Our town is notorious for high gas prices, but the 76 station near our house is consistently lower than the competition. So figure in My76 discount, tie my Sams Club card to it which gives me another 5 cents per gallon cash back, and this is a sweet deal. App functions well, too!

I strongly do not recommend using their mobile app for gas purchases with Apple Pay, especially if you use an Apple Card.

Normally, when you purchase gas, it will show as “pending“ for a day or two, then show as completed when the transaction has cleared; however, this is not the behavior of the 76 app.

76 gas purchases with Apple Pay via their app will spontaneously disappear for 1 to 2 days after you purchase gasoline, and often will not reappear afterwards.

76 customer service is of absolutely no help, will just tell you to contact Apple Pay. Meanwhile, I do not see this behavior on other mobile gas purchase apps. ex. Chevron and ExxonMobil both work just fine, the transactions do not disappear but show as pending for 1-2 days until the transaction is fully completed.

That was such an easy set up and 76 is so close to me. It’s hard to save without paying for a membership or paying cash. So I’m thrilled to have found savings and a touchless payment method that work for me.

App worked great and I was saving $ then after one update several months ago My76 never worked again. Deleted and redownloaded and still app never works. Attendant and I looked and this was my 15th attempt but My76 never activated the pump and charges me $0.00 every time. So far out of those 15 trips I have not received the $56+ in gas credits even though payment thru My76 was attempted. Emailed customer service and zero response.

Great way to save $0.25 AND if you ever have questions about direct pay, they’ll actually have someone call you on the phone. I don’t know any other app that has support as personalized as this and it was very reassuring

Works only half of the time. Wants you to update app when you’re at the pump. Swell. No wifi when you’re there so you can’t use My76 . Other times it malfunctions at different gas stations and says the pump is already being used. Gives a nice discount when it’s working but this could be a lot better.

It’s so much so much simpler to use, it lets you see which gas station has mobile payment at the pump and best of all the option to change the background into dark mode.

Makes the entire process simple and nice because you don’t have to touch anything but the pump itself. Very convenient

I love the feature of paying thru My76 . However, it’s be nice if the employee of the gas station knew how to accept My76 as payment. It’s such a hassle telling the clerk that I am paying thru My76 and then for them to figure it out. I go out of my way to 7-11 more just to avoid this issue. Sad

First I was deceived in thinking I receive $.25 off per gallon and really only received $.12 off per gallon for my purchase also the discount was nowhere near worthwhile considering the fact that they didn’t tell me there be $100 hold on my account and then put my account into -$47. Absolutely not worth the discount and extremely disappointed and irritated by My76 and it’s deceptive claims

My76 has a spending cap of $95 per fill up and will not make it to the 30 gallon mark, which is what they advertise is available to you, if you have a full size pickup truck in California. It’s only good for about 22 to 23 gallons with the current fuel prices and since Bozo Biden took over. I have contacted their tech support on several occasions about this issue, along with many other glitches in My76 , and they refuse to remedy it.

My76 screen in the listing here (and ads elsewhere, like Waze) hides the fact that to get the “up to 25 cents savings” you must have a Phillips card. Bad practice at any time, but especially now when people are strapped for money and gas prices are artificially inflated due to war-driven speculation.
I downloaded this single-purpose app to stretch my budget, not to get a come-on to open a credit account.

My father recommended me My76 as he always uses it with no difficulties. I used My76 for my first time and the process was simple and efficient. I had no difficulty paying for my gas; however, the following day I noticed I was charged an additional $95 to my card. I may be just one of few who has had a bad experience with My76 but a $95 additional charge is ridiculous

Force to use a special character for password when signing up. Not only that I went through through whole process and to the last step “sign in with faceID”, it failed and force me to sign up again. And after the trouble of going through the whole thing again, it failed at the last step again. Very frustrating

What’s worse than needing to re-login every time there is a operating system update? THIS: Just read the new EUA “End User Agreement” terms you’ll be asked to agree to on this latest update. Such garbage. No thanks, 76. Not worth the dime per gallon “discount” (which is actually less than 0.04%) to sign-off on your lopsided agreement, unrestricted sale of my personal info for your gain, and use your low-functioning app.

Just download My76 , connect it to your credit card, and start pumping! You also get a discount on every gallon. You’ll get an emailed receipt. Fast and easy!!

I like My76 it keeps you from having a touch more things I like the discount I just want to figure out how to get more discounts

This updated version is so much better than the previous one.
Financial accounts sync without any issues connecting.

I left my wallet and I was driving with low gas. I stopped at 76 gas station and used the Apple Pay app and 76 app. It was successful and fast. Thanks for 76 and Apple for the technology. It saves my life and saves gas!

The reason I got My76 was to hook up my 76 credit card to get the discount and pay cardless at the pump.
In wallet, adding 76 card, I cannot enter more than 6 digits. I've contacted support twice now with no response. Shrugs shoulders.
I'll try calling again but I feel frustrated already for what should be a simple task.
FYI I can enter other cards like discover just fine.

Older version of My76 was okay but it’s UI was lacking and there were some backend things that didn’t work properly. Now I can say with this new redesigned and updated version it is finally good to use. Before I had issues registering my 76 Kickback card. With this new version it recognized my information right away and registered my card. Choosing the gas pump and paying is quick and easy. It automatically knows which location you’re at which is great because I don’t have to manually choose it. The few stations I’ve used this in worked like a charm. No more having to pull out my card to pay just do it through My76 !

I completely love using My76 and love the 15 cent savings per gallon then I get from using it. I have just been very disappointed since the last update a few weeks ago. Since the last update all that happens when I pull up to the pump and authorize the transaction is that my phone keeps thinking and gets stuck. It does the same thing if I go into the gas station, not just at the pump. So I have been forced to just use my bank card for the last few weeks and pay full price even though I have My76 . If anybody important as being attention to this message please fix the bug in My76 because I love using it.

I gave My76 4 stars based on ease of use. And of course I like the 15 cents off per gallon! The only thing is I should be able to use whichever credit card I want. It’s only chase pay, the union 76 card, and some MasterCard something they take. I was able to add my bank account under Direct Pay. But I wish I could add my Capital One card that I earn rewards on! That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars. I like that I don’t have to risk my card at the pump anymore.

Whomever honestly thought of making the changes to My76? You’re a genius /s. Not only did you guys remove my visa direct pay but now I can’t add it? My only options are either chase visa, your credit card, or MasterCard. I literally have no incentive to use My76 at all. 1) I have no chase Visa card and no intention to switch to chase just to be able to use My76 2) I’m not applying for another credit card—meaning I’ve again, no incentive to apply to your credit card just for fueling purposes and 3) why the hell would I wanna use my MasterCard credit card(s)? I couldn’t even use my Citicard credit card and it’s on the list of approved log ins for Pete’s sake! Bye 76 app. You’ve outdone yourself on this one.

I downloaded and used this on our last family trip to Anaheim and it worked great the one time I was able to use it. Since then I haven’t been able to use it once. The last time I tried it wouldn’t connect to the pumps at the station and gave me no reason, then locked me out because I attempted too many times. It logs me out constantly with no option to use facial recognition for login, so when I get to the gas station I have to sit and manually enter my login which I can never seem to remember for some strange reason. It’s been a way bigger hassle than it’s worth.

Successive release have improved stability to the point you can actually use My76 . And when it works it’s actually one of the better Fuel/Pay at the Pump apps. Still an occasional issue with My76 crashing during the authorization process but it usually works after a restart.

My76 is pretty useful. It save my bacon when I discovered I left my wallet at home and was too far to go back. I was able to use My76 to remote activate the pump using its pay feature to get gas. I have to admit, lol seeing the prices roll back does have a nice psychological effect to it. A feature I hope they will add one day would be a navigational map so I don't have to plan my route using to apps.

App routinely crashes, takes 3-4 tries to select the pump before it lets you proceed to actually pumping gas. Already reported it weeks ago, awaiting the next release (whenever it comes) to see if it’s fixed.

Also, note to 76’s customer service team: if the user says they paid with a credit card, you should be smart enough to know that means they used Chase Pay, since that’s the only actual credit card option available. Don’t admonish the user because you can’t put 2 and 2 together...

Awesome when it works. Has crashed multiple times on all of our devices. Will go to pay and then it just shuts down. So while sitting at the pump I am uninstalling, reinstalling, reentering pins and setting up payment for the 8th time. Have contacted them about it with no reply other than “we are aware of the issue and working on it.” You’d think something would have been fixed in the last 6 months to stop this from happening!

Activated my card and added it to My76 , no problem. Activated my wife’s card (same number, different CID), and keep getting error messages (can’t add card now, check number, try again). That was 10-12 attempts over 3 days ago. Even tried deleting My76 , rebooting the phone, reinstalling My76 . Nope. If it can’t be added to My76 , then the card is useless to us. The whole point is not having to swipe a card.

Great app! Just one negative: it sometimes doesn’t connect to the pump, so I have to use my card. But when it works, it’s awesome! Love that I can just have my receipt on my phone 👍🏼

After multiple calls to finally get card and link it to app, finally set off to Montlake Blvd 76 station in Seattle near UW. Put in email and password and sat for 10 minutes waiting for app to acknowledge. Never happened. Cannot login to app. OK, just used 76 card and forgo 15 cents per gallon as could not use app. After swiping card, savings per gallon never activated. Paid full price after great aggravation. Asked attendant why 10 cents wasn’t credited. Had no idea. No help. What a painful charade. #very_disappointed.

So much for saving 10 cents with mobile pay. I use a visa credit with apple pay and there is no way to link either with their mobile pay system. My76 doesn’t even link your kickback points with the pump and it doesn’t even show your kickback number so that you can type it in. The only use I get out of My76 is seeing how many kickback points i have.

I LOVE My76 and that I don’t need to worry about low level skimmer thieves.

The new design is awesome too!

EDIT: I dropped the rating from 5 star to 2 star. Too many times My76 crashes, 6 times in a row is the highest so far. I found a workaround to make My76 not crash so much, but it’s a serious design flaw. Developer, if you want details, contact me because there is a lot to say about the issue and the workaround.
