I am now lean and feeling great!

Since I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes I’ve signed up for at least 7 different apps to maintain my health. It became overwhelming till I found this app. This is everything you need in just one app. No need to go from app to app and try to keep track of everything. The nutrition coaching and videos are really helpful as well as the workout videos. I hate going to the gym so these videos have blown my mind and make it easy to workout from home. So far I have not only accessed the nutrition and workout videos. But also the lifestyle courses on breaking bad habits and the benefits to a good night sleep.

One would think that since Zova has so many features it would be slow. Absolutely not! The videos are clear and have never buffered . It’s quick and easy to sign up and use. The integration with Apple products/ health is seamless and easy. The entire app is beautiful and the clarity is the best i’ve seen in a really long time. It’s extremely easy on the eyes.

I shared Zova with my doctor. She was also very impressed and was able to see my progress . She indicated that she will be suggesting it to her other patients. I know this review is long but Zova is so remarkable and has been life changing that I had to share my experience.

It works!

I remember a professor saying, “The best workout for you is the one you’ll do.” Well, I’ve finally found a home workout app that I am sticking to, even when I have all the distractions and excuses not to (2 toddlers, new puppy, husband working from home, summer heat). ☀️
What’s working: I find myself held accountable by the 3 workout a week challenge. I continue to love the workouts because they are short and sweet, challenging, but doable, and I love the playlists that auto-generate if you have Apple Music.
I like seeing the workout checked off and know I have a day off for active recovery in between. The workouts are clear, easy to follow, great demonstrations and modifications to keep it safe. I also love seeing the zone I’m in throughout the workout along with a suggested zone/goal.
Sometimes there is zero transition time given between exercises in the set. Like, immediately goes to mountain climbers after squats. Makes me feel anxious that I’m missing a few reps each time or behind. Having even 5 seconds to transition would make it more “human” vs pre-recorded.
Otherwise, very happy with Zova and the extra content and motivational articles provided for off days.

Changed my life

Zova has changed my life. I went from not working out for years to working out every week for over a year. I downloaded this app and did a few workouts and I instantly fell in love with Zova. The quick demonstration before each exercise that flows seamlessly into the exercise is also a great touch. There’s workouts for beginners, and for advanced. There’s short workouts and long workouts! This makes it easy for me to fit in a workout everyday, even if I have a tight schedule. this app has been the only thing that has motivated me to be more active. More than worth it to pay the subscription since it is way less than most gym memberships. These workouts relieve me from my stress and anxiety, because it pushes me to be a better me. I now want to start doing longer and more advanced exercises, I’m determined to work harder. You can favorite workouts so you don’t loose them, and just as easily unfavorite them. If you are starting to break out of beginner workouts you can find intermediate and advanced workouts quick and easy.

Doesn’t utilize Health app data

I would love to give Zova 5 stars, but I can’t. During set up it specifically asks for access to your Health app.
The Health app is a central depository for numerous activities. I currently set workouts on my Apple Watch, then watch as it records time spent, calories burned and other activity. This is documented in the Health app and I can see a break down of my most active days and the data associated with it. My understanding of this app was that it references this when calculating your weekly score. It does not do this.
I can do numerous activities outside of this app, see the progress I’m making, but because I’m not doing the specific this app exercise in Zova , my weekly this app score drops. This creates the opposite effect Zova is trying to instill. I see no progress being made because I jogged up a mountain and had my Watch capture the exercise data. After a week of alternating (this app programs one day, independent Watch recorded data the next), my Watch had recorded all relevant data and I could reference my progress in both the Activity app and in the Health app, but this app said it was my weakest week yet! 😂
It’s a bummer too cause the programs are good. Maybe when they integrate this correctly I’ll be willing to pay the sub, but right now it’s not worth the monthly fee.

Quarantine body No More!

Stumbled upon Zova and gave it a shot; love it! The workouts are tough but a great challenge if you are up for it! Love that they change it up weekly so it’s not so repetitive also have workouts you can choose from in between.

I can always rely on a great workout with this app. The trainers are on point and always make sure to remind you to maintain your posture and explain how your body should be position and used to correctly execute each exercise. In addition to the weekly burns, there are so many workouts you can add to your routine , I especially love the stretching videos!

All and all being a stay at home mom & quarantined, Zova has given me the flexibility of getting in a great work out at home and with no equipment! This is totally worth the subscription, I’m not one to purchase many apps but this one is definitely worth every penny!

Love this app!

In the past two years I probably downloaded around 200 apps or more. Honestly, more than half gets
deleted after a few days because it doesn’t benefit my busy schedule This is a great app to help
everyone stay motivated and eager to workout. Very easy to use and the personalized program fits into
my busy schedule. The questionnaire to determine the appropriate program was short and easy to
complete. Most apps have an extensive questionnaire which will eventually make me want to delta the
app. A lot of educational videos and tips to stay healthy. The thing I did find a bit distracting was that
the videos need a smoother transition. The informational videos were chopped into pieces like
Instagram stories. I also think a “food journal” would be very helpful. I know personally it’s easy to make
positive changes if details such as portion amount, calories and nutrition intake is recorded. The
instructors in the videos were very diverse which was refreshing. I do suggest including men into the
programs to attract a male audience. I also think a reward system would also keep people interacting
with Zova . I use the apps that have a point system more frequently. Zova has a lot to offer and
after the trail period I will be purchasing a yearly membership. One of the best fitness and wellnes apps

Zova is a game changer

I have been a this app customer and believer for almost two years. this app offers the variety I need to constantly challenge my body and loose weight.
Zova provides a customized work out plan based on your fitness level. The classes challenge you enough to get a good sweat within the first 5 min.
The workout sessions typically last between 25-30 min, but it goes by fast with the motivational coach Vix and the awesome playlist to keep your body pumped.
I recommend the this app app to every fitness level out there. From extremely fit to extremely out of shape, this app will have the right work-out and push you at the comfort of any environment that you like.
I do my workouts at home and I also take them with me to the gym.
If you don’t want to pay for a gym membership, or you just want a motivating work out session without all the drama of a class (not enough space or worrying about making the class in time) Zova is for you.
I have lost 22 lbs and I hope to loose 10 more with the help of Zova and a healthier diet of course.
Zova also offers tips and tricks for healthy habits such as healthy nutrition, hydration and getting enough sleep.
Zova has sooo much to offer. They allow a trial period for very little money, so try it out for yourself! You will not regret it!!

Give this a try!

Everyone who's into getting a good workout should download this app and give it a shot. Zova has a variety of exercises that works out the full body. From arms to legs to abdomen - you name it! For those who are not sure which workout to start with, don’t worry. this app creates a weekly workout program for you to focus your days on so you aren’t left feeling overwhelmed with all the choices available. I thought the short video clips about nutrition and mental health are very helpful. I mean wellness isn’t just about the physical body but also the overall well-being of a person. Another perk that I find with using Zova is that it builds a music playlist to go along with your workouts! You also have the ability to manually track your exercise activity or connect to your Apple Health. So what are you waiting for?

Amazing!

I have tried several workout apps and this is by far my favorite out of all of them. I am willing to pay a little bit of money for an app that is easy to use, compatible with my Apple Watch, and has easy to follow workouts. Zova is a great value considering all that is provided within it! One of my favorite parts about Zova is that once you finish a workout you are able to rate it on its difficulty and then it critiques the workouts in order to best fit you. There are also an immense amount of workouts that are new each day so I never get tired of doing the same old routine. Zova will meet you where you are at, push you to be more fit, encourage you along the way, and is refreshingly easy to use. Zova has surpassed all of my expectations. INCREDIBLE!

Wonderful app!

I’m naturally a very outgoing person, except when it comes to the gym. The thought of going to the gym, having to learn how to use all of the machines and proper form for lifting is incredibly intimidating. I have always wanted to have a more toned body; not buff, by any means, but toned, and I was willing to put that off until I could find an alternative to a gym. One day, I was searching through Zova Store for some healthy lifestyle apps and stumbled upon this app. I did the 7-day free trial and never looked back. Zova has made it SO EASY to do full HIIT and cross training classes in the comfort of my own living room, with nothing more than my body weight. I love Zova, and I can see myself sticking to it until I reach my goal, and beyond!

Horrible Customer Service

I’m not one to write any reviews, but I was extremely disappointed in the customer service I received. I decided to give Zova a go during an advertised 2 week trial. Upon immediately downloading Zova , I was charged the full yearly membership without any preface. While sure, $87 is not a lot for a year of what looks like great workouts, I was not expecting to be charged without any agreement. I contacted their support email and received a default “we’ll get back to you in 24 hours.” Called Apple and had them refund me right after I received that email. Received my response from this app 24 hours later basically saying that it was my fault that I was charged bc I probably had downloaded Zova prior to this instance and that I should just call Apple for my refund.

So yeah, no help whatsoever and I was to blame for automatic charges upon downloading Zova .

Thanks for the inconvenience. You should consider adding in an option that asks for customer approval before charging them. Or at least the option to pick a subscription plan.

Like it so far but has bugs

So I did my research on which workout app I wanted to download and purchase the plan for. After looking at a ton of apps, I went with this app. I did the Cardio Sweat workout today, and I was very impressed with the layout UNTIL I noticed some bugs. So when you do a workout, there’s a video so you can see someone doing the workouts you are supposed to do. Unfortunately, one of the specific moves wouldn’t show up and the screen would be frozen. It happened every round. And then, in like the second session, it was so lagged the workouts were not in sync with Vix (the apps personal trainer who coaches you). I have excellent WiFi and service so I don’t think it’s me at all. After I did the workout, I did like a stretching session Zova has, and that one had zero issues. Just something I think you should be aware of!

So good!

Zova has given me so much motivation to workout. I’ve been following the z-program and everyday is getting easier. I am learning the moves and starting to feel confident doing them. My 6 y/o daughter has even started working out with me every morning and she is obtaining flexibility and strength.

I’ve tried so many different workout programs but this one allows rest days, which I strongly recommend to take! Walk or jog on the off days and rest on your day off. Your body needs that time to recover. The classes are beneficial to take and get a better understanding of how to live a healthy lifestyle as well. I’d give 12 stars if I could!!

One of my favorites!

When I first found this app I was in love and worked out almost every day, but sometimes we get discouraged and they make it so easy to get back in track and continue with your weekly work outs.

I love the fact that there’s always a work out perfect for me. Whether it’s how long I can work out for or how hard I want to push myself. There’s levels for everyone. Sometimes I don’t have time to work out but I can sure get in a 10 min work out and get it done.

It has mas great features and classes and many ways to get information from nutrition to health and a plus, being able to add music to my work out. Best of all they have a great price!

This is the Workout Routine You’ll Actually Stick With

I started working out with this app over two months ago and have yet to miss a week, which is saying something considering how many times I have tried to get on a consistent exercise routine in the last few years. The workouts are just long enough to break a sweat and short enough that they actually fit into my schedule. Best part is not having to think about it, scroll through all the options/videos, or design a “perfect” workout for the day - it’s already set up and waiting for me whenever I have time to workout.

By

It’s Awesome! Just a bit pricey

It’s so great! It rates its videos very well with difficulty then asks you to rate it after the workout so you can keep improving your strength bit by bit! It’s very easy to maneuver and easy to enter activity!

I do have an issue frequently while doing videos that if it’s something with reps instead of time it won’t count and it will move forward and I will have to stop to pause it! It’s not a huge deal just frustrating.

I just wish it didn’t cost so much or like the gyms if it were to not charge while everyone is in isolation for COVID-19 but a lot of people may be using this as something to pass time at home, I cannot workout at home because of my huge dog wanting to “join the fun” lol.

Go-to Quarantine Workout

I was looking for a workout app that I could use to get back in shape after a very complicated pregnancy. Due to COVID, gyms are closed, as are nearby trails. I came across this app and tried the free trial. I like the quick workouts since having a newborn leaves you little time to focus on yourself. I also like that it connects to my AppleWatch to make sure I get credit for my workouts.
Con: It takes awhile for the TV app to sync with my watch. Wish it would sync faster. Addition in-app purchases don’t come with the subscription.
Pro: workouts provide a good level of challenge! I see you “Beyoncé Hip Raises” 🙌🏾✊🏾

Lexi mill

I really enjoy Zova . I used it for a week and fell in love, so I got the yearly subscription. My strength and endurance have really improved after about three weeks, as well as my balance. It is perfect for a quick cardio boost or working on different muscle groups. If I could wave a wand and get more, I would love lightweight workouts in addition to all the bodyweight exercises they have to offer. I have already modified a few routines to add in small hand weights. Great results. Last year I was going to group gym workouts and spending about $12/visit. Needless to say I’m getting the same results with a fraction of the cost.

Almost 2-years and still loving it!

I love this app! My ability has varied over the last couple years, but this app has stayed as my daily go to. I like that I can choose my intensity based on how I feel for the day. Some days I use it on my Apple TV and some days on my phone. I can take it anywhere and that’s nice. I’ve been using the singles each day and I’m still not bored of it. I’m looking forward to trying one of the pre-built Longer̾ sessions soon. My family loves the workouts and stretching and everyone finds something that works for them. Thanks this app!

Extremely effective with some downsides

Bad
1) freezes often and there’s no way to prompt the video to restart or unfreeze
2) as far as I can tell, if you accidentally skip (“fast forward” on the touch screen essentially) an exercise you can’t go back
3) the emphasis on calories minimizes variety. LOTS of big lower body work and no modifications offered. My knees are killing me by the end; I wish there was more true whole-body emphasis and fewer explosive movements. Enough with the pop squats!
Good:
1)You work the whole time. Stretch and cool down are on your own, so the times you see reflect true “on” time
2) the trainer, Vix, is great. She keeps my form on track and gives excellent guidance. She’s the reason I’ve stuck with it despite having to modify on my own a lot.
3) I love that my main workouts are fed to me and I don’t have to poke around Zova . Just press play.
4) The extra workouts are very good as add ons.

If I found something structured this way with a trainer as good as Vix but with less lower body focus, I’d switch. As is it’s still a pretty good app.

Perfect Travel Workout Program

I love that this app has lots of variety so I never get bored or feel like I am repeating the same exercises over and over. I also love that I don’t need any equipment besides my phone so I can workout in a hotel room, my office or virtually anywhere. The sets are short, so it’s easy to find time for a quick 10 minute workout, which often turns into 20 or30 minutes. I can choose what I need at the moment; stretch, cardio, etc. This is hands down, the best exercise app I have used (and I’ve tried a lot). It’s totally worth the investment.

Innovative, Precise, and Effective

What a phenomenal idea!! The intimacy of having your personal trainer in the palm of your hand (or pocket) leaves no room for excuses about working out 🏋️‍♀️!!! this app is tailored to the life of the everyday person—you have time for the precise workouts that will help in the long run. The developers have done an amazing job surpassing time restraints and bringing the functionality of working out to the working human being!!!! Fabulous job, and please keep up the great work!!! Highly recommended—YOU HAVE TIME FOR THIS; it will be the highlight of your day—get moving!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

So far..

I started out just getting the free version and loved it so much I upgraded to the premium and love that it pushes me. Plus I like that it hooks up to my Apple Watch and my activity. The exercises challenge me and have built up strength and stuff I couldn’t do before I was able to do. The only changes I would make is the music volume tends to be too loud so I can’t hear when it tells me to switch and I don’t really care for the music that is in the videos. Other than that Zova has been well worth it.

Absolutely amazing

I started dieting a few months ago. I knew I needed to kick it up a notch but I was really out of shape, had no balance, no stamina. I wasn’t ready to join a gym (I’m still not but not sure if I even want to) so I figured I’d try Zova. I’ve never been happier!! It’s quick workouts that make a difference. I mirror it on my Apple TV put on my playlist and have a great time. I’m alone with no cares so if I fumble it’s ok. I am getting stronger every day and my son even does the workouts with me. Try it you won’t be disappointed
