Flickplay Reviews

Flickplay is not appropriate for young children. It allows them to post videos with no parental restrictions and allows strangers to comment on them. Once you post the video there is no way of taking it down. Clicking the 👉 like they say does not work. Very risky app and many suspicious aspects about it and the company that owns it. DO NOT approve Flickplay for your child!!!!

The onboarding of this “game” is SUPER heavy handed. First, there’s an expensive onboarding video of fake content that you can’t skip before you do anything. The video moves too fast to even explain anything. Then, before you can even get past the first screen you have to give access to your camera & microphone, share your location, and turn on push notifications. Why would I do this? I don’t even know what Flickplay does yet. Then, Flickplay forces you to start creating a video. Again, I don’t know what Flickplay does or where the video will be shown, why would I do this. Flickplay doesn’t even allow you to skip or close this either. I just deleted Flickplay .

Cool concept. Poor execution. Not user friendly. Why do I have to make a video after collecting something? My app is stuck on loading screen even after closing and reopening.
Everything loads slow. Poor navigation.
Honestly, probably the worst experience I've ever had with an app. I wish I could leave two zero-star reviews. It's that bad.

The premise is pretty interesting, but I’m mostly disappointed by the inability to hunt for collectibles in the real world. looking at the map, thus far only LA and NYC have anything to collect without outright purchasing via in-game currency (so Ohio is a no-go).

As a platform that’s essentially TikTok meets Pokémon-as-NFTs Go, I’m confused why the collectibles aren’t procedurally/randomly generated across the map, instead of individually selected spots for people privileged to live in the two major cultural hubs of the states—further disadvantaging the majority of potential users from the jump.

Seriously. I v used snapchat and tiktok. They have good cameras. But for the AR filters, I would say most of the ARs in this app beat them. So happy that I find Flickplay!!

Flickplay is so much fun! Very different to everything else. Beautiful designed and very entertaining.

Flickplay is so creative and fun , my son love to play with all the different filters (well not just my son me too lol ) ... totally recommend it

The selling feature is deactivated for “Covid-19 reasons” but I’m sure this’ll be amazing once the families content actually is a thing.

Fun to collect to coins through other’s feeds and there are cool AR filters. Their ar filters are very high quality. Very impressed😳

I haven’t seen any modern social media apps that use AR as well as this app. I’m glad a company is finally doing this right!

I love Flickplay SO much!! Whenever I find a cute spot - I like to open Flickplay and use the filters! You should definitely get it!

Wow... impressed with the UX for a new app. I can see Flickplay taking it to the next level in so many ways with geo-targeting, promotions and places to go to, and I can’t wait that this pandemic is over to test out!!!!! I’m a believer :-)

Such an innovative concept for a new social app. They have a “Pokémon go” map type feature that will likely be activated after stay-at-home orders are lifted. And we can unlock rewards too! Love this

I find it very interesting, it can make the tour of the city more fun .. it would be great that many local businesses such as restaurants, museums, art galleries had it it would be interesting to know new places through Flickplay

Very different to other social apps. Can’t stop playing with the game. Once the city game is active will be suuuper fun to discover new spots in different cities. The AR experiences are very immersive and Flickplay is constantly getting better. Very excited I discovered Flickplay .

I love Flickplay it’s really good, and is in some ways better than other social media stuff. The way to make this the best one out there is to be able to make videos without filters and you can pick songs and can add your own text and that stuff.

I LOVE Flickplay!! But, I wish that you could go love to meet people and be able to upload videos and be able to write text and I wish we could have unlimited pauses when we make videos! But either than that it is super fun!!!
