I usually don’t tend to write reviews, but for this application I felt the need to. I have downloaded so many workout apps and not one of them has been as effective as this one. So easy to follow AND fun, which is so important!! Makes my work outs fly by, always leaving me so energized and ready to conquer the rest of my day. I used to hate working out, I was lazy and unmotivated, but because of this app I can’t truly say that I have found the love I used to have for working out, especially because there are so many channels you can choose from. I cannot thank AppAudio enough for changing my life and my mindset.

So now at 24 HR Fitness they take out the earphone jacks to hear the monitors. You are REQUIRED to download their app on your phone if you want to hear the monitors. 24 Hour contradicts Themselves. They encourage you to keep your valuables secured either in your car or locked in your locker. But now they require you to use our phones, which could range up to $1,000. And if you, if you become a victim they will not assist you and turn your backs on you. I have seen this first hand. This is obviously a marketing ploy which they will gain from. I am looking for another place to go.

AppAudio works great and is easy to use. I’ve tried out a few gyms that use AppAudio and I’ve always been able to connect wherever I am in the gym. I like to toggle between my music and what’s playing on the monitors and AppAudio lets me effortlessly switch back and forth.

I was worried about AppAudio due to all of the negative reviews. I’ve used it 4 times now at 24 hour fitness. I’ve only had issues once where it was slightly choppy. I found it to be pretty convenient. This was a new fitness center. I would imagine that AppAudio will only be as good as the WiFi at your local gym.

They just got this at my 24 hour fitness. I connected to their guest network, and then opened up my app and could select one of the TVs and I could hear it while I was working out. It makes the time fly by!! I love it!

Simply stated, good luck using AppAudio. In about 12 uses at Planet Fitness, it’s worked about 6 times. When it works, it takes about 10-15 minutes for it to finally connect via the “venue scan.” Right now, I’m still trying to use it after 13 minutes on treadmill... IF i connect, the audio is hit or miss (cuts out, scratchy, etc.). Wish I had better news folks!

Works great except when the internet goes down! It needs internet to connect to your phone. Love the mobility

Runs perfect in the background on my iPhone 10 and works anywhere in the gym even upstairs in our stretching area!

I have so much love for AppAudio, truly makes my work outs feel like a breeze!! 10/10 recommend 😇

Garbage app. Most days it won’t connect at all despite reinstalling AppAudio . Whatever planet fitness is paying for this service, they are overpaying. Basically a total waste of time and resources. Either fix it, or dump it for a better service please.

I’ve tried installing this as there are banners all over the gym to install AppAudio to listen to the TV audio. No matter what I try or do AppAudio can not locate my gyms network. This seems like a good concept, but the execution of AppAudio was poorly done. Don’t waste your money and do note it’s free, it’s just that bad.

I was hopeful seeing that few were able to get AppAudio to work. Good concept but extremely pitiful execution. I go to Planet Fitness and was hoping to use AppAudio there since there are stickers all over the equipment advertising AppAudio. Big disappointment.

AppAudio is absolute trash. Not only does it not properly scan networks but when I actually connects (which is rare) it kicks you off intermittently. Wish I could give 0 stars.

This might be the one app that doesn't interrupt you with a request for a review. They must know it doesn't work. This might be the only app where I searched to leave a negative review

AppAudio worked for the first 2 times I used it. Then it no longer gives audio even when it shows all the stations available at the gym.

Worked sporadically… Then nothing. I can’t even get AppAudio to load now. Frustrating waste of time. Anyone who gives higher than one star just hasn’t used it long enough.

AppAudio rocks! The audio seamlessly streams to help me get the most of my workouts.

Audio stops when iphone goes into lock mode. I am not setting that to never just because your app stopped working. Worked before IOS upgrades.

Either AppAudio is useless or the people who are suppose to set it up are useless!
There are 8 choices. 3 have sound 5 are silent.
It has been that way for several months now.
It would be great if our gym would show their appreciation for the members by attending to this problem.
