** App Store's Editor's Choice ** *From the team at ORIGINATOR - the creators of the beloved Endless Alphabet and Sesame Street's Monster at the End of This Book and Another Monster.... Originator is a team of passionate artists and engineers dedicated to the best education+entertainment apps for kids.* As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures. Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky! ** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. ** Features: - 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase. - Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way. - Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition). - 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus makes letters and words react in an extra special way! - Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

Autistic/Nonverbal Child Approved

My son is 4 and has mild autism but for the most part is non verbal. I downloaded the free trial of this (and numbers) and he adored it. Coupled with his other therapies he receives at school, he began talking a few words, recognizing his alphabet and almost saying all the letters- that's 3 weeks after he started playing this app. It works for him. It keeps his attention- the constant interactive nature along with repetition of the letters, their sound in that particular word, and the whole word itself clicks in his brain. I ended up buying the full version and he doesn't mind if I lock him in with Guided Access on his iPad. Awesome job on this app!

Love this app!

My son has struggled to read with his developmental delays. This app is wonderful & so much fun! It's great to have another tool to encourage letter sound recognition & sight words. Not sure why there is some negative reviews on here about needing light up words and letters needing to be placed in order. Kids don't learn in uniform. They do much better with non restrictive, creative learning. The whole point of grabbing the letters is to hear the letter sound, see the letter and then create the word. Which is then put in a sentence. It's about sound frequency and letters. We love it and it's been paramount in my child's development!

Love this app so much!

We got this app when my daughter was two. She needed help dragging the letters to the spot so we’d play together. She’s been playing it for a year and a half now and every time she plays she learns more. She now know her letter sounds, she can spot read the words! She loves watching the cute monsters do stuff over and over like bake cookies! We ended up buying the $15 upgrade. Worth every penny!! We also bought the endless numbers and the robot game from this app maker she loves and learns all three apps!
