I’m enjoying ALPACA so far and it’s helping me delete photos but 90% of the time the photos in ALPACA look blurry, as if they aren’t loading, so I can’t tell which ones I want to delete because they are hard to see. It’s like some of my photos don’t load and some do. If that wasn’t an issue I’d say everything was perfect.

The only downside to ALPACA is that when you tap on a cluster of photos, the first one is clear, and the others are blurry. I wish that would get fixed so I could see what I actually want to delete. If that could be fixed, 5 stars, definitely!
Other than that, it’s fantastic!!!!
It syncs straight to your photos so when you delete pictures, it goes to your recently deleted. I had 20,000 photos and I was rlly overwhelmed. This has helped tremendously! I have deleted almost 600 in like 5 mins.

ALPACA has been great for helping me keep my photos organized! I take lots of takes of the same item all of them time and this helps me delete the ones I don’t care about conveniently and without having to manage my photo backlog myself. The only thing I wish I could add is a way to get ALPACA to restart in a way. There are pictures from a year ago where in the moment I said, “I want both of these,” but now I don’t care and I just want to be able to review them again.

this app, It’s an amazing app and I recommend you download. It’s mostly free and it’s a very simple and easy way to organize your photos and find easy ways to delete unwanted photos. But I have one suggestion maybe it would be nice if you could name each category of photo. For example “Trip To Florida “ or “ Pictures With My Dog”. It would be more organized. But I loved ALPACA it’s pretty good.

I’ve been wanting to go through my photos and delete the ones I don’t need for a while. ALPACA helped me delete 800+ photos the first few times I used it (about 10 minutes each time)

I also recognize my photos when I look through my photo gallery instead of vaguely remembering them. Because you need to decide which photos to keep, every time you look at them in the gallery it actually brings you joy to look at them. Recommending this to everyone that takes a lot of photos.

I’m planning to be done sorting mine within a few weeks which is so quick compared to my “when am I ever going to go through my photos” plan I had before I found ALPACA.

I get so much anxiety from all the photos that I’ve saved and now that I’m transferring them to another iPad I just wanna get rid of all the stuff I don’t need before doing so this was so quick and I got rid of thousands of pictures Way quicker than I would’ve been able to do on my own

Just getting started and a review was required to unlock additional features. However, in less than 10 minutes, I can see that will potentially be huge time savings in cleaning up the many near duplicates in my photo library and I have tons! Will update here later.

My photos were out of control! I had over 18,000 pics and desperately needed to go through them, and weed out the ones I didn’t want or need, but could never find the time. ALPACA makes it so quick and painless that I am finally getting around to the task and making great progress. Thank you!

I love the concept of selecting only the photos you'd like to KEEP, rather than having to select every single you want gone (there are usually more of these for me). I also like the way it organizes the photos into similar groups/repeat photos, but I wish there was a way to broaden the amount similarity or lessen it. Some of my groups of photos only have 3 pictures, and i'm trying to clear a phone with 6000. If I could choose a setting that had less similarity between the photos, I could sort through a larger album more quickly and avoid clicking out and starting to sort a new album.

Overall, I love ALPACA . Just one suggestion that might help others with mass amounts of photos :)

So many of these apps require premium membership or a fee to actually use ALPACA to delete pictures (ie. Gemini app). ALPACA runs quickly and efficiently! Loving it to clean up my 12,000 photos on my phone 😳
No complaints here! My search for this type of app is over!

i'm BIG on organization and i download so many things so it's hard for me to stay organized :( bUt with ALPACA it's super easy and fast!! it groups together similar images and you can delete them all at one time or choose which ones you want to keep!! it's just a really great app overall 💓

If you’re like me, you take 20 of the exact same picture to get the perfect one. ALPACA makes it SO easy to go through, choose your favorite(s) and delete the rest. Wish I would have gotten this sooner. It tells you when you’ve deleted your first 100 and mine was within 5 minutes. I love ALPACA.

I do enjoy ALPACA , and I'm finding it to be extremely useful however they require you to rate ALPACA five stars in order to unlock all of the features of ALPACA . They request this via constant in-app push notifications that start after using ALPACA for just a few moments. They're compromising the integrity of ALPACA Store by using a method to alter their ratings, which is pathetic.

Makes it easy to delete photos you didn’t realize existed quickly and easily. It helps compare a group of same or similar photos. Keep the best delete the rest. I take slot of photos of things just for memory like a piece of equipment or a schedule only to need for a short time but after a while those add up. Now I can go back and quickly delete unneeded photos. And see that I am keeping ones I really want.

I downloaded 20+ photo review and management apps while working in improving my photo workflow. This was one of two that I kept and continue to use.

I take around 200 photos each day with many of them being various angles and distances of the same thing. At the end of the week, I choose 10-20 to create reports, illustrations and diagrams. The rest get deleted.

this app makes this process VERY simple, quick, and efficient.

This this app app is great! No more searching through your phone for photos you want to delete, no more deleting one by one! ALPACA groups all your similar photos together, and you mark the ones you want to keep, and ALPACA deletes all the rest. But don't worry, if you want your pictures back, go to your Photos Albums to Recently Deleted and you can retrieve them:) I've cleared more than 200 megabytes of space in a short amount of time! I recommend ALPACA!

Absolutely perfect!! I was a little hesitant when a review mentioned having to select each picture 1 by 1, having 7000+ picture that seems super daunting, but ALPACA has been updated since that review & the deleting process is so easy & efficient I’m so relieved! My storage was full and now I’m making so much space & actually seeing old pictures ive been hoarding over the last couple years 😂😂

Fast- easy- fun- works well- no ads

I’ve been looking for a duplicate photo finder app for so long! All the apps I’ve tried take forever to load my pictures- they restart from scratch- they quit- they don’t allow you to compare the pictures from high res- etc

THIS IS THE BEST APP!

-It sorts pictures out and groups them together
-It’s super quick and organized
-It will let you know every hundred pictures that you erase and congratulate you
-You can leave ALPACA and when you come back it takes zero time to load- everything is ready to go

It’s not perfect in the sense that you don’t know if it’s finding duplicates or similar photos but what’s GOOD and different than other “similar photo finder” apps is that you can open the picture and compare the similar photos easily and choose which you would like to keep.

This has been a major game changer and deserves recognition

Sure, maybe you want to put your photos in the cloud, or maybe you already have Dropbox or Google Photos and don’t want to fall victim to another Apple upsell. Truth is that most of our photos are either garbage or we already sent them via text or posted another way. So deleting photos becomes more important. Apple doesn’t want to make it easier (because then they have to work harder to upsell you to their cloud photos), so third party apps have to come along to make our lives easier. ALPACA does just that...deleting photos is fast, easy and even a little cathartic.

I don’t have that many pictures but I do get many sent to me. Sometimes I can’t even remember which ones I already have. This really helps me to find the same photos I saved at different times to help free up space. It even lets you see each individual picture up close before you delete them.

Also after you get he hang of it, makes deleting so much easier. So incredibly organized.
