I have been notified that a following a free trial a subscription will be taken. I wish to cancel. I cannot cancel this through the App Store as it isn’t a renewal. I do not wish to continue with the app

I have an account on a different email (mtangney@redacted) and I had a subscription from 2020 that I had canceled. However now when I am trying to resubscribe it keeps saying something went wrong and that it is already tied to that account. However I am being charged for it.
