I have another bank account which I used thumbprint before and now facial ID on my phones. Macatawa always has unexpected problems, the facial ID isn’t working now and I’ve had to change my password so many times. My other bank account which is a well known big bank, I never run into this. It’s a pain.

They changed their transfer system to Bill pay which is a huge mistake. I hate waiting 2 weeks for a simple bank transfer. It takes at least a week for the transaction to get accepted and then it has to go through a slow Ach which is taking forever too.
I’m considering switching banks as all my money is unavailable now that it has to get tied up for a whole pay period. Ridiculous.

Update. They don’t tell you to use their main website to transfer under Bill pay. It’s still slower, but it’s 4-5 days verses 2 weeks.

Used to get updated information on balance alerts as soon as it happened. Now it’s just in the morning. Maybe there’s a setting for this but I can’t find one. I need to know as soon as it goes in the red not when it’s too late.

MacatawaBank itself is not bad but the login process still needs improvement. iOS requires finding your password in keychain rather than using Face ID directly. They should be using the full capability of the OS to make the user experience as good as possible.

I wish you could view your bill in bill pay. Right now I have to get my laptop out to see my bills on MacatawaBank that need to be paid.

This supposed update did nothing more than put a couple of extra steps in the bill pay process. I have found no advantage to it.

Easy to use and most information is available for viewing.

I use it several times a day. I love it but did like when I could just check my balance w/o signing in.

Love your app !! It is so easy to maneuver and gives you the ease to look at your transactions with the touch of your screen. Please don’t change a thing !! No matter what the so called experts tell you, change is not always necessary. There’s an old adage that says: “ If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it “

Easy to use easy to find all the info I need and transfer between accounts.

It a good thing. Nice and convenient.
Pay Bills anytime or look up balance, transfer funds.

I like the layout and ease of use.

Also like the running balance that makes it easier to reconcile with Quicken.

Never had any issues with MacatawaBank! I love it’s simplicity and it gives me access to everything I need involving my bank accounts!

I love the mobile banking apps that Macatawa bank has. Unfortunately there is a glitch with the new software and it won't let me in. Says I'm locked out. However when I log in on the website it lets me in no problem. So called the service center and had them rest it. Still the same problem. I have faith that they will get it fixed. It worked great before. Hopefully they'll get it fixed in the next update
