Login screen doesn’t work, keyboard doesn’t appear to type login Id. Please fix it.

I downloaded mPassportSeva to apply for reissue of my passport. I had already registered on the website. While trying to log-in on mPassportSeva , keyboard doesn’t come up. I don’t care about UI being ancient but atleast it should be functional.

Login screen is not even allowing to enter anything in IOS device

The UI is like decade old and I cannot even login on my phone, to replicate ( click existing users login-> in the login Id field I cannot get my keypad open to even enter the text).

Hope this will be fixed in next release.

Please update mPassportSeva so that we can use the service, there is no point in having mPassportSeva which doesn’t work.

Hope Indian government got mPassportSeva made for free, when I tap on Existing User Log In, and then tap on log in ID field I don’t see the keyboard, how did they release mPassportSeva with out testing first step in the process ?

Hi I am trying to log in but on the log screen the key pad is not showing to type the user name.
mPassportSeva is not working properly I use iPhone11

I tried multiple times but I can’t login as an existing user. Keypad never comes up for me to type in the user id. I’m not sure if anyone in this world have successfully logged in via mPassportSeva.

When user want to enter login id keyboard doesn’t come up. So it useless app from the startup only..
I think team doesn’t make sure testing is done properly.

Better not to provide such apps. Or if at all you are saying you are advance then Developers of mPassportSeva should try/test logging in themselves before making it live for users.. !!!!!
Untested app launched for wasting users time..!!!

I will not go with layout and design. App should be basic functional to work on. I m not able to see the keyboard when login screen appears. Tried copying from the text and paste in login.. he’ll no movement.. at least make it workable..

It is very sad to see such app developed by public private partnership. I am amazed that they don’t even do basic quality checks after they develop app? I bet that students will even make better app than this. When I hear that India is tech country I really don’t want to accept that fact being an Indian and having such basic troubles. They successfully manages websites and apps for international companies and they do such trash work for Indians. This shows how slave our mentality is still present day!

I opened my account via website , which great but I can not login vis mobile app as the keypad doesn’t show. Now this mobile site is maintained by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) , the IT giant . Please take a look and fix the bug. Its called maintenance and our IT companies are very good at it !!

Logging in mPassportSeva is impossible.. You have to hit existing user multiple times and then it MAY open the page where you can key in your login info.. however, you cannot key in anything as the keyboard doesn’t pop up at all.. Such a waste..

As stated in another review, the UI seems to be very old and the keypad doesn't come up to type. Its very unfortunate to see that a country with the highest amount IT skilled workforce to present such poor tech apps. Please reach out if we can enhance such capabilities and I am sure there will be millions who would like to develop apps just for the love of the nation. Jai Hind!

This is one of the worst app that I have ever seen. I couldn't login with my correct credentials and it locked me. I have tried to open it in my phone and tablet but no sucess. Same issue is with the website. The interface is terrible and this needs immediate attention. This is a government owned app and it is reflecting the image of India not in a good way.

The apps looks really bad and also works terribly. It needs some basic aesthetic changes and beautification. It is full of bugs and should be fine tuned. mPassportSeva is handling services related to probably the most important document one can have, something which is nationwide and should look like that.

It’s a shame that an IT Guru such as India has a pathetic website for its external affairs especially the passport/visa services. What makes the whole thing even fishy is that this website is maintained by one of the top IT firms in the country. The same IT firm that successfully manages the IT services and infrastructure for top businesses around the globe. The issue is not just with mPassportSeva, the website itself looks like a 1993 developed website by some amateurs developer. I would have given mPassportSeva a rating of -10 but the lest we can go is one star.

The graphics are outdated and UI is obsolete. It does not work well with my iphone 4 as some of the options aren't visible.
Please update!!
This could change the way how Indians apply for passports! Kudos for the effort.

App looks good. But needs better graphics esp 3x and needs to fix navigation or other ui where ui elements gets misplaced when going back and forth.

It's a great leap!!! Progress and process takes time specially for a big and diverse nation like us.... Thanks to Our MeA minister and team for making things happen easier for us.
