Gives me anxiety

This started with the The concept of unofficial guide of USF recommending the Lines app. I of course Found the WDW app and couldn’t navigate LinesUniversalOrlando without a subscription to realize it was ONLY WDW. So now I have a subscription to both. Which I don’t need. Then I tried to use the tour plans. 2 day, 2 park. However they only say “2 day, 2 park, day 1, part 2”. What happened to Day 1, part 1? It wasn’t in the other park section (I checked both USF and IOA). Then I tried to make my own following the stops in the plan in the book but these custom plans don’t allow you to change the park to make your own 2-park guide. Also the most optimal time to ride Hagrids, on early admin hours is first and is still 75 minutes? Makes no sense. Then all the other rides that day have a 1-7 minute wait. I thought the early hours would allow my first ride to go faster?
Too frustrating. I’m going to rid the guide out of the book and follow that. I now have spent $$ on two apps I won’t use. Fabulous.

Dated app design

It does what it needs to but the layout is hard to work with and the speed of LinesUniversalOrlando clicks seem slow. LinesUniversalOrlando badly needs a refresh from 2008-style menus.

App crashed a few times while using. Had a hard time to report times and to start the timer. Took me 2 days to figure it all out.

Very Helpful

Fist time using Touring Plans. Excellent for planning our 2 days at Universal. The Universal TP menus and screens aren't as intuitive or easy to navigate as the Disney app, so 4/5 stars.

Lines app for Universal and Disney

These apps are very helpful for pre-planning and then when you are in the parks. Great updates for actual wait time. It is great to see a list of rides and you can mark off as you’ve done each. I also love to just browse through LinesUniversalOrlando for dining suggestions and see what’s new. Well worth the price.

Best ever

We used this for Disney in 2017. Out of 4 days in the parks, they were off on 2 rides only.

We used it this week at Universal, and the times were more accurate than Universal itself!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I tell everyone about it.

Amazing Line Wizadry

I’ve used Touring Plans for years and it never fails to give the best park experience with amazingly accurate wait times. Highly suggest following the plan precisely and you’ll have a great day with minimal waits.

A Rope Dropper’s Best Friend!

Seriously helpful when planning a day at Universal! Wait times from LinesUniversalOrlando are way more accurate and the tool itself is simple and easy to use! Really helped us maximize our time!

“How did we get so much done?”

We are sitting in Rose and Crown during a downpour at 8:47 pm and pulled up LinesUniversalOrlando to review our day. Everyone has the same comment you see as this review’s title.

Combine LinesUniversalOrlando with The Unofficial Guide and the book/app combination will pay for itself several times over.

Wait times accurate

LinesUniversalOrlando has more accurate wait times than Disney’s app. We spent two days at Disney and LinesUniversalOrlando was our best friend, allowing us to spend the most time riding the rides we wanted to and skipping as much waiting as we could. We can’t wait to try it at Universal today!

Excellent!

Used this for Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Orlando, and Islands of Adventure. Got behind at Magic Kingdom because rides closed, but overall kept on track or slightly ahead. Used A different program several years ago for Disneyland and was happy with that. This one works just as well. Would recommend.

Such a time saver!

We’ve been using Touring Plans for a few years.
I’m a planner so love to have things planned out! Making your own individualized plan is simple and I promise if you follow it you will save tons of time!! The website gives tons of helpful tips and advice on “not to be missed” attractions! I wouldn’t dare go to Disney or Universal without using Touring Plans!

Worth the money.

LinesUniversalOrlando helped my family and me a lot. We went to Universal for spring break during Marti Gras, one of their busiest times. We were traveling with a 6-year-old and two special needs teens and had no clue that this would happen when we planned our trip months prior. Once we realized this, we knew that we needed a plan. So through lots of searching, we came across LinesUniversalOrlando, and it was a lifesaver when it came down to knowing which rides would be the best ones to go on at a particular time. This saved us a lot of time. The only thing I had an issue with was the suggestion to get on the train and go to Islands of Adventure, then go back to Universal. ( We had the two park passes). We made our adjustment when it came to that part.

Because of this app and subscription...

... we did everything we wanted to at Universal Florida. Using the Unofficial Guide book to understand the parks and the Lines app to track the parks before your visit allows you to plan according to the flow of the park. When in the parks use this along with the Universal app and you will have a great time. The Lines ride times were very similar to The Universal app, but Lines gives you forecasting suggestions to wait or ride anytime. Plus you can mark the rides completed and re evaluate your touring plan.

Worth every penny!

We used this site for 5 days at WDW parks 3 years ago and I just purchased again for our trip to UOR. I have never been an organized person, but this made planning so easy and it allowed us to do every single ride we wanted. It had everything planned for us down to the minute, but it could easily be changed by optimizing the plan at any time with the push of one button on my phone. I want something like this for all my vacations! We definitely got the most out of our vacation even with 4 kids from ages 2-13 at the time.

Great app for happy vacations!

I have used LinesUniversalOrlando at Disney World and Universal.

I love that we can put in what rides we want to go on and how many times we want to ride them and then LinesUniversalOrlando optimizes a plan for us.

I love that it adjusts based on crowd levels, so we have an accurate plan.

I love that it gives us a sense of what is possible and what is really not possible.

I love that I can customize the plan and save multiple versions of the same day.

I love that, mid-day, we can change our plans, and spend 5 minutes running scenarios through LinesUniversalOrlando to see which order gets us the most optimized day.

I love that it allows the flexibility to choose walking speeds so we can adjust for when my husband is taking the kids around or my elderly parents (or my disabled self) are joining the fun.

LinesUniversalOrlando has left us feeling that we got the absolute most out of our vacation, so it has contributed to our overall satisfaction and relaxation.

Can’t Live Without It

Our family has made many great memories at Disney and Universal! The places are truly magical!

BUT, both (especially Disney) can be overwhelming. Huge crowds, huge expense, hot weather, rain, tired kids, tired adults, etc. I’ve used Touring Plans and Lines since 2015 and would not attempt a Disney or Universal trip without the aid of a personalized plan from TP and the up-to-the- minute intel from Lines. Takes the stress out of planning and you can make adjustments to your plans on the fly. Outstanding tools! Consistently accurate and very easy to use.

Must have for any amusement park (when available)

If there’s a lines app for the park I’m going to, I’m definitely using it! It has not steered me wrong. I used it in 2015 for Disney World and I used it in 2022 for Universal Studios Florida. My suggestion for LinesUniversalOrlando team would be to be able to go to the ride details from the Touring Plan to see real time data and ride descriptor. I had to get out of my plan by going to the park and then finding the ride. Also, there should be a tab at the bottom for the days selected touring plan or just the present days plans. Just minor suggestions to help the user experience but I love the program! Top notch!

The one thing you need for your Orlando trip

My family has used LinesUniversalOrlando on three trips to Orlando parks over the past 6 years. We've used it in all the WDW and Universal parks and found it to be better/more accurate than the parks' apps. We've used it to plan our park days and saved a lot of time and aggravation. (Our greatest triumph was 2 years ago when the wait times to meet the Frozen princesses was always 150 minutes. I kept checking LinesUniversalOrlando and one time found it to be 20 minutes, zipped over and got in and out quickly. Made my 5 year olds' trip). LinesUniversalOrlando is worth the money! You spent hundreds on your park tickets - spend the extra $5 to get LinesUniversalOrlando and enjoy the parks to the fullest.

Easily worth the $

I decided to try LinesUniversalOrlando on a whim and have not regretted it for a moment. As someone who has almost no paid apps, a $7 purchase was a stretch, but I now strongly recommend LinesUniversalOrlando to anyone I know going to universal. The wait times are accurate (and includes single rider wait times), and maybe the most useful feature (that official Universal apps don’t offer) is the wait time “forecast” for later in the day (ex. “30 minute wait for Spider-Man right now; will be shorter after 5pm”) which is super useful for planning what you want to ride next and whether a longer wait is worthwhile.

It’s important to note: I am NOT a theme park “hacker” who is trying to maximize every single minute of every visit. I just like to enjoy the parks at my own pace and I still find LinesUniversalOrlando very useful for guiding my visit.

Excellent on the go & planning app

With the undependability of Universal’s app... this is my in park go to app! Always works in Park with wait times; food menus; show times; etc. Love the chat feature too; right up there with OI’s FB. Well done!
