I am checking up on my travel agent. I get no response from the RIU in aruba. Just need to be sure my hotel is booked and paid for.
FIRST THING FIRST I HAVE STAY AT THE RIU IN A LOT OF PLACES JUST GOT BACK FROM ARUBA ACHILLES THE STAFF WAS GREAT FOOD GREAT BUT I THINK THE RIU SHOULD HAVE TOLD THE CUSTOMER THAT THERE WAS A NEW HOTEL BEING BILT RIGHT NEXT DOOR GETTING UP AT 6AM EVERYDAY BY A AIR HORN GOING TO THE POOL AND THE MUSIC SO LOUD THAT YOU COULD NOT TALK TO THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU TO DROWN OUT THE NOISE COULD NOT USED THE BALCONY BECAUSE OF THE DIRTY AND DUST AND THE AIR HORN GOING OFF EVER TIME THE CRANE MOVER THE POOR MAID I WAS TIPPING HER 2 OR 3 TIME A DAY AS SHE TRY TO KEEP THE BALCONY CLEAN THE DIRT AND DUST WAS EVERWERE POOL FURNITURE DECK FURNITURE TRYING TO EAT OUTSIDE WAS A JOKE SORRY BUT THIS TIME THE RIU WAS MORE ABOUT THE MONEY THEN THE PEOPLE NOT LOOKING FOR A REIMBURSEMENT OR ANYTHING BUT THEY SHOULD BE SOMETHING I CAN GET FOR THE BAD AND MOST WORST VACATION I HAVE HAD AT A RIU
I have been waiting for over 14 days for a link to reset my password on the App, i have sent over 5 requests from a combination of the App and on line via a PC, still no link received from any of them . How can I access the App ? Useless Support.
We vacation often at the RIU hotels in the D.R. and Jamaica. Over the last two years we have had problems with their pricing. Our friends from Canada get reduced rates compared to the U.S. With their price guarantee I thought they would match our Candadian friends cost, but they would not even when the billing was in U.S. dollars. So beware of the cost, customer service refused to honor the price guarantee.
I have been using the RIU Resorts for years. I escort groups as well as sell through Funjet vacations to my other customers. I just got back from the RIU Montego Bay with a group and while the resort was in my expected beautiful condition and the food was top notch, I noticed a disturbing trend for your resorts--the alcohol selection was very bad! I had a group at the RIU Republica last year and chocked it up to Covid and supply issues. You can't keep using that excuse. I think you found a way to save money hoping that people didn't care that much so I have asked all my customers to write you and say that isn't so. You list on your web site "serving international--top brands" and that is not true. They are all domestic bottles that even when we asked for something better, the bartenders said that they wish they had the brands they used to have. I feel that if no one says anything, you assume it's OK. Some of us really enjoy a good quality alcohol in our drinks. I have a group of 54 going to the new RIU Kukulkan March 29th and will decide if I keep selling your hotels. I am looking at the RIU Palace Paradise Island for next years group and have a small group flying home from there today that I have asked them to take pictures of the bottles of alcohol you are serving. I hope it's better!

Your Riu Class website is AWFUL!!! Telephone numbers go nowhere. Reservation people do NOT know anything about Riu Class information and are of NO help with Riu Class questions. Your hotels are great, but your I.T. SUCKS!!!!!! Why are you people not any more helpful to your customers???

I made a booking directly with Riu. I was encouraged to download the app and obtain more details about my stay. I have tried on multiple days and I canโt even access my booking. Without that, I canโt obtain information or make reservations. Unfortunately the person who completed my booking did not have answers to many of the questions I asked and while he put me on hold for extended periods of time, he was not able to get somebody to answer the phone at the resort. I leave in a few days and still have no answers. This is incredibly disappointing and I hope it is not indicative of the vacation that I am going to have.
I wish there were a way to give it zero stars.

The app is not useful at all!! Iโve recently booked my first trip with RIU and I canโt even see my booking without having to go find the booking number from my email to enter it along with other information in the app. I guess I made the mistake of booking before signing up? Even so I should be able to add the booking after the fact. Iโve never stayed at a RIU before so this is my first experience with this company and I certainly hope this app isnโt a reflection on the company as a whole.

No functionality. Cannot look up my trip that is booked for August. Keep saying there is an error. Cannot get through to someone on phone either. Had a special request to suggest and it would be nice to be able to access some of the options the app is said to have.๐๐ป
