Let’s start off by saying manufacture estimates it takes 2 people about 8 hours to assemble this swing set.

BILT was recommend by the manufacturer of the swing set as it was on all the boxes of materials for the swing set. Started off alright but started to realize some things were off, (about a few hours into build) when the directions on certain steps used wrong pieces. If I had use the pieces as instructed by BILT it would have posed safety risk to any child using the swing set.

The only useful part of BILT would be the ability to zoom in on what washer, nut, bolt, or whatever goes where assuming it is the correct piece you are suppose to be using in that particular step since it’s so small in the printed manual.

In conclusion, ditch BILT save yourself the headache, anxiety, and overall time wasted having to redo hours worth of work and just use the manual provide. At least what I had to put together couldn’t blow up if assemble wrong, I’m fearful of any one who uses BILT to put together a gas grill.

A much lesser but not unimportant complaint, bring a charger as well, BILT will kill your battery.

Unfortunately for me, we had 2 door knobs to replace & I bet my husband I could install mine faster & more efficiently using the this app app ONLY, while he installed his with no instructions at all. I’m one of those weirdos who loves instructions & manuals & I was initially super excited to use BILT, (honestly it’s right up my alley!) Well, I lost the bet because BILT shows the door latch being installed backwards. So I installed everything in record time, locked the door from the inside to test it & was able to pull it open without unlocking it...what a freakin FAIL!
*I checked the Defiant instructions (which were correct) & sure enough, BILT was wrong. So I had to totally undo everything I just did & by that time my husband had finished & of course had to step in & show me the “right way to do it.” Uggh...pretty disappointed to say the least!!
2 stars because BILT does have a lot of awesome features...but none of that really matters if the content is wrong!

So I bought a garage door opener that had this “this app” feature. Sounded like a brilliant idea. Eh, not so much. This is basically just a robotic voice reading you the instructions. The associated photos and animations are very basic and minimally helpful. The very first step was wrong in that it did not even match the printed instructions. Not a good start. Got around that, but thereafter I was underwhelmed. BILT *could* have provided insight into especially tricky and confusing spots in the assembly, nope. It *could* have provided instructions on assembling the optional extension bracket (for taller doors; a very common occurrence), nope. It *could* have included instructions beyond the basic travel limit setting, nope. I guess, it is free, but there is unrealized potential here.

I will use BILT from now on. However, I would give five stars if the build time wasn’t wrong... not because this app was wrong, but because Backyard Discovery was wrong and this app didn’t verify the build time on the instructions. I’ve put 2 of these together. I helped my father in law put theirs together for all the grandkids and it was 6 days after work every day. Calculated guess 35-40 man hours of labor. Well, I like building things, so my wife and I got one for our kids. My daughter and I put ours together in about 25 hours. I believe that with what I’ve learned… I could put it together in 20 hours. Backyard discovery says eight hours and I cannot believe it. There are 236 steps. That’s one step every 29 seconds… It’s a lie.

I used this app to assemble a Weber E-410. BILT provided mostly helpful step by step instructions. It was lacking in 2 ways. 1) Some instructions only apply to the LP version of the grill. BILT did not always make this clear at the beginning on the instructions for those steps. 2) Every time I checked the hardware needed, BILT referred to bag A. Weber provided 6 bags labeled A-F so I had to refer to the assembly guide Weber provided. The this app instructions did not follow the Weber assembly guide so it was a little difficult to find the step to insure I was using the right parts. I stuck with the this app app s process and successfully completed the project with occasional reference to the Weber assembly guide.

The 3D directions were mostly helpful for the assembly of the cart. Had to replay some sections a few times to be clear. Directions for 2 screws and 2 dowels in the 3D were reverse of the booklet directions and the booklet was correct. Had to re-do those pieces as the next section didn’t line up properly. The combination of the booklet and 3D directions worked well together. The directions for the drawers onto the slides could be a bit more clear. And the safety releases on both drawers do not go in the same direction. The left side releases downward and the right side releases upward. The drawers need to be opened and closed a few times after assembly until they slide smoothly. There is no way the cart can be assembled in 45 minutes. It took us nearly 6 hours. A more realistic assembly time would likely be 2-4 hours.

I got a KidKraft Dollhouse. The instructions included were very vague. I downloaded BILT and was very impressed by the instructions in BILT . The whole dollhouse was in 3D, parts were exactly as real life. Which made looking for unnumbered parts much easier if you knew what scene or color the part actually was. You can zoom in and see the exact hole the screw needs to go in. It would of been much more difficult and time consuming to build the dollhouse without BILT . Recommend 100%.

This is a great app, not only does it stay on the last step you left off on when you exit BILT , it also gives you every detail information about the scores and bolts to use, to the exact measurements. This was a lifesaver and actually spend less time building it.
My last advice, if you have the cash to dish out to have someone built it, do it. I built it myself the “Monterrey swing set” out in the blazing sun and I was sunken. Lol. Hope this helps.

I bought a weber grill S-345 and I installed myself even thought the manual recommends two people, because it was so easy to follow the steps using BELT app. I was not able to register the product nor from Weber website , neither iphone app. But I managed to register the grill using BELT app. A notification email was sent immediately that they sent the registration to Weber. BILT is one if the best I have used. Thank you BELT team for creating this awesome application and tutorials!!!

I wanted to set up my grill myself cuz I like to know how things work and I like to follow all the steps. The paper instructions included with my Weber Spirit Grill were ok. But sometimes the picture doesn’t give me enough information. BILT gave a great visual how to. If I didn’t understand the first time, it has an easy review button to watch again. You can enlarge the pictures so you can zero in on the parts to gain understanding.

I almost kept with the good ‘ole instructions provided with my unit. However, I saw the 3D interact instruction app option and gave it a try. So glad I did. The fact that you are given a visual instruction of how something should be done is good. But the fact that you can flip that upside down, or to the left/right and see it down from another angle is amazing! Helped me not make mistakes I’m sure I would have if I used the paper instructions! This is technology as it should be used. Can’t say enough good about BILT!

I assembled a mack-daddy Weber Grill in about six hours. About 70 steps with heavy pieces and dozens of small parts. BILT walked me through every detail and I used slow motion replay every time. Ability to zoom in and rotate the diagrams was important, but being able to select and detail each piece of hardware assured I never chose the wrong part. Using only the paper assembly instructions would’ve doomed me to failure in the first couple steps, but BILT did its job for me. Very thankful.

I’ve never written a review of an app before. I had to for this one. Bought a Weber Grill and while the printed assembly instructions were decent BILT made it super easy. Being able to zoom in and rotate for a full 360° including top and bottom made all the difference. The printed instructions said 2 people 1.75 hours. With this app I did it by my myself in the same amount of time and that was with a broken foot and a walking boot/cast on. I only wish every manufacturer used BILT.

Wow, what a cool concept and app. A step by step 3D assembly manual. Great blow ups where needed and very good illustrations of parts to make sure you use the right one. Replay as needed and voice when there is something critical.

I assembled a Weber Genesis II grill with no difficulty or assistance in a much faster time than if I would have used the paper manual. It really did take the guesswork out of using the right parts and the ability to enlarge the 3D renderings to make sure I had the part facing the right direction was very helpful.

I recently bought two new garage door openers to replace 20 year old relics. The installation instruction manual that came with them was good, but this app was sooo much better. It is a step by step video that tells you exactly how to install and test the opener. It also tells you what specific hardware to use in each step and these agree with the parts illustrated in the installation diagram that comes with the opener. I wish that everything you bought came with an installation video like this app. It made the installation easy, fast, and foolproof.

So being single female I tend to get stuck with instructions that sometimes don’t make sense well BILT takes the instructions and bring them to life. I had caught the mainstay Lawson television stand on sale and was looking forward getting it setup. Get to one step and it wasn’t making sense look at instructions and pictures finally decide to google cause well you know google is your friend what do you know not this time but after a little more research I got led here. Best app ever only took me two more tries and being able to look at the pictures for positioning purpose helps a lot.

I rarely write reviews. However it was so great to have the voice and the ability to see the animation. I even zoomed in to verify the nuts were going the correct direction. I’m not close to a handyman but can follow directions carefully and I did together this inversion table on my own the first time. Went smoothly but of course seemed longer than it said. Wish I had timed. I went carefully so no worries. Feel good that I did it correctly which is important given the dire (but probably justified) warnings about improper assembly can lead to death. Really appreciate the 2 “did you do this correctly” checks to reassure me. Thank you Teeter and this app!!

For anyone who has ever looked at the 2 dimensional pictures and terribly written descriptions included in almost every set of instructions - celebrate! this app’s 3D imaging allows you to remain laying on the floor in awkward positions to fix or install whatever you’re fixing and installing but now the views can match your view, no matter what angle you’re looking from. Simply awesome! Products that have this app intelligent instructions will now move to the top of my list when choosing between Products A and B. I still want to have the satisfaction of installing things myself but am happy to finally see the way the process is supposed to be done!

Best app for assembling products. I do almost every assembly by myself, even when it says 2-4 people needed. But with the help from this app, I can do it all myself. No more waiting on someone else or their schedules. With this app I can run through the instructions to know exactly what to expect before actually assembling it. Love that I can pause and replay over and over at my pace rather than reversing a video and hoping to get in the spot you need. The graphics are great and the steps are broken down simply. They do vary from the paper version that comes with the product but I’ve come to rely on this app, it is a better version for assembly. Every product should be in the this app app! It would make the diy’s (like me)life so much easier.

The step by step instruction with excellent graphics is amazing. What’s even more amazing is, you can click on the parts, zoom, rotate and pause.

It’s the perfect solution to paper instructions that leave a lot to the imagination and imperfect assemblies.

I purchased a Weber grill and were it not for BILT, I would have assembled some things upside and would have had to re-work it. If you purchase a product with assembly instructions available on the this app app, I highly recommend you install and use it.

How many of us lose instructions? “Now where did I leave those PAPERS?!” Can you say, paperless?! Never heard of BILT before until today when we bought a playhouse for our daughter. Saw that it had BILT to download, so I did. BILT is AWESOME!!!! Not only did it have step by step instructions. It also had other products to help you assemble on it as well. I totally recommend people to download BILT. I already recommended it to some of my friends.

I really enjoyed having BILT to assemble this product which was a weber grill .. it made the process so much easier it was way more accurate than reading a manual and trying to understand a manual through even pictures and words ..! I would recommend to anybody to use this method for assembly on a purchased product .. thanks for providing this feature !!

So I decided to take my Coleman minibike all the way down to the frame to repaint it. My biggest fear was reassembly bc it was working perfectly before. My fears came true when, even after bagging the parts and taking pictures, I was unsure about some of the washer placements. The this app app was perfect for instructing me how it needs to go back together. I got the bike back together and even picked up some maintenance tips. Thanks this app.

Just put together a KidKraft house. Great tool to use! Loved the features. Would recommend having small letters/numbers on the parts and screws instead of someone having to tap. I was checking screw letters again and again and it would often tell me the wrong part, then I’d have to zoom in to see it. Another tip would be that the directions in the booklet (got out to see the screw letters) do not have the same steps.

I wondered initially why I would want BILT to build the playset we bought. Well, I’m converted, to the point I’d recommend the product to someone else just because of it, and I’d shop for products that use it just because. Hardest part of the whole thing is the playset takes 15-20 hrs to assemble, and the battery on my iPad doesn’t last that long with the screen on the whole time! BILT is fantastic.

Never put one of these together before. With the paper instructions manual and video instruction on this app were really informative. I would recommend this play set for anybody that wants a play set for their children. I hope and pray that my grandkids will enjoy this for many years to come. It was a process for just me to do and I had very little help but was able to assemble the whole thing in just a short period of time. Thank you cedar summit by KidKraft Copper Ridge play set!

Of course assembly of a genesis II grill is made easier by quality parts and engineering BUT BILT helped with an amazing amount of supporting info that allowed me to put it together single handedly the first try.

The ability to rotate 360 and zoom in so you can make sure you have things in the right orientation was invaluable in what can be a stressful task.

I hope all companies that sell products needing assembly jump on this bandwagon. This tech should become table stakes for companies like this in the very, very near future.

Frankly when my Teeter Inversion Table arrived and I unpacked it I thought I ‘m never going to be able to put this thing together myself! I found the mention of the bolt app in my instructions and downloaded it. I was done in less time than it said it would take! I I was easy and if I was unsure I could go back a screen and reassure myself that I was correct and could move on. Use BILT for quick and easy assembly instructions for your next project!!

I have no use BILT three times twice to assemble the two different cribs and wants to assemble a weber master touch grill. In all cases BILT is a godsend for home assembly. The 3-D motion effects are very informative and the ability to select the angle to view at is also extremely helpful. Using BILT has prevented me from getting almost all the way through an assembly only to find out that I had done something wrong and having to disassemble. Great app!

I downloaded BILT as suggested on my swing set box that was delivered to me. This is so incredibly thorough! Step by step instructions with pictures as well. Breaking down each step as well and letting me know what tools are needed and exactly what pieces I’ll need and then showing a video of how exactly to put them together! This is a wonderful bonus feature that I didn’t know I’d have! Great job to the developer of BILT and the swing set I purchased! Thank you! I’ll be recommending BILT to my family and friends.

BILT is very helpful and helps you put together endless amounts of product not just specific brands either!
