I really wanted PaintingContractorEstimates to work and to do what it says it will. I don’t mind the rough look and feel of apps as long as they can at least do the basics of what they claim they will do. PaintingContractorEstimates is a mess and definitely one to avoid, especially if you have an iPhone X. Even if PaintingContractorEstimates was free it wouldn’t be worth it because of the time you will spend figuring out that it really is that bad. I feel like I should send the developer a bill for my time they wasted. I kept hoping that once things were setup it would get better, but it doesn’t.

No help was asked for because my private email complaint had nothing to do with understanding PaintingContractorEstimates . PaintingContractorEstimates is garbage. After spending half a work day pouring through PaintingContractorEstimates , clicking every setting, button, going through help support, etc. to try to produce a half way ok estimate, I was fed up. PaintingContractorEstimates IS NOT FORMATTED correctly for the iPhone X series. The top menu gets jumbled at points and at certain sections you have to force close PaintingContractorEstimates to get out of an un-clickable situation. Trying to say that this is the only app on the market that thousands have downloaded does not mean it works well or is fully functional. Trying to find out why customers are frustrated and fix the bugs you have are the right steps. Responding by inferring that customers with the bad reviews are from those that are incompetent or lazy is bad form. Also, using a customers name in a response on reviews is additionally inconsiderate.

Literally just had two years of clients, projects, labor list, materials, All estimates deleted, with the update. PaintingContractorEstimates wouldn’t work, when I tried accessing previous estimates it would just exit out of PaintingContractorEstimates . I’ve tried contacting the customer service number, and email. With zero response. Take in mind I paid for PaintingContractorEstimates. Even now, PaintingContractorEstimates doesn’t work. It won’t let you do estimates, or use PaintingContractorEstimates . It will just exit out when you try. I’d avoid PaintingContractorEstimates. And any other apps under Jzmobil!

We’ve tried to use some other programs and ended up spending more time than the effort was worth. Painting Contractor lets you estimate each job by phase with realistic numbers for labor and materials. The estimate is detailed enough to show the customer that it based on room sizes, but easy enough me to use so that I’m not wasting time. They can sign off right on my iPad and an invoice can instantly be produced when the job is done. Very well thought out!

There is most definitely a learning curve here for some of the more sophisticated estimating techniques. I watched the movies, tried a few estimates and still had questions so I called the help desk. They were responsive, really understand how PaintingContractorEstimates works and were able to provide a few recommendation on how to best handle what I was trying to do. Now, PaintingContractorEstimates is second nature and really helping me do better estimates and invoices. We use it on several iPhones and iPads now.

Have been using PaintingContractorEstimates for 4 years now. The latest update makes PaintingContractorEstimates better in landscape mode on my iPhone 11 Pro. Very useful to add full descriptions. Also, added the Scheduler InApp to schedule our work. Super! Customer service responds immediately and is very helpful.

This is a good app for tracking calls and doing estimates. It's straighforward and fast. I was able to figure it out, at lease the basics, without a big learning curve. I am sure there a lot of other features that I will pick up over time. thanks for the help!

I’ve always used the SWAG method to estimate. It has been interesting to use different methods to calculate an estimate. Square feet, surface area..I had no idea. Seems like a more consistent way to do things although it is a big change. Of course, you can also do estimates the way you always have in a better looking and more organized format.

There were some issues with the previous version although it was still quite good. The latest version really makes this the perfect painting app. Rates can be stored for each estimating method and they can be mixed and matched on individual methods. The new labor and material estimates are perfect for quick jobs. I will will probably be adding the new cloud sync in-app. thanks guys!

PaintingContractorEstimates has really helped me get organized. It’s so easy to bill that my revenue has actually increased since I can add ALL my services with just a few taps. Also saves time of manually generating invoices. It does take some time and effort to set up but is well worth it once you’re rolling. I tried another app but the information was on a server and I needed a connection for it to work, not so good for me.
