Flic | Delete & Manage Photos Reviews

SO many garbage photos end up in my Photos app and Flic allows their quick and easy deletion. Turns a long arduous process into a simple task you can perform regularly. Definitely my most frequently used, favorite app!

Update: I LOVE FlicDeleteManagePhotos! I want to give them money. I am SO ANNOYED that I keep getting advertisements for the $2.99 Pro version... because I can't actually buy it! It says to click the calendar to upgrade, which I would love to do, but when I click on it, it's just the normal calendar function. Stop advertising to me if you won't actually take my money!!

Great app that gets the job done, but I have 2 suggestions:
1. Because the preview photo is a square, I almost always need to press on the photo to enlarge it to see if I need to delete it. I think if the preview photo is taller than a square (at least make it a rectangle), I will be able to waste time trying to enlarge the photo.
2. The calendar feature doesn’t load when I want it to. After playing with FlicDeleteManagePhotos for a while, I realized that FlicDeleteManagePhotos lets me switch months only after I finished swiping through the ENTIRE album for the month I’m working on... which is a lot. I’d like to be able to switch months at any point I want.

Other than that, I have no complaints: thank you so much

I have dreaded going through my photos for some cleaning because you have to select a pic, press delete, it asks you are you sure and yada yada takes 5 seconds per pic so multiply that by 5,000+ pics?? Yeah, not a good time.

FlicDeleteManagePhotos is amazing. You swipe left to delete and right to keep. It is so intuitive and fluid with how quickly you move on to the next pic it’s amazing(redundant I know).

It was a no brainer to buy the full version. I’m doing what would have taken me several hours in roughly half an hour. 5/5 thanks guys

I had FlicDeleteManagePhotos on my iPhone 6 while on vacation. I purchased the premium version and enjoyed the unlimited benefits. But when upgrading to a newer phone I lost the upgrade and now repeatedly receive notifications asking me to pay again. FlicDeleteManagePhotos went from being very useful to feeling like a ripoff in a very short period. It’s useful but not enough to put up with its “car salesmen” attitude. I’m going back to using the iPhone picture app instead.

I consider this to be an essential app. I take a lot of pictures on my iPhone and iPad I do a first pass on my images on the day that I take them and another on the first of each month. FlicDeleteManagePhotos is very clean and a pleasure to use. If you take iXXX pictures then you should run as fast as your little fingers can take you and get FlicDeleteManagePhotos.

So, I love that apps have a free version you can try before upgrading. Same thoughts here. Sorting photos is easy, takes very little time, and seems to help manage my camera roll. However, I have now tried, and tried, and TRIED to upgrade and it fails every. Single. Time. Been trying several times a day for the last week. Nope. Love FlicDeleteManagePhotos , would love to be able to get through more than 100 photos in 24 hours, but with no way to upgrade, no option to contact the developer or a support person, and no website to consult (in 2021, really?) I might have to delete it.

This is one of the best apps. It’s makes a hard job easy peasy. Whenever I’m sitting around waiting in the car or doctor’s office I just flic through images to keep my photos cleaned out. The $1.99 is worth it for the premium features.

I only gave it 4 stars because FlicDeleteManagePhotos info says that it supports Family Share but that in-app purchases are not supported.

Hmmm.....The premium features are an in-app purchase. So that means that only the Free version is available for Family Share. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of Family Share.

I know it’s only an extra $1.99 for my husband to have FlicDeleteManagePhotos too. But we wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how to do the Family Share and why it wasn’t working. They should be more transparent and they just say it doesn’t support Family Share.

I started with the free version. When I tried to select something other than the current month, I got an error message that I needed to upgrade for this feature. $1.99 later, FlicDeleteManagePhotos would only look at the most recent 9 months. I need to select several earlier months but don't see a way. I bought FlicDeleteManagePhotos to delete older photos from a previous phone and can't select those months so don't know if that will work or not. For recent photos though, I don't think it adds any value over the Apple Photo app. Pretty much a waste of money.

As far as I'm concerned, FlicDeleteManagePhotos is essential. Beyond essential. The standard way of deleting pictures on your phone is cumbersome and requires too many button presses to mark for deletion.

FlicDeleteManagePhotos has saved me hours of time every single month and is completely worth every penny.

I have MANY duplicates on my phone, and FlicDeleteManagePhotos shows me all of my photos in an easy, organized way! I know you may not want to get the premium version, but I think it’s well worth it so you can go through your entire camera roll and get all of the gunk out! Honestly FlicDeleteManagePhotos has become a new favorite of mine!

I have pictures on my phone with dates back to 2001. Flic doesn’t see pictures on my phone with dates before 2012.

I have pictures on my phone that I can’t delete from within “Photos.” I don’t know why I’m not able to delete these pictures. Flic doesn’t see these pictures, so I still can’t delete them.

With pictures I can see, Flic works fine.

Tried FlicDeleteManagePhotos in the free version. I really liked it and decided to upgrade. Every time I click “upgrade” it says “upgrade failed”. Tried multiple times after restarting my phone as well as uninstalling and reinstalling app. I went to FlicDeleteManagePhotos help section. It takes you to a generic site with no app help whatsoever. Unfortunate because I had high hopes. Definitely don’t want to pay for an app that I can’t receive support for.

I love how easy it is to remove photos from your phone, and that it reminds you to do it at the beginning of each month.

Updated review: since I’m using the free version all I can do now is continue to keep 100 I’ve already decided to keep. So now it’s worthless. I assume this is not a glitch since other reviews from months and months ago say the same.

I find that I have to restart my phone to get FlicDeleteManagePhotos to load again each day. (I’m using the free version and so there is a daily limit.) So far I’ve been cheap enough to do this to get the next day to re-load, since I’m loving clearing unwanted photos.

I really love FlicDeleteManagePhotos and have been trying to upgrade to premium since I got it. Every time it says upgrade failed. Without the upgrade, it goes back to the beginning of my camera roll every day so I have to spend the time sorting through the photos I’ve already sorted through.

FlicDeleteManagePhotos is great! I had so much extra photos I didn't need but didn't want to get rid of them. FlicDeleteManagePhotos made it a lot easier to get rid of photos to save more space. The only thing I would critique is the price. After 100 photos have been deleted, you have to pay $1.99, or you could wait till tomorrow. Other then that, it's a great app!

I really like FlicDeleteManagePhotos and it makes it much easier to go through my photos, but I wish there was not a 100 photo limit each day, I understand that having people buy things like more daily photos and stuff is how FlicDeleteManagePhotos creators make money, but I wish it was a bit bigger, like 500 or even 250 photos a day.

FlicDeleteManagePhotos actually deleted my whole photo library. It did one month with me, then stopped. When I asked to do more, it began going over the present month a second time. I figured the software was working as programmed, but it wasn't very useful unless it would go through my whole library, so I deleted FlicDeleteManagePhotos .

Then when I opened my photo library, ALL the photos from the previous months are gone. They weren't even in my 'deleted photos' folder. Just gone.

FlicDeleteManagePhotos is really useful but if you’re broke like me and don’t wanna buy premium u can only delete maximum 100 pictures like I deleted 100 in 3 minutes and I have to come back tmrw like it’s rlly good and useful but if u don’t wanna pay you gotta wait 🤠 it’s still useful and worth it I would buy it but ur sis ain’t gon go throwing cash everywhere

I loved the idea of FlicDeleteManagePhotos and bought the premium version. Unfortunately it always opens to the same pictures I’ve already swiped through and can’t access any other pictures. I’ve tried looking for a way to contact the developer for some support and can’t find that. Total waste of money.

This is fast and easy... That's good in itself, and has an unexpected bonus: i find myself using odd moments to clean up my photo folder

Kind of annoying that you have to pay for it but still some what user friendly without premium membership (I also loved that it was not a subscription) honestly though great app totally helped me declutter my phone
