This is a very good idea for an app. I always find myself wanting to catalog quotes in a neat and organized fashion. This gives me that ability, and I would hate to read without this app. However, I find that the scan-to-text is pretty inaccurate. It jumbled words and puts sentences out of order. I end up using tex- to-speech, but that’s not very convenient. Also, sometimes I open the app and it acts like I just downloaded it. It wants me to set it up again? When this happens, I exit, clear the tab, and go back in. This solves the problem. Please work on the technology behind this, and you’ll have a 5 star app in no time!

I like it but it has trouble capturing when the paragraph has too many characters. For example, when the capture is taken, there will be misspellings and weird characters that appear in the paragraph if it’s a large paragraph. So I have to break it up and capture little bits at a time. Also, the page numbers aren’t always correct so I have to change them. So I think the app is great and I’m glad it exists but it could use some fine tuning. I also wish there was a way to export your notes onto a computer.

the ability to add books by searches, and add old text notes from other places they’re stored now really helps work this into the process of creating a linked database of existing knowledge without starting all over!! the icing on the cake promises to be export to Markdown, as that might more easily allow this resource to be merged into a larger truly linked collection something like ObsidianMD, Dendron, ZimWiki, etc.
