I thought I would give Contractor a second try after promises from the developer that problems related to using an IPad were resolved. I think it is worse now! Contractor is complete mess, and far from user friendly. It still does not display properly on the IPad and other mobile devices. Why would I pay for Contractor given it current shortfalls. Making an app simple and easy to use cannot be that difficult.

Last thing i want to see in front of my estimate is your name announcing that you are behind me. I dont even want to see your name in small letter in the back of the page. There is no way to customize the estimate. Contractor doesnt go full screen in my ipad. You need lots of work to do in Contractor and should remove that 99 dollars monthly plan you have and reorganize all other subscriptions with lower monthly fees. You are not ready for it. I know there is other people doing things like that. Same as you, you dont have a product equivalent to the money you want.
Will review in a year or two.
You have to permit the this app to personalized the estimate. Start there. Make it simple. We, contractors are all diferente. I dont want to look like my competence. You have to understand that. On e form fits all dont work here.

I’ve been trying to sign up with my business info and it keeps saying that the user already exits when trying to verify email or phone number. I use my personal info and it says the same thing. I open a new email account and try my wife’s phone number and it keeps saying the same. I can’t even imagine how bad it will be once I’m able to sign up, so I’ll just give it one star because I couldn’t even get through the singing up part which will not disappear unless Contractor is deleted… bummer.

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while and it’s almost what I need, but I’m surprised to find there’s no big picture calendar or scheduling features. If Contractor had a simple scheduling calendar it would be great.

I’ve been looking for an estimate/quoting software and this fits the bill. The free version works fine but I also wanted the contract language in my invoicing which this does after paying the upgrade to Pro. I was hoping for a free app but couldn’t find one. This had two templates for the contract language which I was able to edit. The shopping tool and ability to add these items directly into an estimate is helpful. So far it seems very customizable which is great. Sending out an estimate was easy but they have 3 kinds so I had to figure out the differences. Basically it depends what level of detail you want to include. Pricing seems comparable to other apps. I’ll play with it more and see what I can do with it.

So far so good. I really enjoy the fact that it’s only $9 to get started with full access to all of the services. I love that you can itemize your estimates and invoices by “tasks” and group them together that way. Other crm apps don’t let you do that and you have to itemize everything out. Plus other apps are a lot more spendy. I had an issue with finding where to add pics and docs to estimates and invoices, sent them a message, and they replied the same day. Very helpful. I was a little hesitant to try Contractor out since it only had 75 reviews but so far I love it!

Im a general this app and I just downloaded contractors+ yesterday. I’ve already been able to send out out couple of very professional looking estimates and I’ve enjoyed digging around in Contractor to see how else contractors+ could help my business!

there's a lot going on. So many features that I'll never use like the tool library?! why would I need to track my tools. All things considered,this is still the best app I've found for doing estimates and managing my clients. So I can't complain too much.

So far so good, only problem is that I can't space between sentences, usually I list the things almost as bulet points , but now I have to write a coma, and write in front of my last sentence. But other than that it's been working for me as a new company owner and understanding computer stuff very I like.

It literally had everything I wanted in one spot , some things i didn’t know I wanted and some things I can’t wait to use. Y’all did amazing on this.

Contractor not only offers most of the features and benefits of the more expensive apps on the market, the customer service is by far the best I have worked with. When I have questions or need training, I send a request and they respond almost immediately.
And it’s usually the founder that I end up on a call with. This tells me he truly cares about the direction of the company and listens to his customers.

It is the more complete app I have ever use, and I have used almost everyone out there. It has everything you will need to do estimates, with before and after pictures, extremely detailed invoices. Very professional and easy to understand templates.

Keep your finances in shape with all the reports you will need. Keep your employees and subcontractors on task with in app text messaging and GPS. Tools inventory with users tracking information. Too many improvements to mention, just download it and you will find limitless ways to used it.

I need to check if it’s user error or a glitch, but the total estimate at the top of Contractor doesn’t seem to update with the total estimate price that adds up at the bottom of the estimate. This happens when I go back in and edit a sq ft or a rate.

I signed up for the this app lead generation services which are awesome leads. I am paying $70 per lead in my area and these leads almost all turn into customers. I have got a ton of work from this app plus. Good stuff

This is the only app I've found that lets me change how I bid, I can do flooring jobs by the sq. ft. or I can do painting jobs hourly. I can bid however I want which is why I like Contractor over other apps in the same category.

There's nothing else that does everything this app plus does at the price. Honestly, even the free version is good enough honestly but I upgraded because I wanted to be able to send my estimates and invoices from my own domain. It looks more professional that way. Plus I just want to support a great app company.

I've had a few problems along the way and have reached out to their support team. Now I can schedule a call with my account rep right inside Contractor . He's always helped me out. He even helped me with a computer problem I was having. I owe him a good bottle of bourbon.

I kept getting a prompt to review Contractor after sending an estimate so I wanted the prompt to go away so I decided to leave a review. Honestly. I should have left one sooner. Contractor is impressive. Zero ads. Super fast. Great support. Does everything in one app. Nothing else compares.

I am super impressed with Contractor. Depending on the type of job I am working on, there are multiple estimate tools that give me the ability to provide as much or a little itemization and detail as I need. I haven't found another app that comes even close to this level of detail.
