Latest app update took you from a very good experience to poor one. I also use TD Bank and theirs used to be just OK compared to yours, now theirs has surpassed you. I just went to bill pay and it comes up as a webpage on the iPhone - font size about a 2 - and not a user friendly app interface the way it used to be - so you went backwards. I scratchy head when companies make updates like this because the negative change is so obvious.

AvidiaBank technically works. If you want to do something complicated, like pay a credit card bill, you should find a bank with a better app. If you want to deposit a check, AvidiaBank is great! Just make sure to do it early; Avidia takes several days to give you your money after they remove it from the originating account (they can earn extra interest on it this way). Oh, and don’t expect to find any paperwork or statements on AvidiaBank . Modern banks don’t offer that kind of service.

This new update is a not an upgrade. Creating a new UI layout for what purpose? Why does bill pay kick me out to in-app webpage? That doesn’t make me feel secure and I know I’m not the only one. Transfers are so slow in AvidiaBank now. What’s up with us having write short stories in our check memo lines just for mobile deposit? Seriously who was this for? Why can’t normal procedures that worked inside the old app get kicked to webpages now?

The updated app is not as user-friendly as the previous app. The information that we had at our fingertips is now more difficult to access and it’s not user-friendly through an iPhone. We need to constantly zoom into each page to be able to use them. This was not the case previously. I am hoping they will be additional updates to resolve user issues.

The old app gave you instant notifications when a transaction went through, but this updated version sends you an uniformative text up to 24 hours after the transactions were made. And good luck deciphering the wording to figure out how to set that up. We found the old notifications useful several times when our card was cloned and then used. Pretty sure if that happens again we won’t find out until long after. They also do not show pending deposit details at the same time the amount is added into your balance. Can’t figure out the logic there. Causes confusion until they catch up wondering why your balance seems off based on incomplete transaction details. Only giving this 2 stars because it tells us our balance (even if the account is not showing timely transactions). Overall the updates were poorly thought out given where technology is in 2024.

Avidia banks policy for writing
“For mobile deposit only at Avidia bank only” is asking for a lot and it’s too long. No other bank requires that much info. And then we have to write account number and sign.
ABOVE THE LINE! We are using your mobile site, and we are telling you where we want it deposited.
Check out other banks mobile sites. And please change your requests.

Pros: Update includes new self service features, making it easier to change contact information, message customer service. Cons: My transactions keep disappearing and reappearing — specifically direct deposit or account transfers — but sometimes reflect in the balance. It’s hard to understand what the real balance is. Don’t is also thin and hard to read.

There is no ability to see when you last paid a bill or any history for bill pay. Other bank apps show your last payment when you select that payer. Please add the feature as my memory is lacking! Thanks

Can do all my banking now through app.
Works seamlessly and fast, only complaint is what all banks do, instead of crediting my electronic deposits in a couple hours they hold it a couple days.
App is fine though.

This bank is fantastic. Even when you do have to go inside the people are very helpful. I never carry cash with me because this card is convenient and accepted at most places.

I love direct deposit of checks!!! It so easy and can be done 24/7 in your smart phone or tablet. Try it and you will love it as much as I do!!!

Love my Avidia app. I love being able to transfer funds between accounts and to deposit via mobile phone!

Always struggle with check pictures even with good lighting

I can’t say enough good things about my bank and app!!! I would be totally lost without it. I have moved out if their area and will not change my bank. I love it that much!

I can only login once a day with my iPad. On my iPhone sometimes once or twice. I can’t see the transactions numbers when i pay my bills, in the previous system I was able to.

I have a long time experience with Avidia, and I’ve never been disappointed.
Working with Avidia, I feel comfortable and safe.

Every single time I try to sign on to this god forsaken app it says connection timed out been happening for months. Really don’t understand how no matter how many times AvidiaBank is updated they can’t make it work. A little ridiculous if you ask me. Stop adding new features, why don’t you work on the stuff that doesn’t work on AvidiaBank before throwing more junk into the mix. SMARTEN UP AND FIX YOUR APP!

I like AvidiaBank but I wish when paying bills I don’t have to go back into the pay bill section for each separate bill. Also, I wish it gave a confirmation # for when you pay a bill.

Avidia is one my favorite banks to begin with and their app is great. I’ve had very few problems with it and find it works just fine with my LTE and even better with WiFi. Nothing like being able to access your funds at any time. Very useful for when you forget how little you left in your checking account!

Allows you to do most banking from home. Links your accounts, allows for parental controls, has overdraft, even pays atm fees from other banks! No complaints!
