It has option to skip the sign up but it only shows one restaurant which is in LA but very far from my location. I tried to sign up but it does not let me enter my last name and keeps buzzing error. No option to move to the last name section and no option to scroll down the screen. Not a very user friendly app.

Ask for phone number instead of e mail and if you skip, it will default to LA area and won’t be able to change. Thanks but no thanks

I can’t find anything listed in several states. I think NextPlate is only for LA. They need to specify that here on NextPlate store page

app has too many glitches and bugs. I cant even pick a campus location it’s just a blank white screen every time

I was never able to deal with any feature of the this app just because NextPlate crashes lol I unistalled and did everything but seems like it simply doesn’t work on iPhone 11 pro for some reason. All I could see was a glance of main screen

NextPlate requires you to give them a phone number and any old phone number won't work. These people don't tell you their data privacy before installing NextPlate on your phone. Also, there's no way to tell where (locations) NextPlate works. It's not in their website description. From what i found it only works in Los Angeles and Pasadena. And it took a lot of time to find out. Before i downloaded NextPlate and spent time trying to see if i could use it, it didn't say it doesn't work in San Diego - or that it was limited to Los Angeles and Pasadena. Wasted my time. Time is more valuable than their program. I'm not sure NextPlate saves any food from being wasted. Restaurants can PLAN and it looks like NextPlate lets them sell stuff to you at a price where they are willing to sell, so it's for profits and they decide how much they'll offer at the "discounted" price. Nothing is going to go in the garbage if you don't buy their little packages. They plan fine AT THESE PRICES. NextPlate creates hype for deal hunters so that they think they're getting a deal and the store simply makes and sells more product at prices they were already willing to take.

I am trying to create an account. I put in my phone number and never got the verification code. I tried multiple times. Please fix this in NextPlate .

No options in sight

I could not pass the signup stage, asked for first name, but, no matter what I typed in, it just won’t go to next step! Thus, 1 star!

Good idea in theory. Company states it has restaurants in LA and Pasadena. No restaurant locations in West Los Angeles or the Valley, both of which are Los Angeles. No way to search for restaurants outside of your location either.

This is only for California and if you're outside of that area it doesn't work for you

So I tried NextPlate out and I was wonderfully surprised of all the good deals that come with it. They offer discounted foods and that is exactly what I love. I am very glad I downloaded NextPlate and getting all the savings that come along with it. NextPlate works with restaurants to help reduce food waste and even offer meals at a discounted price. I am loving NextPlate and glad that I downloaded this.

My favorite restaurants are all on here and make coffee dates with friends so much more affordable!

So many good options to choose from! I’ve ordered multiple times and it’s been such a great deal! So easy to place the order and pick up. Tried to get Bottega Louie but it got sold out so quickly. Will look to try again soon! Great app, restaurants and deals.

Great app, user friendly and best of all, you save money and you help restaurants with food waste!

Getting an entire assortment of pastries from Dulce for $6 is still mind-blowing to me. It’s crazy to think all this would’ve gone to waste!

I love the concept of this! Food waste is a major problem and bringing awareness to reduce it, is great! Plus you are able to get good food at a discounted price and help the environment! It’s a win win!!

Two things I love, good food and cheap. With NextPlate I was able to get access to great food on my college budget! More places are signing up and I love it. Ps. Super easy and private to use.

Last semester, there was another app with a similar concept, but this one is definitely easier to use. Kudos if this is the same company.

I love the idea of saving food!! I learned over the years that food waste has a negative impact for the environment. I love that this apps gives me an easy access to restaurants around LA that have extra food for half the price! Save money, save food!

I downloaded NextPlate recently and I’m pretty impressed for a new app! They’re trying to reduce food waste by helping restaurants sell their end of the day food at up to 50% off! You can buy discounted mystery bags from local restaurants in LA to help reduce food waste!

NextPlate is just so great. You get to buy cheap but delicious food from the surrounding USC area. I’ve saved so much from the meals I buy on NextPlate ! And it prevents food from being wasted! What a great app! Good for the wallet and the planet! Would 100% recommend. App is also mostly glitch free.

NextPlate is so smart and there’s so many restaurants in USC Village that are available on there. The restaurants in village are all so expensive that I look forward to having an option to get delicious food for a much cheaper price. I got a full pork chasu rice bowl from Ramen Kenjo today for 4 dollars and it was just as delicious as the full price one. I will definitely be using NextPlate a ton in the future and I think is a great option for college students on a budget!
