Swapcard - Smart Event App Reviews

I have not used Swapcard for the for the intended event yet I have tried moving around to view speakers and sessions. While you can check mark sessions of interest there does not seem to be a way of keeping track of all of them, there does not seem to be a visual or calendar to indicate times and dates for each session you checked. This seems a pretty lame feature to leave out!
Additionally, Swapcard is really a big pain to use. Why not recognize me when I come back?
Why not make it easier to move back and forth from page to page?
Why not make it easy to add to your calendar so one can set up alerts?
Oh all the things you are missing!

I really love Swapcard and I don’t love many apps. I hate having to do most things on a phone. Not this one. Super helpful and great interface and I really like the idea of this company. It’s like a private version of a big social media app, targeted to your event/conference. My only quibble is that I can’t figure out a way to just see *my* schedule (events I’ve selected) without having to scroll through the whole event schedule. Other than that, I can honestly say this company and app has restored some of my joy in digital interaction. Thanks!

Swapcard is wonderful. Very intuitive and has extensive, very useful features. The ability to network, go to event sessions, and interact with the other attendees is excellent. They successfully took a tough situation and turned it into something that is better than in-person events in a lot of ways. Highly recommend!

We used Swapcard at a recent conference, and only afterwards discovered that all of the notes that we had taken during the conference had been deleted. Apparently, Swapcard does not work with cell data (even when cellular data usage is enabled). If you scan someone and Swapcard does not immediately recognize who they are, it will not save any notes or other information that you enter about your meeting with them.

Haven’t attended actual event yet but loving the format which allows a personal profile, interaction among participants prior to event as well as prep videos and a shopping link all in one spot. Currently I can’t think of a thing to improve upon!

Swapcard is a quick download and easy to use. App is great for connecting with other attendees at a show as well as view event content like agendas, exhibitor profiles, and floor plans.

The agenda was horrible to use, you had to scroll from the beginning every time and when I tried to search I couldn’t get what I needed. Needs a better layout/easy to switch between times/days. Also the floor plan was slow to connect to another url instead of just being native in Swapcard

Awesome app. We compared them with hopin when making our choice. They had much better support and Swapcard was more user friendly.

I attend lots of events and the most important thing to me is to meet the right people. I love how this app matches me to other attendees with similar goals and interests. 5 stars!

Not user friendly! Unable to log onto my event because swap card says the link expires on each login. Impossible to contact this app support! Tried the online chat as well as the email chat, no one answers!

Do not use Swapcard for scanning, waste of time depends on what the person has entered to scan. Most is just name no number or email. Don’t bother using it, quicker to have a piece of paper to write contacts down and email

Swapcard is great. Specifically I love the ease of connecting with other attendees.

Tough to find schedule, too many buttons to read, needs UX improvements. Very easy to miss meeting requests.

Hard to navigate. Need to work on the UX. Locks up and requires me to close and open back up again.

App didn’t work on the second day of the show for several phones in our booth.. just kept saying error

Also we have leads on 4 phones and no easy way to merge them into one spreadsheet. I’m sure it exists but if

Webplayers in the browser works just fine, but the application won’t let you get something out of the mute state.

Does your video conference needs you to be touching the screen every 15 secs to avoid being turn off?

Love the networking and engagement features.

I’ve tried various ways to get app support with negative results. I can’t recommend.

Swapcard shows on my TV sideways.

Swapcard is so buggy. Like the rest of their service. I'm trying to change my email address; 1st it's a whole maze to find where to do it, then it just doesn't work, trying to do it for 2 days, still haven't succeeded. Same of editing the business cards; sometimes edits are persisted, sometimes they are discarded without an error message. Swapcard uses Yes/No answers instead of verbs (as recommended in the Apple guidelines!!) which is very confusing. If you guys are going to push Swapcard to many conferences worldwide and try to make it a standard for business contacts, try making it well: no one will have the patience I had trying to have this working!

It's nice to have something like Cardmunch again. I love the look of Swapcard as well. Everything syncs with my address book easily. Seriously easy. The only additional feature would be a proximity card share like bump using Bluetooth.

The only solution I've found that not only easily lets you take down business card contacts quick and easy, but also sends your info to them. Lots more useful features too
