My wife an I were visiting Vegas and thought this would be the best way to manage bus rides/passes. That was a mistake.
In addition to the annoyance of having to reactivate the passes each time as another reviewer mentions, rideRTC stole some money!
We bought (2) 3-day passes, but after 1.5 days it said the passes were not longer active. They appeared in my "history", but no longer usable. I thought this should be a easy fix since the history clearly showed the date purchased & activated, that they were indeed 3-day passes, and it was still clearly within that time period (by 36 hours).
Called the RTC, and after a 10 mi use wait, the tech was nice but not able to help. She said she discussed with her supervisor, and that she had to pass it on to him. I explained I was only in town for a short time, and wanted to use the passes' she told me they would call me back shortly.
After hanging up and waiting 15 minutes, I emailed them (which is the apps version of "help"), attached a screen shot, included my assigned case number from the tech, and briefly explained again.
A week later; still no call or email. I wound up using two cabs ($40) because I wasn't going to donate more money to the RTC.
For a State and City that relies so heavily on tourism (8% sales tax plus extra hotel taxes) this is not a good way to treat people!
Lost roughly $30 dollars in rideRTC .
Buyer BEWARE.
