Disappointing

Wanted to create account but UrbanPlates said my email was already associated with an account. Tried multiple times to use the “forget password “ to get an email to reset my password but UrbanPlates fails to send an email. I waited at least half an hour for an email. So UrbanPlates on my phone is no better than just going through the web as a guest.

UrbanPlates looks nice but it’s functionality obviously hasn’t been tested. Checking out as a guest is unintuitive, and super buggy. UrbanPlates locked up. I wasted 15 minutes trying to order at the table then had to go order anyway. Shame on you UP. Spend some $ on an experience hire that knows what they’re doing.

Makes you go through the whole process of picking your order then when you try to add your payment it doesn't take it and won't let you check out. Tried 3 different cards and each time it fails without giving any sort of error.

Better off going somewhere else.

First thing one must do when using UrbanPlates is select a nearby restaurant. I’m about three miles away from the *open* restaurant in Tyson’s Corner, VA butI’m told there are no restaurants near me. Too bad. I liked their food and found it reasonably priced.

Spent ages adding the order and then it said ‘oops something went wrong’ and lost everything. About to head to another restaurant.

Could not order food, tried to redownload app and couldn’t log in due to server error.

Agree with others that there should be a reward system for using UrbanPlates . The main issue that I have with UrbanPlates is that it stopped letting me input my payment information. When you order you’ll get a “Add Credit/Debit Card” option under Payment Method. Once you input everything and tap “Add Payment,” it will take you back to your order details. Yet, for some reason that page will still have “Enter Payment Info” grayed out and won’t let me order - despite numerous attempts to input my payment. Two stars because the menu and map work, but the order and payment interface is terrible.

The manager is super cool. Big lakers fan, friendly and kind.

I went to the register and I told the lady I wanted to use my plate pass and she was rude and snarky and told me to go to the table and order from there.

The problem is I had already waited in line. Major fail. Enough to turn me off about the experience.

Cancel plate pass now.

I love Urban Plates but unfortunately UrbanPlates is not very good. Constant crashes and updates, does not save previous orders, cannot input gift card information.

Get your act together, a bad or no app nowdays for a restaurant is a waste of potential earnings

I love this place, but I wish they have reward points like many nearby similar establishments (Tender greens, CAVA, chipotle, etc ).
Also for the kids menu, the steak does not allow you to choose how well done you want to cook it.

UrbanPlates and website are completely useless when paying by gift card, there is no option. Wild that given the uptick in pickup orders this past year they still haven’t created this functionality. It creates a poor user experience and will discourage people from buying UP gift cards. Aside from that UrbanPlates is fine!

We’ve eaten here a number of times. The food is very good. Ordering online the website encouraged us to order from UrbanPlates “as the easiest way to order!” No, no it’s not. UrbanPlates is buggy, couldn’t go back into a main dish and select the sides, tried going out and back in, still couldn’t get an order placed. We called out order in. I’m sure they’ll get this right eventually, as they run their business very well. But for now, sorry, UrbanPlates is half baked 😉 Update: Good for you for reaching out in an effort to improve! In answer to your questions , we tried to order via UrbanPlates a couple times and just phoned in our order in frustration. But no, I didn’t delete UrbanPlates . We’ll try again next time we eat at Urban Plates. You guys do a great job, so we’ll trust you’re improving UrbanPlates ;)

I’ve ordered this on Uber eats 40 times. Never fails. Only when I forget it at the door 😭 and it gets cold haha oh and their streak is super high quality !!

This was my very first time eating there this pass Sunday a good friend invited me out I’m from San Antonio Texas. It was the most wonderful food I have enjoyed it so much. Fresh and tasty!

The first iPhone had better built apps.
Super slow.
No auto fill.
No error correction.
No ApplePay.
Can’t see previous orders.
A million options to scroll through.
Terrible UI.
I won’t come back to the restaurant because of this. Sad.

The whole point I got UrbanPlates and it doesn’t work.

I don’t want popup ads. Uninstalling.

I selected a location. Ordered our food...had to go back into reduce quantity. I input my CC, etc. told my location did not work, etc. I just kicked me off. This happened a couple of times. And, I was not able to contact a live person to assist me. Please advise.
