Not Much of a Time Saver

The GNP app needs some improvement. For instance, although I scan the barcode on my prescriptions when requesting refills, MyGNP still requires me to enter the name of the prescription, the name of the person for whom the medication is prescribed, the name of the person picking up the prescription, and I have to correct the prescription number scanned. (MyGNP always adds two zeros to the prescription number).

Once everything is entered, it is very difficult to find a “Submit Refill” button... if there even is one. Therefore I never know if a refill has been submitted or not—I have never gotten a “success” response, or any response at all for that matter.

It may be that I have not yet completely figured out how the GNP app works, but how hard should that be? The Walgreens app is far more intuitive, faster to use, nicer to look at, and provides rapid feedback. It took me virtually no time at all to figure it out. The GNP app feels clunky and primitive in comparison.

I just refilled one of my prescriptions... I think... maybe. Now I need to call the pharmacy to see if I actually did. I guess that means 2 stars is 1-star too generous.

Looks good. But “Where’s the beef?”

This is visually more appealing than the WinRxRefill app. I’ve been that one since the pharmacy opened. There’s a link for it on the store homepage.

In spite of the clean look of the GNP app, there is not much in the way of utility. If you aren’t holding the bottle in your hand or have the prescription number, it’s unusable. All you can do is either scan the Rx number and enter (ALL) the other data (name, phone, medication, etc.) -OR- enter the Rx number manually AND the other data (name, phone, medication,...). There are not any lists or lookups!

Other than being able to request a refill at night, it’s faster and easier to just call the pharmacy! Our pharmacy (Bocage) knows their customers and the typical refill call is less than a minute.

Aaaargh!!! Just ok, needs improving

It’s probably just me, but....
1) The ‘Saved Prescriptions’ where you can order off a list of what I guess
are available for refill meds is incomplete. What is there is inaccurate.
2) Since it didn’t have everything listed, I was going back and forth between Saved, and the option to ‘self-enter’ your order. Didn’t realize that every time I switched, the entries I had just written down or selected, as the case may be, disappeared! Lots of extra work and Lord only knows what my dear Pharmacist got in the way of an order!! If he got one at all. MyGNP would be outstanding IF it worked right. Needs ‘bug spray’!!

Good when it works

I have used MyGNP several times and it has been pretty good, but not great. There is no communication to tell you if your Rx has been received or when it is ready for pick up. Over this weekend MyGNP apparently updated, and when I went to pick up my Rx, they had no record of it even though I had ordered a refill about 3 days ago. Not sure what happened, but it is very inconvenient to go for pick up and finding out I’ll have to make another trip.

Not helpful, Its back to the old phone ordering system

MyGNP is bad. I’m not going to get into all the issues which make it bad because if you read the other comments you will see the same problems over and over and over again. My Pharmcy thinks it suks also.
The apps new releases appears to have made things worse instead better.
MyGNP used to be very good.
Again read other comments. They all hit the nail right on the head.

Need to update

When your prescriptions get filled you should be able to see what prescriptions are ready and when it was filled. Yes, you can get your pharmacy to email you but it doesn’t say what prescriptions also it state how many refills you have left so you could give your doctor a heads up! Also where you put in your meds so you can refill them it should show all your prescriptions you have date of last filled and refills still available. What you have just doesn’t work!

Lack of Help is frustrating

A well written user-friendly app will always have something on the order of a circle with a ? inside for context sensitive help.

I'm trying to use the Med Planner. I tap at many locations on the screen, but the only thing that happens is the scrolling horizontally of the time. There is no help button on that page, nor is there any help on the help page. I have no idea how to operate this function, and I'm unable to find any applicable help.

As a result, this application is useless for planning and reminders as to when to take a medication.

Good app that could be great

I would have given 5 stars if there was a way to check if the prescription order was received and if you were able to let them know when you are on the way so you could know the order was ready or needed another 15 minutes
Other than that it’s a great app

No real improvement for functionality

The application is very poor on any function which would really provide a good interface. We need to track by year not only what prescriptions we have but the cost for each new refill . You are trapped in the middle between the insurance company’s actually setting your selling price but most customers do not actually understand how they work. More data is your friend.

Practically useless

Not even sure why there’s an app for GNP when it’s practically useless.
Yes you can get an address and hours, but Google can tell you that.

Doesn’t have an accurate meds list / by a long shot! And I’ve been a monthly continuous customer for 2+ years. Same
Meds every month & they don’t show on the list.
There’s no accurate history of meds / none at all!
Refills aren’t accurate.
Last filled isn’t even close to accurate.

You can’t chat in real time with anyone at all.
There’s no coupons or promotions to worry about.
If you want to “shop”, all the items you might need from the physical store are not listed.

So seriously... what’s the purpose of MyGNP ?

Glitchy

Unable to input date of birth in my profile. I scroll to my birth month then the wheel automatically scrolls back to the current month. Also when submitting for a refill it gave an error and asked me to retry. It was able to go through on the second attempt. This is my first-time use of MyGNP so we’ll see if the pharmacy receives the request.

Amazing!!

MyGNP is the best app ever. I use it almost every week and it’s very helpful to use. It’s not glitchy with all the reservations and has some decent local pharmacy’s. Just saying it’s amazing and helpful!

Need pharmacy feedback

Need the feature of pharmacy acknowledgement when they receive a request for a refill. Also maybe a notice from them that refill is ready. Several times pharmacy was not even aware of my refill request through MyGNP . Had to call, so no need for app.

Could do more...

I use MyGNP to order refills, but I still have to call the pharmacy to see if they are filled. I was used to Walmart's app which alerted you if the refills were ready or if there was a delay. Not really happy with MyGNP...but I had to change pharmacies to get better copay, so I am stuck with it.

Big question: Will it give me a report at the end of the year of all my copays?

Need prescription filled slot

My only suggestion would
To be able to see when your prescriptions are filled and what they are. That if there is one missing u can get it taken care of before u go to pick up.

Awesome Rx App!

Highly recommend this easy to use prescription refill app! At Thrifty Mac, our small town independent pharmacy & can request refills 24/7! So convenient!

Text is illegible because it is blue and the background black.

Please change the background. I am not visually impaired. But someone who is, or has moderate vision wouldn’t be able to use the My GNP app. I would also like to enter a new prescription to find out pricing, and don’t see a way to do that.

Also it is not intuitive where to sign up or in.

Is this in beta testing?

Problems

I use MyGNP on my iPhone 12 and it works, but even after scanning a medication barcode, one must yet enter the medication name and name of person for whom it’s prescribed, even though this information is present in the system.

On my wife’s iPhone 6, MyGNP cannot even locate our pharmacy!

I’m going to look for a better app.

There are better

Easy to find your preferred pharmacy. Limits number of prescriptions to refill at one time so not easy for senior citizens. No reminders. No password or account protection. The scan to enter prescription worked BUT it did the wrong prescription number. Basically I don’t like it. The one my pharmacy had before was much better.

Love It

I love MyGNP. It’s so easy to use. I wold recommend this pharmacy and MyGNP to all my friends.... and have!

Only 5 prescriptions??

I like MyGNP and what it can do. But why only 5 prescriptions? Unfortunately, some of us are on more than five. I would love to use it to manage meds for my family but the cap needs to be higher!

By

Benton Discount Pharmacy

MyGNP needs to show users their order status. It would be nice to see when order is complete, when it is going to be delivered, or is ready for pick up.

Need to edit

Need to be able to edit information like call back number.
