One and done out of hundreds of purchases

Seriously, are you buying the good reviews? Or selectively working Paribus based on demographics? Patterns and personal experience suggest corruption of a purposeful design. Until Paribus delivers as promised I will be its biggest detractor. Details follow. I was super excited when first claim went through and Walmart gave me a very small of money back on a pack of batteries but I have never received anymore money back after that. I am disabled and shop online nearly daily. Walmart delivers everything from shampoo to dogfood to furniture to my house. You allegedly put in claims. They have only ever refunded one for about two dollars. They had an excuse for the biggest one in that the item was no longer in stock, so what? The others they ignored. Or you ignored, either way, thousands of dollars later meant no activity for me, which seems suspect. Considering your listings of all the big money everybody else was getting. Apparently you didn’t even try on the majority of my purchases because my membership expired and you did not notify me. Expired? Where was I warned that you were going to take a time out in submitting my claims shortly after I signed up? What kind of crap business practice is that? So it was strictly a one and done, no joy no fun why the hype? why the squeeze? why the tease? for me. Or is it because I recently paid off all but one of my credit cards? Then call it a high credit card debt pari bust.

An easy way to save a little money

I had to write a review after seeing the horrid one star on the front page! The thing about Paribus is you have to do nothing and you might get some money back for doing nothing I repeat NOTHING but shop as you would normally! Yes you might have to re log into the account every once in awhile to give the permission again to monitor your purchases but that’s it! There’s no promise that you will get money back just like if I take a matter to a store ( item now on sale or missed shipping deadline ect...) that the store has a policy in place to honor it! But the joy of Paribus is that I don’t have to do the work to monitor the items price for the stores allotted time frame and then write the letter to customer service. That’s time I’m happy to save, as a mother of two with a small at home business time is money!! So thanks pardius team!! Your hard work and the development of Paribus is much appreciated!!

Great Experience

I’m someone who lives in a place that’s not easily accessible. I know that when I place an order, it won’t always be delivered on time. This has a lot to do with weather, or traffic, or different times of the year. this app has totally had my back and has helped me get many free months of my prime service because of late arrivals. If your looking to break the bank with refunds because of price changes this may not be for you. They’ve always been fair to me. I’ve been more interested in emails that they send automatically to companies on your behalf to help get you some type of reimbursement..........Thank you!

Poor experience

Only made a handful of purchases over Christmas but wanted to see if Paribus would save me any money. Some of the purchases didn’t qualify due to the retailer I purchased from which I totally understand. However, a larger purchase I made wouldn’t show up in my purchase history. I contacted customer service and they said they would look into it... they said it’s a technical issue and they will get it fixed and my purchase will be submitted. 3 weeks later when I ask again for an update because I haven’t heard back, they said the purchase is outside of the eligibility for submission and it won’t qualify even though this is due to technology issues on their end.
I don’t know if I would have even gotten money back on that purchase, I just think it’s crap they won’t honor it since this is THEIR issue. 1 star and deleting Paribus

I was skeptical at first but now I love it!

Originally I was pretty skeptical about this ap. BUT....this ap WORKS!!! I have received emails twice letting me know prices dropped on items I had purchased. Between the two I got a price refund of OVER $150. This Ap is great. It even gave me a suggestion of what to say when asking for my refund. All I did was cut and paste their suggestions when I contacted the places I had ordered from—the suggestion even included my order number and item description. I didn’t even have to look those up. Definitely use this Ap if you like saving money! Best of all, this Ap was FREE!

Unreliable and unhelpful support

After having this for almost a year, I finally get a refund notice saying a price had dropped at Walmart and that I had received a refund of $4.88. I check my account and Walmart only refunded me .04¢. I contact the “Paribusters” their customer support about the inaccurate refund, and they tell me they’re not allowed to follow up on claims and I’d have to contact Walmart myself. This completely defeats the purpose of having Paribus in the first place. On top of this, they send out a dozen notifications and emails bragging about how they saved me $4.88. Makes me wonder how many other refunds they claim to have gotten people but never really received. Also if you change your password, this app doesn’t notify you or tell you to update they just cancel your account.

Don’t recommend waste of time

Have been using Paribus since May. For the first month I had zero issues. However Paribus has stopped working and has not been tracking any of my purchases. When reaching out to customer service they assured me they were working on this issue as it has affected many. However, they also stated they would only post the last 30 days of purchases and I would lose everything else. My issue is that I ordered most of my things within the last 45 days that Paribus has stopped working. I have chosen to delete Paribus altogether and use something else and there is no guarantee when Paribus will even be back up and working. DO NOT RECOMMEND. There’s other apps that do work and customer service will take care of any issues you may come across.

Don’t waste your time... or give away your info!

I have had this app for about a year and a half, and in that time, it has saved me a whopping $4. I hesitate to even credit this app for that as I was the one who detected a price drop on a purchase by checking the store ad. In addition, I had to contact the store myself (this app did not detect the drop for several days and did not file a claim on my behalf). Despite the nominal savings, I’d be content to keep Paribus and/or service if it actually worked, but recently this app has not been detecting ANY of my purchases made at ‘participating’ retailers (Target and Kohl’s to name a few) for about the past 6 months. I contacted support to no avail. So I see no reason to keep allowing them access to my personal information in exchange for absolutely nothing, and neither should you.

App is glitchy

Paribus is extremely glitchy. Only one of my purchases is appearing for the last week or so, it is repeated dozens of times in the watching tab, and each duplicate says it’s being watched for 17,000 days.
I loved it for the first 2 months or so, but now it’s all out of whack. My app is updated to the latest version.
Update: I received a response to my help request from their website. Unfortunately, all they told me was that they were aware of the issue, they didn’t know when it would be fixed, and once it was fixed, my purchases would be tracked again. In the meantime, I’m losing all of the benefits of Paribus , my purchases aren’t being tracked, and if they don’t figure it out, the time windows for stores will be closed.
I loved Paribus, now I’m over it.

Awesome app that gives me the peace of mind

Awesome tool that gives me the complete peace of mind! I disagree with other reviewers’ comment that this is useless just because they haven’t got refund back yet — let’s be honest: Paribus is not designed to get your money back every purchase (how could that even be possible); this is supposed to protect and act on behalf of you WHENEVER you are eligible to get some money back but you don’t want to spend hours to deal with the customer service reps. I shop online all the time and it’s nice to have Paribus protect my rights and get my back.

Spent 30 seconds in app and deleted it, waste of my 30 seconds.

They only look at Gmail or Yahoo email; which I don’t have. And to get it to work I’d have to jump through hoops. So anyone with AOL, msn, or another EXTREMELY POPULAR email provider can’t use Paribus, or alternatively has to get a gmail or yahoo account and forward all of your emails from you main email to the new one. I personally hate gmail and yahoo and will never get one of those accounts, so now I’m screwed and can’t even try Paribus to see if it works. Such a disappointment. I understand there’s like hundreds of email providers but to not include all the popular ones, especially AOL which had been around for decades, is such an idiotic decision

Useless

I don’t understand, I have shopped online multiple times this week and last week on various different websites and it shows up as no purchases, no eligible and no ineligible. Doesn’t catch any purchases from my emails. So what, Paribus just gets to read my emails, have 100% access to gmail and could even permanently delete my emails but can’t even find any of the purchases in there?

Ha, as soon as I wrote this review I was suddenly logged out and now I can’t access anything, what a coincidence....
I keep getting the same copied and pasted “were working on it” for the past couple of months. Done with Paribus! Deleted and would give 0 stars if I could.

I have found the best way to get my refund from over paying!! A dream💭

I am a mother of 4 and I am in charge of my entire household for 26 years now and I have found the best answer to my stress levels when it comes to my over paying for the things that we use for our daily lives and I have to only shop via internet due to a severe autoimmune disease and my health issues are severe and I am not allowed to shop in stores.
Thank you!!

Worked great for a while

I really liked this app at first. It did an excellent job of tracking all my purchases and submitting claims. However that stopped working several months in and now a year down the line I have still be unable to fix it so that this app is actually “seeing” all my purchases and tracking them. My cards are connected as are my accounts. They just don’t see anything I’ve bought from stores with low price guarantees for several months at a time. Which makes it a pretty pointless app at this point. I wish it worked over the long haul. It’s such a great idea

TRASH! Dont waste your time!

Paribus hasn't worked for me in over a month. Ive had more then 50 orders not show up. This garbage just stopped working as of November 14th. According to them if I go on the website all my orders are there, which NO they definitely are not! I tried to have them look into it but their lazy and tried to convince me it was working properly, but yea ok!... pointless people and app! I have several late orders I attempted to start claims on but they were non existent according to these people. Theres no reason to have your email linked to them especially if they cant even do what they claim. DELETED MY ACCOUNT!! WASTE OF TIME AND SPACE! You make Capital One look bad AF!
