Garden Plate Reviews

I downloaded garden plate thinking it was something different, but came to love the recipes on there. I have now tried several meals, snacks, and breakfasts in GardenPlate . Yes, it is mostly vegan, but I adjust the recipes as I think works. If I can add meat, sometimes I do. Being able to hit a button and GardenPlate add the ingredients to a shopping list makes my life so much easier. I just mark off what I have. I meal plan once a week and GardenPlate has been an amazing resource. It’s easy to navigate. I liked the free version so well that I bought the full version and have not regretted doing so. I usually never purchase apps or anything in them. GardenPlate, however, is so worth the money!

I love GardenPlate I think it’s great my only issue is I wish it gave you better instructions on how to cook the meal. Like it doesn’t give times on how long it’s supposed to be in the oven for and it doesn’t tell you what to put the oven at like 350? 270? Idk! If your more experienced with cooking this would be perfect but if your newer and don’t know everything like me consider another app it definitely come back to this one ☺️ as I will

I downloaded GardenPlate out of curiosity as I find it hard to come up with flavorful vegetarian meal ideas. This as is very user friendly, beautifully designed, and full of nutritional information. Still testing out the recipes, but will probably upgrade once I run out of recipes.

I appreciate GardenPlate and I M loving it. It’s not easy to make the leap or changes we need to be vegan and still get the healthiest nutrition possible, with GardenPlate it’s super helpful and less of a headache with planning.... that k you. Very grateful!

This is a really good app, and I want to give it 5 stars, but I find it clumsy and frustrating to navigate. If they can improve the usability, eliminating the times where I seem to be stuck without an option or menu to get off the screen I am on, then this would be a five star, great app. For reference, I am on an iPhone. Maybe this issue is specific to iOS only.

Nice recipes, great photos, helpful re shopping and meal planning. I’d like to be able to toggle the shopping list between By Recipe and By Aisle. I also avoid grains so I’d like to be able to exclude recipes with grains, or any I don’t like, so they no longer show as options.

Upon purchasing GardenPlate I was really excited to begin what I was hoping to be a new life style. As I’m going through the recipes I’m thinking I can do this and then I get to the locked recipes and find that if I’d like access to the recipes that I’m mostly interested in I need to pay again????
Why do I have to pay again ? For better recipes of course. So very frustrating and a bit disappointing.

I love the variety of gluten free vegan recipes. Healthy and fun to make for my family.

I don’t see why you bother locking your recipes for in app purchases...I can just google search the recipe title and find 10 other blogs with the same recipe 🤷‍♂️ good app, lots of great recipe ideas, but I can’t justify paying for something that’s free in abundance other places.

Going vegan for health reasons. I paid the 2.99 for premium. I think a lot of these meals are easy some I’m not interested because to many ingredients. But overall good for price!

I just downloaded GardenPlate & tried to review a few recipes; but couldn’t. Then saw they were “locked.” You must pay for the premium recipes!! False advertising. And no nutritional info — poor app.

I’m not gonna give it a bad review because GardenPlate seems great. Good amount of free recipes! it’s not for simple vegetarian meals. Not for me personally, I guess I’m picky but great app.

As free apps go, this has only a limited number of recipes compared to others.

I’m love GardenPlate. It is easy to sort depending on diet and there is a nice variety of recipes

I just purchased GardenPlate and some recipes listed under Vegan have ingredients like: chicken broth, honey and yogurt :/
The other recipes look great though.

Nice app. But you get few recipes and have to buy the rest. The recipes seem pretty simple and easy to make.

I hate how in order to save a recipe you have to subscribe and pay money. I love the recipes but it’s just not convenient.

Most are locked, meaning you must pay to upgrade GardenPlate and get them. Also, poor quality food photography. Much better food apps out there.

GardenPlate took away photo access on all of apps. Don’t download it. It has a virus built into it. The moment I deleted it and reset my phone my photo access came back for all my apps.

I would have given 5 stars but there’s not a lot of recipes
