HomeTown Bank of Alabama App Reviews

The actual inside of HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp is great! If only it would let me get to it. I forgot my password, but when I click to recover password, it gives me security questions I don’t know the answer to. I’m pretty sure they’re not the same security questions I chose when signing up, because it gave me four different ones, none of which I knew the answer to. Such as “what was your childhood nickname?”.... but I didn’t have a childhood nickname... “what was the name of your first stuffed animal?” I have no earthly clue what my first stuffed animal was or if it even had a name.
I went to the bank to fix this and they set me up with a whole new login, and a few months later, HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp booted me out and is doing the same thing AGAIN. I may have to switch banks because their app is broken. Sad, because the inside of HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp was so good and I enjoy the bank.

ive called 3 times about this and theyve been very helpful but i still cant use HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp , the website page to log in wont even load in safari. ive uninstalled HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp 5 times and updated my phone, and nothing had changed. this has been happening for almost a week.

Won’t work with my 8 plus anymore. I have to use the web browser on my phone to access it. My combination never works but it still considers it to be blocked access so they lock my account because their own app isn’t working. Ridiculous.

Forced update to a new iOS. We all know what that means, you gotta buy a new iPhone 7 for your phone to work right otherwise you just have to deal with the bugs that Apple gives you....

Give us back our old version!!!

Will only bring up the Hometown tree and shows it’s trying to load but never will. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times on 2 different phones, still will not work!

I’m really irritated. I talked to the bank 2 weeks ago. Nothing has changed.

It will bring up the hometown tree but nothing else.

HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp is ready for a update 😒

Hometown’s App has a lot to be desired. About one a month, you have to delete app and reinstall. This is a pain for a great bank to have for people to dread using their app. There are plenty of developers out there to have to put up with insufficient developers.

The apps depositing setting hasn’t worked the past 3 times I’ve attempted to use it and I’ve had to go up to hometown bank to deposit manually instead of quickly doing it on HomeTownBankofAlabamaApp . I’ve been waiting for it to be fixed and y’all have done a bug update but obviously it isn’t working.

Every time I try to log in it shows the opening of app just the logo and never goes where I can log in

I know this is just a bata app right now and it's being tested. But I have been with hometown of Pinson for five years now and I have been wait on this day. I'm very pleased with this bank and I will be a life time customer keep up the good work. Have a blessed day.
