When I specify an arrival date for a waypoint, Roadtrippers alters it to the day before. I'm not travelling between two different time zones. I asked RoadTrippers Support twice about this. Once on 22 September 2022 and once on 14 February 2024. Despite being about 16 months between requests, the answer was the same: We are aware of an issue with dates periodically appearing a day less or more than what was originally entered. We do believe this is most likely related to timezone differences between your local time and times stored in our database. I'm in Australia, and RoadTrippers DB is probably in USA, and maybe it was designed for use only there. Maybe it doesn't use UTC time. My coping strategy is to specify the day ahead of the day I want, and then hope that the date doesn't change again.

How to fix Roadtrippers app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Roadtrippers app on iPhone
Update Roadtrippers app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Roadtrippers iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Roadtrippers on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Roadtrippers network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Roadtrippers Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Roadtrippers not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Roadtrippers App
1. On android, goto Settings » Roadtrippers » click [Force Stop]

Update Roadtrippers to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Roadtrippers App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Roadtrippers » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Roadtrippers.

Fix Roadtrippers unable to contact server/ Roadtrippers internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Roadtrippers » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Roadtrippers » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Roadtrippers
