OneMain basically allows you make a payment. You can not update bank info. You have to call in. You can not get a final payoff amount. You have to call in. Nearly anything you would want to do regarding a loan with these clowns requires a call to their office. Which almost totally negates the purpose of an app, or the internet for that matter.

The company is extremely frustrating to deal with. I tried to call in to make a final payment on my wife’s account and they refused to cooperate. Mind you our bank account is in both of our names, and the payment would have been the final one. Clearly this wasn’t fraud. But they still refused to take the payment. It wasn’t until the balance was down to 3 cents that they finally allowed me to pay. Mind you, they won’t give a payoff amount online, they require you to call in. When you call in, they have little interest in helping.

If you are looking for a simple and easy way to manage your loans, look no further than OneMain! I love how it is user-friendly and easy to navigate, I love how it looks clean and runs perfectly, and I love how it opens my this app Financial account, and places all my financial and loan information right at my fingertips. I also enjoy both the credit score and rewards features, as they let me see my credit score and rewards grow. I will say it again, if you are looking for a simple and easy way to track your payments, manage your statements, and take care of all your other financial responsibilities, OneMain is perfect for all that and more.

I applied for a personal loan and had a terrible experience. They asked for the same document again and again. Even I upload, they don’t find it. From the beginning of application, no agent contacted with me spontaneously. Every time I have to call to know about the status or what else I need to submit. Even I call, they keep hanging me on the phone after receiving the call. Sometimes they promised that they will callback within 15 minutes and never callback. At one point I expressed my anger about this disturbing service and they immediately cancel my application without reviewing properly. Not recommending this app. There are so many good other options in the financial market.

I wanted to know my pay off amount. This was requestable before via OneMain as I have done it before. Where did it go? Why remove it? Ridiculous. Your app is failing miserably in appeasing it’s customers when OneMain is literally just something that takes up space on our phones and lets us make a basic payment.

I thought that I just needed to update OneMain , so I did- and now, I can’t even login! It just keeps saying there was an error and they’ll “fix it immediately” i have tried waiting and then trying again, I have disconnected from my WIFI, I have turned my phone off and restarted it. Still won’t let me sign in!

I should not have to call just to know how much I still owe on my loan! This should be readily available information to the customer!!

Fix your app! Add the request payoff amount button back! Why get rid of it in the first place?

The only gripe I have is, before you hit the submit button you don’t get a review page to let you check for errors. I made a mistake because of a decimal point and accidentally sent $2000 instead of $200. They were kind enough to waive the fee but it cause a nightmare for me at the bank. Make sure you double check the decimal placement because once you hit Submit it’s done.

I guess your app makes it easy to submit a payment if you are already set up with you bank account information on OneMain . It is fast. But don’t expect to be able to read anything in full like your due date. It is partially there. I can see the month but not the day. I think is not very nice appearing. It’s boring that way but it is a payment app so I wouldn’t think colorful would be a concern for the makers of OneMain . Thank you

The only thing I can do is make a payment and look at existing payments that I have made. I don’t wanna call the office to ask them anything else that they claim to have on OneMain. Hey you wanna know your pay off click here. SURPRISE call the office, it’s useless! Not only that then I have to deal with them calling me trying to get me to borrow more money ummmmmm NO THANK YOU but THANK YOU

The purpose of having access to an app is to have the ability to make changes or modifications without having to call the customer service line. OneMain is meaningless, almost every link says “the fastest way is to call” and it displays the number. The one link that provides you an email to contact customer service states they will cal you back in about two days. Totally defeat the purpose of emailing, to begin with. I can see my balance on my statement, no need for an app that barely does that.

This company is polite at first but as time turns the interest rates stay extremely sharply at 35% if your credit doesn’t improve. During COVID 19 I also found this was one of the only companies that did not lower the APR or even offer a deferred payment. Very disappointing and sad. When times get difficult another technique they practice is to put your car up on collateral for a tittle loan putting people into more crazy 40% APR debts. I truly pray folks don’t get involved with these folks.

The reason why I’m giving OneMain one star. Is do to the fact that you can’t see how much interest accrued. All there is a circle with a exclamation mark, just to tell what interest is. Also the design could be 10,000 times better it is very poor. Please update OneMain , to where you can see how much interest has accrued on the loan. Please at least make OneMain design better and why does a 4 year old need to use a Financial app ages 4 and up to use that app. That’s stupid. Please update.

OneMain is fine with me except, just as soon as you sign out of OneMain , the Face ID immediately appears signing you back in before you can leave OneMain . There should be a pause page so that Face ID doesn’t appear until OneMain is reopened. Thanks

I would like to see my true balance not the balance including the interest. Because I pay more to my loan I want to see my actual balance. It’s so inconvenient to keep calling. Can you please update OneMain to show your true balance as well? That’s the only downfall.

Every time I log in it does not recognize my device even though I use the same device every time. It then asks me security questions of which I’ve never seen. Then it locks me out and I have to wait on the phone with a representative to have my account unlocked. It rarely works after that. I have better luck with the website.

I use OneMain sparingly. Now it won’t recognize my device and the check payoff amount feature has been removed. I should not have to call the office just to see my payoff total right?

I was forced to update OneMain because of the red warning on top of screen indicating that I had to update to the latest version. After update, I keep getting same warning box telling me to update which I already did , when trying to log in . If you’re going to force customers to update the new at least make sure OneMain works. Or get new IT people that know what they’re doing !

Update: the “request payoff” option came back.....for a few weeks, not sure how long but it’s gone again! Poorly designed app.

What happened to the “request payoff” option? It’s no longer part of OneMain . The best part of having apps like this is so you don’t have to make a phone call to get this info. Bring it back!

One reason we use app is not to deal with customer service. OneMain wants you to contact CS for everything.

Terrible app. When you have the large font on OneMain crunches all the information together making it even worse to view. No way to sign documents needed. Not everyone owns a computer to do that.

OneMain continually sends verification questions when attempting to login. I can understand the verification for security reasons, however the QUESTIONS THAT ARE BEING ASKED WERE NOT CHOSEN WHILE SETTING UP OneMain !😡

Seriously guys!!! You would think that they would fix OneMain so it would work properly.

Long story short I travel a lot. I have been able to access my account no matter where I’ve been thus far. However over the past month I can’t even access my account in the states nevertheless overseas. I can’t even put any extra payments on my loan. It’s ridiculous.

OneMain is not remembering login information. I have the sliders turned on to remember my login information and it is not. Also OneMain should have the option to use FaceID and automatically log you in to your account once it is set up. Please update OneMain. I have deleted OneMain and reinstalled it also I have had to factory reset my phone a few time and set it up as new because of other issues and still OneMain does not remember login information or log you in automatically.

Fire your engineers! As an engineer, OneMain is offensive. Your engineers don't even know how to parse JSON and OneMain fails to log in your users because of it. What a joke!!!!! Hahaha...if the login experience is this bad, I can only imagine how many holes they have in securing our personal data. Fresh target for hackers! Enjoy and please don't use my info!

It’s an easy and simple way to manage your loans make payments and that you like the biometrics authentication

After installing update OneMain doesn’t even allow me to type in user name or password it’s useless.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times reboot phone and still doesn’t work!

Cannot see recent payment info.
Only use OneMain to look at statements

Twice pre-approved for a personal loan on a soft pull do I did a hard pull. That’s when they only offer a secured car loan. Are u crazy with rates like those! Bait & switch.

Can’t see any of the log in info

Just took out a third loan with this app/previously SpringLeaf and have a perfect payment history with all loans paid in full within 6 months of open. Absolutely the worst "app" I've come across for any even halfway decent financial institution. Constantly freezes with the this app logo spinning, any profile updates are not saved and you can't even see payment history on a loan. You can sure as hell make a payment though which says where this banks priorities are. The local branch has been great to deal with, but whoever is responsible for this so called "app" do us all a favor and get rid of it until it's actually worth using. Extremely disappointing for such a large organization to have such a remedial and non-functioning "app"! I'll definitely keep this in mind should I ever consider future business!! COMPLETE FAILURE and this app should be ashamed to call this their official "app"!!

The strategy of this company is to make things increasingly difficult in regards to making payments, and OneMain is simply a tool towards that purpose. While trying to make a payment through OneMain , OneMain prevents you from using the Paste function of the iPhone in order to paste your Springleaf account number. This forces you to have to navigate back and forth between the Springleaf app and wherever you have your account number stored on your iPhone. Secondly, it fails to process the payment after you fill out all the information. It returns an error reading that the 'Session Expired'. OneMain should serve as evidence in the eventual investigation of this company.

This new design is the most ridiculous app I’ve ever come across. Its even worse than my credit union and they are a small bank. The design looks like it was made by a child, it has zero functionality. It just lets you make a payment that’s it!! The contact us button lets you send a message but you don’t even know who its going to. I’ve paid my bill and its still showing a balance for a date that has already past. The money has been taken out of my account. With the amount of interest you are making off of everyone’s loan you would think you would be able to hire someone who can develop a decent app.

I've never really taken the time to write reviews for applications but my gosh, how inconvenient OneMain has been. Takes about a minute to load into my profile sometimes, then when I try and look at my statement, I'm waiting about 2 minutes, until t says that my records cannot be accessed at this time. When I go to payment information, I cannot see my payment due, date due which requires me to go back and look at my statement, go figure what happens. I really wish for this reason I could have another loan somewhere else, not like the rates are the greatest even with a lien. Will try to get out of this ASAP!!!

It has now been 10 days since I made a payment and it is still showing I owe my bill and the incorrect amount. This is very frustrating! I like to log in frequently on things I owe to make sure my payments have posted and my balance is going down correctly. There is no way to see this because every time I log in It is still saying I own my bill. Makes me feel like you took my money but didn’t credit it correctly! With technology now days this isn’t hat hard to accomplish! Please update your online stuff and OneMain !

Are you kidding me? I actually know my user name and password. There is no place for you to input that information. Instead, they force you to put in your account number, name and last 4 SSN digits. Then the link on the bottom which is supposed to take you to the full website doesn't work! Please get a clue from Capital One or Barclay and make a real app. This is supposed to make things easier, not make you want to shoot yourself. Disgusting excuse for an app.
