After a recent update, I am no longer connected through my past flight or “Lion air account”. It’s difficult to retrieve an booking information. I found the email confirmation much more informative and helpful than the entirely of LionAir . If you must fly Lion Air, use the desktop website - it’s slightly better.

Impossible to buy a ticket through their app or website. Scam??

Why bother using LionAir that have limitation, like no option to use klikbca payment? Worthless app, but i look forward for an update, yet,, It still far better using the web, dont bother using this,, its like a beta app,,,

they don’t accept credit card if your flight is next 48 hours.

LionAir should be pulled out from LionAir store.

I would have given this a zero stars if it was possible, completely useless.

Now they have my personal info but no functionality. I got LionAir because the web site wasn’t working. Silly me.

The website would not take my credit card so i thought i could use apple pay on LionAir as a workaround. Nope. No apple pay and your American credit card will not work. I tried 5 different credit cards and 2 debit cards. Nothing. I ended up booking through a 3rd party website and paying $50 extra. Not cool.

Attempted to book a flight and and it wouldn’t process. Useless!!

This must be the worst app for any airline in the world . Useless and buggy surprised an airline could have an app that bad .

User experience and lack of functionality are so bad that I truly suspect the developer team is just having a joke on how poor an app they can develop in order to laugh at feedback.

You try to select a departure or arrival location and LionAir goes into a never ending loading screen. I thought the website was bad, but their app is complete garbage!

Why can’t I add a booking at all ? I have the record locator and last name yet LionAir does not allow it

There is no place to add a booking for a future flight . Where does one add a future book?

I put one star because there’s no zero!!! Horrible! You can’t book a flight, app doesn’t work. ATM payment? Still app doesn’t work no matter what you do your not able to book a flight!

Both LionAir AND the website won’t work if you’re in the US. Can’t even get results and kept on looping when you’re searching for a flight.
Apparently their firewall prevented international bookings and transactions (at least from US - dunno about other countries). They missed out on tons of money from foreign visitors. Their loss.

You can only search city pairs that have direct flights, ie no connecting flights. From Tarakan, for example, you have exactly three choices: Jakarta, Balikpapan, and Surabaya. So it's basically a worthless app.

In order to be able to use LionAir or website, you need to use a VPN connected to somewhere in Indonesia.

No flight status selections

I tried LionAir but could not Check In for my flight. So I deleted it and used my Safari browser instead. It ends up that LionAir asks for First name when searching for your info but the browser version asks for Last Name, so there lies the clue to why I couldn't check in with LionAir. Also it doesn't show Phuket (HKT) as a destination from Bangkok, so it's not up to date. It only shows 2 airports in Thailand, when hey fly to many more then that.

Now, LionAir wont working. Entering arrival city is stuck. Pls fix and Thank You.
