Ivanti Email+ Reviews

As an EA, it’s really helpful to have my corporate email all in one place, be able to sort my mail with the read/unread/flagged categories, & get notices that new email has reached me.
With that said, there are some things about IvantiEmail that I hope to see:
- sometimes emails get sorted as conversations & that causes a specific email to get lost. Please give a setting so that emails do not have to be grouped like that.
- I can only see my calendar. My job requires me to look at several other users’ calendars but I have yet to see a way that lets me add a users’ calendar to mine. Can this be made possible?
- Search bar doesn’t work that well. I find it best to use only one keyword but it’s still hard looking for emails that you know are there. Part of the “grouped” problem I mentioned first, but also occurs on singular emails.

Switched to this from Outlook, which I had switched to from Boxer. Really needs the option to “archive” (ie swipe or click to send to a preset folder, instead of just sending to trash). Also the “Move” function takes too many clicks - shouldn’t need to hit “Move” after having already selected the folder. Seems like small gripes but these absences prevents the ability to quickly deal with email.

I have to go in and update my review and thank the devs for adding Dark Mode to this solid app. Credit where it’s due!

I can’t help that my employer only allows MobileIron email, but it does what it needs to and is very stable in my experience. Fast email pushes, decent alerting settings and overall quality app.

Latest update fix some of the issues moving emails to folders but still need work as it was before. Now there is a problem where the email shows 2 lines and then it says loading. It hangs there and you need to get out of IvantiEmail and return and still says loading. Sometimes the email is downloaded. This behavior is new and annoying. Features below still not fix and they have been there for a long time

This update was supposed to only allow VOIP. BUT somehow this update has now turned a somewhat reliable app into a useless one. I relied on it heavily but now if I have an email open for more than a minute IvantiEmail shuts down. So now I either have to save a reply as a draft every 30 seconds (otherwise will lose everything I type because doesn't automatically save the draft--unlike Outlook) or altogether not ever respond to emails. Even with the latter I can only have about a minute before it closes on me. Ugh!

IvantiEmail was already terrible, but last update completely ruined it for me. VIP alerts no longer work, so now I either have to select no alerts or all alerts. I receive 200+ emails a day and do not want an alert for all of them. And if I did, it drains my apple watch battery. How can someone make an app that is so crappy. You could copy someone else and do better. This is what complacency does when you have corporate money coming in.

Notifications no longer work properly in the latest update. They do not dismiss from Notification Center when reading an email in IvantiEmail without clicking on the notification. Additionally, emails have stopped delivery as push even though all settings are set to push. Lastly, the notifications no longer show previews even though all settings in iOS and IvantiEmail are set to display previews.

Since the most recent update, all notifications from IvantiEmail are appearing without a message preview. I’ve checked all notification settings in IvantiEmail and iPhone settings. All are set to enable message previews in the notifications. Now all I receive is a notification that says the following:

”You have new messages”

Would love to see this fixed soon.

I have used at least a dozen email apps on the iPhone now and have never seen stuff like "optimizing database" which prevents me from looking at my emails. You guys need competent app developers that can perform the same operation in the background. I wish companies saw the loss of productivity due to the bad decision of forcing IvantiEmail on their employees. Additionally, never seen such a terrible developer team that does not listen to anything it's customers are saying.

Appears in the latest update if IvantiEmail, notifications of email in the lock screen if my iPhone are slower and don’t show details of the email. Can someone advise why this feature was removed?

Would have given 0 stars if that was possible. Email app takes at least 20 seconds to open up. Push notification works like it’s the stone ages, notifying about new emails 10 minutes after they arrive. This platform is being used by so many big corporations throughout the country, I wonder how they get away by offering such poor service.

Doesn’t update one email at a time so if I get two I just get a notification that there are messages, not what they are or how many. Only updates when IvantiEmail is open in the background. If I close IvantiEmail I have to open it back up to manually check emails. Useless with an Apple Watch for email and calendar. Have been trying to get used to it for several months now and still a terrible app.

The major downfall I have noticed about IvantiEmail is the push notifications. The purpose of having email on my phone is it to notified. It’d be appreciated if you guys could fix this please.

IT managers, this is not a viable solution for your company. The functionality is terrible, alerts don’t come through when they should, attachments are difficult to manage, and there’s no ability to add IvantiEmail as an option for quick sending photos or attachments. Avoid this.

Executives, if your IT managers suggest IvantiEmail as a solution, fire them on the spot. There’s nothing wrong with Apple’s native email app.

I use this every day for corporate email and calendar and it’s pretty good! Makes it easy to do my work without it overlapping with my personal info.

This is like lotus notes from the 90’s. Unfortunately I have to use it because my company doesn’t allow anything else :-/

I have folders and rules setup on my exchange account so basically I have to guess which folder has new mail in it. IvantiEmail only downloads files at the root of my inbox not all files and folders.

Notifications seldom work in IvantiEmail. You have to open the to see if you receive email and when you do open it it’s usually still stuck at point in time you last opened it, only after a couple minutes do it sync and load the latest emails. I’ve used other email apps forced on me by employers and this is by far the worst.

Great interface, easy to use, good performance and never crashes. I use this application to securely interface with my work Outlook email.

Not sure what’s with all the 1 star reviews. Way better than the standard apple mail app.

I'm guessing most using IvantiEmail have no choice. App should be pulled from IvantiEmail Store. Want to decrease work productivity for no reason? This is IvantiEmail for you.

Why do I get two notifications when I receive email? Why are my flags the same color as unread email. Does adding a 4 digit pin really enhance security when phone already requires complex password or Touch ID?

Work phone for a federal agency. Email is unreliable and slow. I might get an email anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour after it was sent. Outgoing emails are often delayed and sit in the outbox for a random time period. Have no choice regarding its use since my agency requires it. I don't know why we switched from Good anyway. 🤦‍♂️

Forced into using this garbage by my employer. Would rather use the native IOS mail app. Email+ woke me up several times last night alerting on each email received, even with mail alerts set to none. Very buggy and the only way to sleep was to disable all notifications at IOS level.

The actual interface is not very good at all. It looks and feels like something that’s probably 20 years old without any graphical updates. MobileIron strong suit appears to be Security, not app design. Make it look like Outlook Mobile or one of the other email apps and it probably wouldn’t be bad.

Email+ needs a “remove from calendar” option for meeting cancellation notices. Currently, I must go to Outlook Web Access to remove cancelled meetings from my calendar. Email+ also needs real-time push email delivery as opposed to synchronizing in the background a few times throughout the day.

After the last update, outgoing email would not send. Incoming email was received only after manually refreshing IvantiEmail .

Had to uninstall and reinstall app in order to be able to send email.

App still will not open encrypted emails.

Forces you to change iOS password to 6 characters as a result the only way to view your watch is to unlock your phone. I asked iT if it was customizable ...was told no. Wish I could go back to the GOOD app, but no longer offered.
