When I Used it

2022-05-27

I have not used Cheatsheet for a long time because I was concerned about privacy. I might reconsider but I am not sure. It’s like putting my social security number in Cheatsheet . Not something anyone should ever do.
I’m sure that the developers would not go sneaking around for my data. But it’s just the idea of having my personal information in an app like this. So if and when I decide to reinstall it, I will try to make sure that I don’t add anything too personal.
What else do we consumers have to worry about?

Great concept but paid version doesn’t work

2022-06-28

Concept is great but they make me purchase the premium feature so that it sync with watch still with paid version the sync is not working waste of money for sure
Kudos to developers for faster response !!!

As I did more research i was able to sync ( force sync with apple watch
After it will be able to auto sync i will update the review back

Addictive

2022-07-29

I downloaded Cheatsheets and was addicted immediately. Apple should buy Cheatsheets and incorporate it into iOS. Ability to add icons to notes is very useful. It’s the only useable notes app for the watch, and one of the most useful apps for the watch.

If watch and phone don’t sync, try opening both apps on watch and phone at the same time. I’ve had this happen with other watch apps too.

FYI, a force-press on the watch is a slightly harder touch held for a second or two. Wish you could create a new sheet with a regular press. Also, the “hide in complications” button on the watch shows up under my pressing finger, which leads to inadvertently hiding the note in complications. Future functionality could include reminds/alarms.

I’m unclear what’s in the paid app vs free app, other than removing ads.

Even with these minor suggestions, Cheatsheet is simple and terrific.

Simple! Easy as it gets.

I love Cheatsheet. I can write a quick note to myself in a tap or two. The true joy of this app are the complications on the watch. I can put a todo without a date or time, in this app on the phone, and it instantly shows in the phone widget, AND the watch face. I like this because it keeps the first cheat sheet item in front of me all the time on the watch without nagging me, irritating me, or getting lost in a slew of calendar events and reminders. And when I tap on the complication it pulls up the watch version on the watch and shows me all my cheats. The only issue I have ever had with it is the Red icons. I dunno why, but the red has bugged me for a long time. Selection of color would be more interesting. Ok that’s been changed, and now there’s color choices; yay! thank you!!

you can say “it can be better” about everything

2022-10-01

But this is still super handy! Here is a copy and paste of the text I sent my daughter. After sending it, I thought, hmmm I need to leave a

Did you wonder if your tightwad mom would ever spend money on an app? I did yesterday. Yep. $2.99 for this task list. It sounds really silly, I know. I have far “better” ones I got free or came native. But this one I love. It’s editable in the widget! Simple and easy.

Suggestion - Images

2022-11-01

Would it be possible to attach images in future iterations of Cheatsheet and that said images can be seen as thumbnails in the widgets wherein in thumbnail size can be adjusted via settings in Cheatsheet ?

Would be willing to pay as an upgrade feature if it will help in future sustainability of Cheatsheet .

New and improved - even better now

2022-12-03

It’s similar to the convenience of having post it notes on the wall. Except you can take that wall wherever you go. I love this.

When I first got it it didn’t have enough features to keep me using it but I’m back to it now and I’m surprised at how much it’s improved.

Great product… Perfect name

2023-01-03

this app is a great product that has saved time and embarrassment. I first used it as a scratchpad but I quickly appreciated its usefulness as my memory-assist (call it "off-line storage").
I use it to capture obscure information that I might want to recall quickly. Examples are formulas for calculating electrical current, dew-point, mm-to-inch conversions, and even neighbors' names.
this app is NOT a place to store sensitive passwords as the security isn't designed for that purpose.
The very-affordable upgrade to this app Pro has given me additional ways to organize and rapidly retrieve things that would otherwise be lost in the moment.
Great product with real productivity advantages!

Excellent App and Customer Service

2023-02-04

Cheatsheet is a much better alternative to the native note app on Apple devices. There are many great features.
More important than any of that is the customer service. I had a situation and contacted support. Within an hour or so and until we solved it, Adam worked with me to figure it out. That kind of service is priceless.

Fantastic Watch App

2023-03-08

Sync’s seamlessly across all devices. Complications and watch layout are excellent and why I got Cheatsheet. Great for making notes to yourself on the go, or for having information you need (but always forget!) to hand, literally! Had a query with the team and got an instant personal response. Highly recommended.

Task Management App

2023-04-06

Maybe one recommendation, instead of images add icon support within the text -
Simple note taking on the iPad helps me keep track of daily thoughts and goals, not just passwords. All in a beautiful user interface and design. Then I can sync with other my devices. Then I can email, text, print hard copy of share any number of ways. Thanks.

Exactly what I needed

2023-05-08

Cheatsheet is perfect for what I needed. I use it as a todo list throughout the day Im scatterbrained so easier for me to just make a chronological list in my phone then delete the tasks on my watch as I go throughout the day. Much easier than fumbling with notes or trying to add an event in the calendar. It also shows the next cheat or whatever you want on the watch face.

Great App!

2023-06-08

I’ve used it for quite sometime and really like the new features for ios14. I am having a small problem syncing all items as I use it on my Mac, iPhone and watch and add items while using each. It usually leaves one item off when syncing. Since I usually have 8-10 items, not a big deal and easy to add the other as needed. Maybe fixed later?

must-have app!

2023-07-10

this app has had a permanent home on all of my iOS devices since 2014. It’s the perfect place to jot down small things to look up or remember, and I’m thrilled that the latest update added Siri support.

However, adding notes to this app with Siri does not work for me. Asking Siri to “add X to this app” results in Siri creating a new Reminders list called this app rather than adding it to Cheatsheet . I got Siri to successfully add something to this app one time by accident when she misheard me.

This app has been a productivity hero for me

2023-08-10

Love having the iCloud sync between all devices! I’ve tried several other options and this is the only one that ticks all the boxes. Simple, lightweight, and lightning fast dev team for when any issues or questions may come up. It’s only been a month or so and Cheatsheet is already becoming one of my most useful in terms of keeping my productivity in check :)

Great tool for a specific purpose!

2023-09-11

I love Cheatsheet. It’s useful on my phone for storing bits of memory lint that don’t need 1Password’s protection. It also makes my Apple Watch more useful, so I avoid even the phone’s low friction when recalling those text items. The icon labels are a neat idea, too. Possible improvements (but not major problems): offer different color cheat icons; have a setting to turn OFF the auto-suggestions for calling/texting text strings, since many of those are false positives.

Excellent memory aid . My favorite app

2023-10-13

I do not use this app for every day notes and reminders. I use it for peoples names, meds, etc. that I need to remember infrequently. This watch app comes in handy. I have a bike store that I go to two or three times a year. I can’t remember the four guys names. I always check my this app app and there are their names. When the doctors office asks what meds I’m taking, I keep them there too. Numerous other uses. I can add all my data on all my IOS devices and they sync with my watch.

So versatile

2023-11-13

I bought this for the widget and keyboard functionality. I use it all the time. I travel a lot so I have a note with my room number.. always one swipe away. I have URLs for software testing. Great! Then I got an Apple Watch and tried several simple note programs. None beat this app. Did you know you can control if a cheat appears on the widget... or on a complication. You can. The only features that are not there (yet) is scribble functionality for Apple Watch and an option to not show a cheat at all on the watch. Otherwise Cheatsheet is such a productivity boost. Live it.

Great App

2023-12-15

I use Cheatsheet to keep track of everything. I use it so I don’t have to remember everything.

I recently had trouble with Cheatsheet crashing. I reached out to the developer and he responded quickly and had me update my iOS from 13.4 to 13.4.1 and it resolved my issue. Yes, I should not have been running and beta and yes I should have checked to see if there was an iOS update, but my point is he response was quick and very helpful.

I have been using Cheatsheet quite a while now. I am sure you will find it as useful as I do. I have the desktop app on my MacBook as well. Makes for a great experience.

What A Great App

2024-01-15

Cheatsheet does exactly with I want. I have the Apple Watch 3 which has limited watch faces. I like the modular watch face and use Cheatsheets for the middle complication. It displays 3 cheats directly on the watch. I use it to prioritize my do to items to display my top 3 items. That way I don’t need to go to my phone to review my list. I just look at my watch and bam it’s there! Love Cheatsheet and for 1.99 it’s a steal! I bought it right on the spot!

Review for Cheatsheet

2024-12-16

When I was young I always laughed at my mom for making list after list....not to be mean spirited but because she was so brilliant I was sure she never needed a list for anything. But as I got older my sticky notes turned into note cards to full blown notebook! Thanks mom for a lesson well learned!!! Love you and miss you and your wisdom everyday ♥️

Game changer!

2024-12-16

It’s Amazing Now the fact Cheatsheet allows integration with your iOS keyboard to easily share WiFi password, or anything you have saved via this app. Dark mode is also helpful for the times your using Cheatsheet when it’s dark out. I use Cheatsheet everyday using voice detection to joint down my locker for gym and work and to save software keys etc.

Worth MORE than $4.99 Makes an Apple Watch worth while!

2024-12-16

I downloaded and paid the small price for the pro version, what a terrific app. I made a this app for each of my livestock pastures and can easily update and append all of my calving and vaccinations records ON MY WATCH. Also, it is all with cloud sync so it is updated on my iPhone and iPad also. The possibilities are numerous on what you might use it for. The compilations for the infograph and infograph modular are great also. Thanks developers!

Fantastic app

2024-12-16

A no non-sense app to capture useful tidbits of u formation that you need to remember, but don’t need to ‘schedule’.

I use the widget to quickly list things I need to do or buy. It’s helped me avoid ‘what was that thing I needed to buy’ during Target runs. Or, what was that coffee so and so liked? On the list.

Useful, simple, worth it.
