For a company that provides a customer service tool, they provide horrible customer service themselves.

I recently contacted them to make a simple change to our account, but it ended up taking three weeks and a dozen emails and chat sessions. Their chat agents seem to be powerless to do anything, and emails to tech support are ignored.

Will be looking for a different chat provider because I'm not about to spend hundreds of dollars per month for zero support when we need it.

The developers of Tawkto clearly are incapable of developing a basic live chat app, Tawkto constantly erases everything you are typing in the middle of chats while attempting to engage with customers, interrupting you with “loading chat data...”. Tawkto will cause your business a loss of profit. Do not use it. On iOS at least, it is NOT worth using.

Until I get notifications on my phone Tawkto is useless. I’ve missed out on sooooo many sales because despite having notifications turned on, I never and I mean never get notified. I casually check it and when I do I can only see the potential earnings that I lost

Did you know your chat closes when someone locks their phone?

Also, chat history for each user based on zip address would be logical but we don’t see that. In fact, someone resumes convo with us and we don’t even know we’ve been talking to them already in another window. Appears as a new chat for us.

Otherwise nice that it’s not server side, not heavy any all on the site, and loads every time.
Lots of great features also.

I gave it 2 stars because you can have all the bells and whistles you want but if the CORE FUNCTIONALITY DOESN’T WORK AS EXPECTED then who’s going to bother upgrading later on?

The problem with this app's iOS agent app we have been having is sometimes it will log out and not give any indication. This means you'll just not receive chat notifications and not realize you are missing messages from customers!! Tawkto should at least have a notification when it gets logged out alerting you to open it and log back in. But there is no such alert :(

Doesn’t show all live visitors until they have left the website. It also doesn’t notify when there’s a visitor on the website. It only works sometimes

This is a great app for a great service. But it always signs me out without any notice, which means customers on the site then don’t have access to the chat functionality. WHY does this keep happening?!

It keep logging me out and asking for update! The hard part is you never know when app is logged you out

Tawkto worked perfectly till the new update. Too many glitches. Hours after a user leaves website, it stills shows them on active chat no matter how many times you close the chat or leave it. Same issue with visitors.
Revert to older version, it worked much better.

In the past Tawkto has worked extremely well for my site. However, recently it stopped sending me phone notifications and randomly logging me out. If not for a wave of angry emails I wouldn’t have identified the problem.

Notifications are delayed until the visitor closes the chat!!
And for several updates this issue persists and no fix is provided no matter how many times reported.
Dark mode is mandatory.

I couldn't login into Tawkto . I don't know what happened. But, I can login on web browser that is funny and annoying at the same time. Yes, I check email and password and I am pretty sure it's a bug.

However, it's a great application I hope you guys add more features in the future.

The only problem is is Tawkto is just basic compared to the interface online sometimes it freezes and you have to close Tawkto and then open it back up also some of the notifications you’re not being the phone but it definitely has potential

So far so happy with Tawkto /integration options. I really like being able to swap properties within Tawkto / website. I hope to have a fully functional business soon, that will allow me to tap into the 1.00$ an hour/ service offered. Starting out I may have to shorten the hours but we’ll see. This is something I randomly came across and is pretty amazing. I think it’s worth it if you’re going to be in business. Haven’t used support yet, but I think they will be great also.

My team use your everyday and we love what the development team has created. I have but two wishes that for me would make it perfect.

1) Direct messages need a way to send attachments (pictures or documents) I would pay for that feature.

2.) when I am messaging I want to enter and it send my text not have to hit an addition button while I am on Tawkto on my phone or iPad.

Keep up the great work and hopefully If anyone ever reads this they can add this to the next update.

Hope to provide Chinese

Shows visitors when there is no visitors. For example Shows I have 5 visitors but shows no activity or pages viewed. This seems to be happening since the last update.

The best app out there for chatting. It’s very good and very accurate. It also helps to know where traffics are coming from. This is the best of the best, I’m very satisfied.

Really unpredictable chat app. I appreciate to your all guys. I think Tawk app will be better in future. Thanks
