I was high skeptical of GrowDoc. The idea is great. I wish there was an app that could be accurate in identifying issues. I know the issue of the plant that I have but I wanted to see what GrowDoc would say. So basically a slight yellowing of my leaf tips had gotten 5 results. NONE were the issue. GrowDoc identifies the problem as thrips, spider mites, white powdery mildew, aphids, or agetation mutation…. I was really pulling for GrowDoc. I wanted it to be a good source to identify your issues. For your gardens sake, I would not use GrowDoc. Or if you do, be seriously careful and get second opinions. But at that point , why use GrowDoc ? If GrowDoc thinks a slight yellow tip are thrips and need to be treated for bugs…..should say enough abt GrowDoc.

I would not recommend, app doesn’t correctly identify anything, it says you have a vegetation mutation for every singe scan as a wild guess

I downloaded GrowDoc and continued as a guest user. I wanted to try it out before giving my info. I Uploaded multiple pictures of plants that have clear problems for GrowDoc to scan and diagnose. Every result came back as “Sorry, this app couldn’t recognize your disease.” The Gallery section of GrowDoc isn’t a bad resource for you to do you’re own diagnosis. There are plenty of reference photos and information about each disease and nutrient deficiency/excess. Overall I’d say it fails as a scanning diagnostic, but as an information resource in an app instead of doing a google search it’s acceptable.
