App issues.

Has too many connection issues while I have full bars and connected to WiFi. Tried setting up a spending limit and has the same issues when I submit my information. And when it does go through, it tells me it can’t find me with my employer and employee ID provided, yes the information is correct, I keep trying a couple of times hoping it would work, but then yet again, says it can’t connect to PurchasingPower servers. And when I have created an account, it’s makes me sign in to do almost anything on PurchasingPower when I created an account and have already been logged in. I have been referred by an employee to give it a try, I would like to! But app seems to have some problems

Extended warranty offered a joke

Don’t waste your money buying something on Purchase Power if you’re thinking about purchasing an extended warranty with it. I bought a go cart and figured an extended warranty was a good idea. Was having motor issues several months into owning the go cart and tried to use the extended warranty. The company Purchase Power uses is a joke. They had no solution to get my cart fix and wanted me to take it to a place 100 miles away that repaired cellular phones. Yes, cell phones. They had no idea what they were dealing with. Then their final idea was that I find a place to repair it and submit a receipt for reimbursement. I live in the country and their is literally no one around that will fix this foreign made cart. I tried finding someone. I would have to travel and pay more than I bought the cart to get it repaired and the warranty company could care less. They had my money and they weren’t going to assist. Purchase Power’s answer to my problem was ‘oh well, nothing we can do to help you.’ Stay away from Purchase Power an if you feel still incline to buy off of them, don’t waste your money on the warranty.

Consider yourself warned. Don’t Bother With This Company.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I signed up and was given a certain spending limit amount so I ordered a couch. A week later I get an email saying I had to make a payment because I went over my spending limit. So I guess they can just change that after the fact. I made the payment anyway and didn’t hear anything about my order for another month. I emailed and received no replies. When I’d call I would be placed on hold for 20 minutes or more and never received help. 2 months after my order I get an email that it will be delivered at a day and time I can’t be there so I call the delivery company they use and surprisingly they can’t deliver during a time I can be there. The lady on the phone kept putting me on hold and kept trying to give me a time that I said would not work but it was like she didn’t care or understand. I finally got fed up and tried to cancel the order but was told I’d be charged $300 since it’s already been shipped. It’s a scam company. Shop elsewhere.

A TOTAL INCONVENIENCE

I processed an order of a washer and dryer back in January. After I realized that I wasn’t going to be home to accept the delivery I cancelled the order. The delivery company reached out to me to reschedule, I told them that I have canceled the order. After a month making sure the order was canceled I still was getting a deduction out of my paycheck. I reached out to them only to find out that the order was never canceled in which was a month later. After serval failed attempts to get this matter rectified I asked to speak with someone on my refund; only to be given the runaround how the refund process works. It’s now another month of me calling them to get a refund. It’s now May and they have taken over $1200 out of my check with no refund! This service is an complete INCONVENIENCE!!! I do not recommend ANYONE TO USE THIS SERVICE. There prices are marked up higher than the original retail value.

Sadly what people say is the truth.

I only order because of the convenance and because they work with me through my employer buy people on here speak the truth, there is little to no kind hearted customer service with this “rent to own” company, purchasing power” its not just here but every where online people say the same things, once they have your money thats it.. They wont throw you a bone, instead their version of customer service is feeding you to the wolves..

They need to better! This is w wake up call because this could be 1 step to going out of biz all for the wrong reasons.. Also why dies PurchasingPower log me out every time??

Just hope they turn it around and become as respectable as Aaron's tent to own biz! Those chooms consistently delivered excellent, knowledgable customer service! Maybe its because They are with in the 50 states? i dont know..

Rip off

This is by far the worst company out there they pray on the good working people and are a scam their supervisor Brain has no respect and the worst attitude that a supervisor could have and he should be fired immediately from the time he got to the phone till the time the call ended his tone showed nothing but disrespect they don’t honor their employees word at all if one of their employees or 5 says they will do something for you and you have proof they still find away around it they had a shipping company bring a couch to my house scratch and scrape my wall and bent the couch up when I told the company to take it back purchase power says I have to pay them 270. For tearing my house up what a joke never again I have stopped everyone I know from my job for making this same mistake and will continue to voice my experiences to everyone I know about this place.

Horrible service

Ok so check it out I placed a order my first order on the dec 8 witch was a bed mattress a month later nothing so I decided to call purchasing power and they told me it will get to me in about to weeks they gave me some tracking information. To contact the delivery service witch I did two weeks laters after they told me I would be receiving the item I ordered so I call the carrier. And guess what they had no idea what I was talking about all my information that I was giving was wrong. So I call purchasing power to see what’s going on. And they. Told me they would give me a call back later 3 weeks later they get in contact with me informing me that the item I ordered was out of stock. So that I would get a refund on the money that I was paying throughout these months so they told me to call back last Friday so I can receive the money I had paid already. And nothing told me to call Tuesday witch was yesterday and guess what nothing they told me to call today witch I just did now they are telling me to call back Friday all they tell me is I’m sorry for the. Inconvenience So to make it shorts it’s been over 3 months and nothing no money back no nothing SMH. THIS BY FAR THE WORST I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. SO DISAPPOINTED

Their customer service is terrible

I places an order on October first. I can to cancel that order myself because I realized that it was the wrong item. The next day I tried to redo the order and I used my fiancé card for $6.77. Since then all my orders including that order keep getting cancelled. There no phone calls as to why or anything. I called and informed their customer of the issue multiple times. It always oh we will get this taken care of in 3 to 5 business days. First it was the card and that I entered my social incorrectly. I used my card on my other two orders I called to pick in a ticket to update my social and still it is the same nonsense. Like come on. And no one will even email or call to ask questions to verify anything.

Horrible verification system

For some strange reason my phone number could not be verified, I’ve called several times trying to fix the issue, they told me last week it was fixed that I had to take a security quiz. As I was starting the quiz PurchasingPower shut down on me. I called them back and they said no worries problem is fixed just wait 24 hrs and try again... I did and still had the same issue, so I called back and this time they said sorry ma’am there’s nothing we can do YOU HAVE TO CONTACT YOUR PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER AND CHANGE YOUR PHONE NUMBER THEN CALL US BACK ONCE THATS DONE 🙄😳😳. I asked if I could send them any documentation to confirm my identity they said no ma’am just change your phone number and it’ll be fine!!! Smh horrible.

Poor App functionality

PurchasingPower is absolute garbage and in need of a serious overhaul. I’m not speaking on the product selection, service, etc. Just PurchasingPower itself. Why does it have to sign you out after leaving it after about 2 minutes causing issues where you may lose the place where you are searching. Now I have to sign back in after force closing PurchasingPower . Very inconvenient. Two-step verification is a joke. After the latest update, PurchasingPower always says it does not recognize my device. Face-ID implementation is amateur at best. PurchasingPower is very slow to give basic information about order history.. Please upgrade PurchasingPower. I’d rather use a regular browser now.

Ordered 2 laptop.

I ordered 2 laptop. I got an email stating that they will upgrade my order to a different laptop (coz the original which I ordered was sold out.) when they sent me the replacement laptop (one of the order has been cancelled coz the items were sold out too)I only received one. I called and spoke with supervisor. I told him that since they have one of the item cancelled( I didn’t cancel it, they did) I’ll go ahead and will pay for only one laptop. Then, I got an email that says, they were unable to cancel the other laptop. (They sent another laptop. Mind you they already told me that I only got one coz the other replacement ones got sold out too.) So now I have two laptops and charge with two.

Good Program, Terrible App

Look, I love this program that I have through work. I love the ability to be able to do this, I love what’s offered.

But PurchasingPower — it’s so bad. I have to fight tooth and nail to do just about anything in it. Especially when searching travel. It’s so godawful. Buttons stop working, you click one place and it wants to do something else. Not to mention sometimes it loops you back into the login screen randomly.

I prefer using PurchasingPower when I’m not near my laptop or just don’t feel like pulling out my laptop (eg while watching tv or laying bed) but with everything that’s wrong with the apps functionality, it just—it’s so terrible.

Issue with the app itself

I have yet to actually purchase anything from PurchasingPower so the service this company provides isn’t anything I have an issue with. Honestly I think the business model is great and allows people to get their hands on things they would otherwise need to save up for, however it’s not my place to give praise I can’t back up with experience. PurchasingPower itself has some sort of issue where it loops you back through to the login screen after you try to use the search function or select an item on the initial page. Even logging out and reentering your login information isn’t enough to fix the issue.

I would like to mention I am currently running the ios beta version so this may have something to do with it, however it’s worked in the past even while my phone running the beta os. Overall this issue seems to be very inconsistent but nonetheless frustrating.

Very Overpriced.

Pretty much all items are overpriced some more significantly than others. As an example, you can buy a base iPhone 12 Pro 128GB for upwards of $1500 this a phone that is 3 years old as of 2023 and new would have a MSRP of $699. there are other worse markups Of even older products as well. For most things especially electronics you’re better off trying to use other pay over time services or just buying it outright yourself. At least you’re paying market price and not 50, 70 or even 100% + over the normal price.

Next issue, shipping: free shipping requires a ridiculous amount to be purchase just under $1000 for me specifically.

Outside of the ridiculous prices I don’t really have any other complaints yet

So much for a gift for my wife

I ordered an Apple Watch series 4 for my wife on Dec 13. I turned in my documentation on Dec 14. I checked the status of my order 2 days later and saw an estimated delivery date of Dec 21. That day came and went with no signs of the watch I ordered for my wife for Christmas. I called on Dec 24 and was informed that my order was lost by UPS. No one from the company reached out to let me know. I still would have been waiting on a watch that was never coming had I not called myself. Now I’m being told that the watch is out of stock. If I owed money I’m sure there would have been several phone calls and emails made to contact me. No one at the company is trying to do anything to fix this problem. I’m done with Purchasing Power.

Purchasing Power Rocks!

I am a loyal customer that depends on the Purchasing Power program. I have the flexibility to make monthly payments without breaking my budget. Purchasing Power has up-to-date products with the latest technology such as cell phones, televisions, refrigerators that I enjoy taking part in buying. I’m happy to know Purchasing Power makes it easy for me to get the items I need and want conveniently without ever having to go out my home.

Love this app

I have been shopping with purchasing power since 2020 I have never had a bad experience from purchasing power themselves only the shipping companies they use.I have been able to buy all off the newest electronics with out having to stress about paying a huge amount at one time. Yes the prices for things maybe a little high but the convenience of paying over time and through my check is what sold me and I like the discounts they offer

HTTP ERRORS

PurchasingPower has an error issue and so does the website. There’s no where to report an issue under support. I’m pretty sure it’s a great program but unfortunately I’m unable to use it. I have the latest iPhone at that so I’m not sure what the issue is but there needs to be an option to report errors. That is all.

In response to the previous update...I was able to get my computer! I ordered it on Tuesday and it’ll be delivered tomorrow according to the tracking. That’s awesome. Thank you

Absolutely love it

PurchasingPower/program is a absolute dream. It’s very easy to navigate and the support team really looks out for you on any issues. I’ve used this for 5 years and only had 2 issues which was not related to them just unfortunate people stealing from my mail box. But they immediately took action and sent out replacements and on one incident they were out of stock so they just refunded me the money to my account. Hassle free. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️

Not everything is worth it but it’s nice to have

If you buy some things it’s okay your always gonna pay more but it’s partnered with my company auto pulls out of my pay check and I get a 2k spending limit so I try to keep no more then 15/20$ a week coming out and I don’t even notice it honestly esp with working so much overtime you can always make a payment as well to pay off faster
