I downloaded the app and made an account, but once I had done so and tried to log in, it gave me a post-log-in splash screen….and nothing else. No continue button, no loading indication. Just a splash screen forever. So much for that.
Edit: Able to log into the app on my iPad, but the app was very buggy. I was able to add a photo for my first pet just fine, but for the second, it no longer gave me the option to add more photos from my library, only the one I already added or to take a new photo. When I finished creating the second pet’s profile, it didn’t take me to the home page as it did with the previous, so I accidentally created the profile twice in my confusion. When trying to add vets, I got an error message (once on the first one but was able to add it, couldn’t even finish typing my search on the second) advising me to make sure the app was up to date, but I could not find instructions or an option to update the app.

I really want to love this app however it seems to promise more than it delivers. Customer derive used to be responsive however I also find that had fallen off (then again I don’t recall an app I have only had for 4 months and have had to reach out to customer support so often). The weight tracker I thought was great but redesign I can’t find it despite adding my pet’s weight to it. The pet food recall is great that is if they have the brand and even if they have the brand they may not have the actual product listed. Writing them to ask them to add it or providing a way for users to do so goes unanswered. I have paid for an annual subscription however since switching to a new iPhone the app thinks my plan level is Free. However, any other app out there isn’t as good as PawPrint which is why it’s so frustrating that they cant seem to iron out there few wrinkles that seem to compound and detract from how amazing this app could be.

First, this is a very useful app when all involved collaborate. There are, however, problems.
First, it should open to a page that lists all your pets.
Second, once you click on one pet, it should stay there until you are done inputting rather than wait to ask which pet was tested or vaccinated.
Third, the calendar does not work well (at least on my iPhone SE under 11.4). There is no obvious place to touch so it selects a date. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. In this respect, particularly disturbing was that it would allow me to mark my dog as dead without a date —- and the date function doesn’t work. This means I get regular notifications of his meds and vaccinations.
I’d delete this app if I didn’t have other pets on it.
