The most frustrating app, nothing is clear and making a connection is really difficult
AusweisAppBund makes no sense because there are only a handful of use cases for it. Dear developers, imagine if we could save our ID cards to the Apple wallet. I know this is a difficult task but it should be possible if all authorities work together.
The connection is soooo weak and it’s AusweisAppBund ’s problem for sure. My other cards work just fine. Just not with AusweisAppBund.
The new iPhones have been out for more than 6months and still doesn’t seem to be supported.
AusweisAppBund doesn’t pair with the computer.
Doesn’t work at all..
When I try to autorise it allows me to scan my Ausweis, but when it comes to send all scanned info from phone to the website it always fails. It shows me « Error code: Workflow_Preverification_error. Preverification failed »
I have followed for all stages that are listed on the official website of Bundesamt fur Justice (Germany) with 2 different phones and it showed all same errors, so the error is caused not by my side.
I have spend trying different ways and different algorithms to make this verification and get the reference that I need for 3 days and I am very disappointed in this application because it is THE ONLY WAY to get the reference certificate from Bundesamt fur Justice at the times of QUARRANTINE , when the physical access to their offices is restricted! I have no other way to get it other than AusweisAppBund.
I am looking forward for support and response, because all emails listed in app are not responding.
die Verbindung wird permanent unterbrochen wenn man die Transport Pin aendern will. Man wuerde denken so eine simple App wuerde funktionieren aber da muessen die Programmierer noch viel lernen.
Ergaenzung: auch mit iPhone 11 Pro und Wochen spaeter funktioniert die Aenderung der Transport Pin nicht. Amateure!
It looks quite promising as an app, but unfortunately the connection from the device to the card is so weak that the read/write operations are most of the times failing.

This works well as wireless NFC reader for a computer running the Mac or Windows version of Ausweisapp. Finally I can get rid of my clunky USB reader (which often had driver issues).
Ausweisapp sagt Kartenlesegerat braucht treiber. Webseite sagt macOS auf dem neusten Stand und braucht kein Treiber.
Es ist schon komisch wieso wir diese komischen Wege gehen um auf diese Basic daten zugriff zu haben. Benutze den digitalen Ausweis einmal alle 2 Jahre. Und muss jedes Mal minimum 4 Stunden aufwenden um das Ganze zum Laufen zu bekommen.
Komische Unis die wir in DE haben. Schwer gute Noten zu bekommen, und das Resultat ist kreativlose Programmierung. Und der der das ließt weiß es eh besser warum etwas so ist wie es ist. Gleichzeitig kommen keine Verbesserungsvorschläge.
Works fine for me. Even through my (not so thin) cover. Not the apps fault that there are currently nearly 0 use cases :-(
