Amazfit Watches for Bip, Pace Reviews

Well my Fitbit died after a million steps, so I thought I’d go the cheaper route….probably shouldn’t have. Watch looks nice, went to download/pair them and tells me no device found, put watch closer to cell phone. I laid it on top of my phone and nothing! I checked on AmazfitWatches and it’s trying to pair it to a Samsung phone I’ve never or has anyone in my house owed nothing but I iPhone. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and make sure it has a full charge and try again. And if it doesn’t down the road it goes. Not a happy camper right now, buy cheap you get what you paid for.

It’s a great step counter but that’s about it. The band detaches from the watch occasionally. It’s very easy to accidentally press the button against your wrist so I suggest removing and following action from pressing the button. And daylight savings just happened and it is actually very difficult to change the time on this thing! But it does it’s job as a step counter and a workout tracker so if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s worth the price.

I saw a few reviews saying AmazfitWatches could not connect to the device, but AmazfitWatches developers said they fixed it. But I just got my AmazFit device and just downloaded AmazfitWatches , newest version, and it doesn’t connect to the device. Even after I uninstalled and reinstalled. The tracker is fine, Bluetooth picks it up. But the tracker doesn’t do anything until I pair it with AmazfitWatches , and AmazfitWatches won’t connect, so it’s really just pointless.

AmazfitWatches can't find my Bip in order to connect to it even when the Bip is resting on the phone (that's as close as I can get it to the phone while attempting to connect). There are no settings on AmazfitWatches available (at least while trying to connect) and trying to get to the developer's site from the link here in the site results in an error 404.

Update after developer said they fixed AmazfitWatches .

Apart from that? It doesn’t offer anything more than other apps like MiFit or AmazTools. Less, really: Doesn’t sync with Health app, doesn’t let you adjust device settings or watch faces — just gives a view of recorded data.

And even that is ruined by intrusive ads in the free version. Removing ads isn’t a one-time fee but a monthly subscription.

I just got this watch and it is paired with my phone but it won’t show the clock or other apps on my watch. It came with no instructions on how to work it and AmazfitWatches only shows the three apps for it. Can’t contact anyone on how to get rid of the scanner bar n no where there is for a profile. I paid enough for this watch n it don’t do what it said it would do in the advertisement. So disappointed.

I have the watch paired with my phone but the watch says it’s not paired. The phone says it is. The watch is an hour ahead because it is still on Daylight Savings time and I can’t get it to match the time on my phone. Too frustrating to deal with. I’ll wait until next year when we go back to Daylight Savings time and then take out the watch and use it again.

I bought the Amazefit GTS for my granddaughter 4 months ago and it has been working quite well until the time change. I cannot seem to find any part of AmazfitWatches that lets me correct the time shown on the watch face.

Several of us have tried to connect this device to the phone. We have followed all the information we could find and the watch just keeps telling us there is an error and update is needed. We are unable to get anything to update. Love the watch, just would really lie to use it in its full capacity.

Connecting with AmazfitWatches is a struggle and daylight saving change is impossible. Basically it counts steps well but so does my phone.

My Bip worked great for a few months but suddenly quit sending heart rate info to my iPhone. After spending significant time trying to restore the data flow I deleted and reinstalled AmazfitWatches. I got it to send the heart rate but it has the worst adds. Practically ran ransomware making you close pop up screens to use your watch. I was going to buy my son a Bip for his BD but definitely WON’t buy another now.

I just got my AmazFit band 5 yesterday. It didn’t track my sleep. It says to keep it connected to my phone. How do I do that? And how do I get to my profile? Not user friendly at all. I will update after I’ve fiddled with it for a while.

Impossible to read the directions. When reading with a magnifying lens. Nothing works. You are unable to see if you’ve done the right maneuver.
I’ve had this since Thanksgiving and tried to set up several times since. A waste of time and money. DON’T BUY IT.
By the way, I have a great deal of computer experience.

The watch and app have changed my life.
Start and end my day with it.
I’ve lost 45 lbs in 4 months and my blood pressure is dramatically lower.👣👣

I’m having trouble navigating the watch itself and wasn’t sure how to hook up with AmazfitWatches to my iPhone
I wish they would tell you how to get it off Celsius though . I do like having my heart rate on there . Actually that’s what I bought it for

AmazfitWatches will not connect to my amazfit bip. I have checked the Bluetooth. I have turned my phone off and back on. I have had the watch as close as I can get it to my phone. I have checked for updates for AmazfitWatches as well as my phone and both are up to date. Please fix the problem so I can use your app!!!! Thank you kindly.

It has been difficult pairing and using the watch. I purchased it for my son. I was thinking it would work fine for the price for a teenage boy. He hated it, and could not get it set up with his phone properly. I thought if I took it I would be able to handle it better... it has been nothing but a headache 😒

AmazfitWatches seems to detect my watch, but when I try to connect, it fails every time.

Update: I have tried reinstalling AmazfitWatches without a difference. The only time I did actually get it to connect was after unpairing it and re-pairing to my watch. The content of AmazfitWatches seems lacking, so I probably won’t use it again.

There is no way to reset time from change over. Watch keeps saying that connection failed. It picks up health modes. New in December
Tried phone reboot, delete app and re download and Reboot. Phone asks to update app which it is

I just downloaded this because the mifit kept crashing now this one won’t sync. Just got back from a 40 minute walk the watch showing 4060 steps app showing 90. I love the watch but can’t seem to find an app that works well

Some reason on my watch it still has a picture telling me to connect my phone to my watch and I can’t see the time but it’s connected to AmazfitWatches . What do I do?

I got this watch because my other one broke, and when I got this watch I worked perfectly fine, when I say that it was only on one screen.

Then when I got the AmazFit Bip app it said it paired but I didn’t work I tried deleting it and reinstalled it and it still didn’t work don’t buy the AmazFit Bip watch.

I updated my watch and had to delete and reload AmazfitWatches several times, and, shut down my phone several times. And I still can’t get it to connect. I had no problems with the older version!

The first one I got from GeekBuying did not work at all—nothing on the display. I paid $26 to return it to China in April and received my replacement on June 22. I can now get the watch to pair on my iPhone 7+ but the only display on the watch is the pairing symbols. This is a big waste of $$$$ and huge frustration. TOTAL JUnk!

I installed AmazfitWatches and tried to connect the watch via bluetooth. The watch was just 5 cm away from my mobile. Still the watch was not able to connect to AmazfitWatches . I got the error “no device found”. Please fix.

Tried to change the time and my watch has locked up, it won’t pair to AmazfitWatches .. my watch is completely frozen... how disappointing.. I’ve done everything and NOTHING the support from India is totally unfathomable... move on guys don’t waste your money..

AmazfitWatches just doesn’t work. I’ve tried everything update reset, factory reset, etc and nothing happens. Can’t use app and can’t use watch. No control for the watch such as changing watch face etc. Useless junk.

I have a Bip. AmazfitWatches can find my watch but it will not connect. I've read many reviews and the developers answers were to delete and re-install AmazfitWatches , then try again. This does not work.
