Summary of HiNative Problems 🔥

- New people come and start asking basic questions, so every time a question is buried under so many already-answered questions and it's hard to get an answer.

- Some users who claim to be native level may not actually know what they're talking about or give accurate solutions.

- You cannot post any sort of question without paying money, regardless of your contributions. This was not made clear up front.

- The app is very good at encouraging you to contribute your time and expertise to it while obfuscating that you won't be able to ask for anything yourself until you pay.

How to fix HiNative app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the HiNative app on iPhone
Update HiNative app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall HiNative iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix HiNative on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve HiNative network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

HiNative Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix HiNative not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the HiNative App
1. On android, goto Settings » HiNative » click [Force Stop]

Update HiNative to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear HiNative App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » HiNative » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart HiNative.

Fix HiNative unable to contact server/ HiNative internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click HiNative » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto HiNative » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch HiNative
