Had high hopes but this app failed to meet them

Iwasplanning to use this for studying instead of printing hundreds of sheets of paper. The app would crash continuously or completely erase portions of highlights for no reason. Sometimes in the middle of the document so I had no idea until I scrolled up. It got to a point that the simple task of highlighting chapter would take three times longer instead of making things more efficient. I wanted it to work so badly, but when markups aren’t saved and there is no way to make progress saves, what’s the point? Back to paper I go.

Scam

This app was initially free when I signed up for it in January with no further information provided by the developers that whatever documents you downloaded to it, were going to be hijacked and not allow you to access it until you sign up for their subscription which is $59. My seven day free trial is up today and I have been trying to cancel it. I now I have been charged with no way of getting a refund. I would have never downloaded documents into this app if I would have known that it was going to be like this.

Account needed

Flawed business model.. you need an account to perform basic annotations. There is not need to have an account especially with the need to track what you annotate online ( there is a setting to turn this off).. many pdf annotation application allow conversion of sites into pdf There is no need to sign up for all these “features” especially with a subscription.. wrong on so many levels.
