DEAD TRIGGER 2: Zombie Games Reviews

I played the first dead trigger and was very impressed and the sequel is twice as entertaining. But I feel like that there needs to be changes within the games. For the China region the first mission is “hi shanghai” I get the pun but Shanghai is like on the other side of China compared to where the mission is. Next thing is the in-game currency balance. It seems like after a mission my money is already gone. For beginners you really have to save up to flourish in the game. After a mission I need to upgrade my guns (which can cost fortunes) because the virus is mutating faster than Usain Bolt. I like the game to actually reward a little more to the player for them to actually catch up. One other thing is weapons. There’s is definitely more cooler weapons and a bigger variety compared to the last game, however blueprints is not given at a quantity you expect. You can only get blue prints by killing elite zombies and you can only get one out of the whole mission (sometimes you can get two) I understand the developers trying to balance the whole thing out, but it just takes too long. After you complete a campaign mission ,which always drops you a blue print, it takes like 10min to unlock the next mission. You eventually put it off because our attention span is like a bird. What I suggests is that the game gives players chance to play missions that allows them to get blueprints.
Or even to crates that you open by using gold or daily reward.

This game is very fun and entertaining, and there’s a lot to do. But there’s also a lot missing. I, for one, would very much like to see NPC interactions besides defense missions (i.e. talking to each other via comms, or maybe even a first person hideout). Also, weapons are very annoying to get. In my previous two accounts, I had already beaten Africa by the time I found my THIRD Ithaca blueprint. Character customization could be a huge opportunity to do what a lot of other games don’t. Even if it’s just hair, skin, and gender, it’s still adds a new level of originality and personality to each player. I definitely think this game could also benefit from an armor system. Adding in helmets and pads could add a new grind to the game (and possibly another opportunity for in-app purchases) and players could finally stylize their character. Finally (and I’m not sure if they did add this, as I just made a new account), there should be some sort of clan system. Some sort of group within the game where you can organize and execute special missions and unlock powerful weapons and gear. You could also have 2-3 clan mates in the Arena at a time, which could lead to higher rounds and higher rewards, along with teamwork skills and possible new opportunities for lower players. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game, but I don’t love the repetitive and isolated feel of it.

Everything about this game is really good for how long it’s been active, but I have some new ideas that will make this game much better. Add new zombies, make a harder difficulty for those who wish to play in a harder game mode, add a different way to get gold besides the gamboling, maybe like a daily level of some sort. Also make hubs stronger and also zombies harder, maybe add a boss level in there every time you get to level 10 or 5 the bosses increase as you level up to 15 or 20 so on and so forth. Maybe change what the people say in the game and actually make it a passage rather then a line, and that ties in with when you beat the mission they say something hit it ends mid way through a sentence. Thank you developers for your time this does not have to be taken as an immediate report or fix just a way to maybe add something interesting in the game or harder maybe increase the missions instead of leaving us on. A cliff hanger, those missions all around the world is what I mean.

Okay I'm fine with a couple of ads here and there but AFTER EVERY MISSION!? NO!!! After every, and I mean EVERY mission there is an ad! I'm not saying you have to completely take away the ads (even though that would be awesome) I'm just saying reduce the amount you of ads that pop up!! Seriously it's annoying!! Just make it so there aren't as many ads! Okay? Like maybe one or 2 ads from time to time okay? Okay! ALSO can you add a record button because there was some great moments of killing Z's and I REALLY wanted to save them to my photos! So PLEASE add that! Btw can you decrease how much money it takes to upgrade the tech? Because I am NOT gonna spend 350,000 JUST to upgrade my tech/gun guy/engineer/hot nurse lady/gold guy! It was hard enough collecting 180,000!! And decrease the amount of time it takes for tech/gun guy/engineer/hot nurse lady/gold guy to upgrade too? Because I'm sorry but it takes 3 WHOLE DAYS JUST TO BE COMPLETED? I need new stuff man I can't wait that long to get new stuff!! Also maybe make an option for like escort missions to pick who you want to come along with you, I dunno just a thought. When at least the ads, money cost and time wait are decreased then I will make it 5 stars but for now it's 3

This is the best zombie killer game I have played for my phone. Has a good storyline, good graphics, etc… I do have a couple of issues: 1. The wait times are long to upgrade both weapons and the other characters. The scientist, for instance, is taking over two days to go from level five to level six. Everything else is based on the level of the scientist. This means that no game progression can be made for two days. Now you could use gold to speed up the process, but acquiring 361 gold in this game is very unlikely. 2. The mutating virus. Yes the virus mutates and the zombies get stronger. But you couple that with the slow progression and this game gets tough. I think there are some fixes and then this game would be five stars. You could have speed ups for the level ups process. Heck, you could sell them. You could have the weapon level up be a little faster. If you are going to mutate zombies this fast, you should have the weapons at least come close to matching. 3. The storyline is good but WAY to short! Thanks for reading!

This is becoming ridiculous!! The next iPhone will be coming out in a few months but their app is STILL not optimized for the iPhone X!!! Sometimes I am playing and the screen gets cut off at the bottom and I have no choice but to relaunch DEADTRIGGER2 and start again losing whatever progress I made during the mission that I was playing. It’s a fun game but there are just WAY TOO MANY splash screens advertising tournaments. I literally have to go through at least 5 of them before I can even interact with the game. I have to keep tapping on the back button to close them. Also there should be a way to dismiss the “watch video for a mysterious treasure”. These things are becoming VERY ANNOYING! I have purchased several in-game purchases but it seems like I still have to deal with advertisements for tournaments which I don’t care for. Otherwise I really enjoy playing the game. I am so annoyed by these things I have dropped my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars!!

No opportunity to earn enough gold to purchase upgrades. If you want to upgrade your weapons, or anything else, in a reasonable amount of time you have to pay. Otherwise you wait 10-15days for an upgrade.

System has been very glitchy, often it will shut down in the middle of a game, or report an incorrect time limit for a challenge, or simply freeze up.

Boring - the tournaments are lame it’s the same board and zombies keep coming in waves. But in each wave they become more difficult to kill. By the 5th or 6th wave Mk 11 weapons have minimal efficacy. The best part about the game is finding the hidden firecrackers/presents they do during holidays only. The rest of the time they have hidden farm animals, the problem is they don’t tell you how many per board. You also can’t make specific upgrades to your firearms. For example you can upgrade the level but not the ammo capacity or firing rate. Plus when you upgrade the weapons level the zombies’ level increases as well making it a wash. Better challenges, better rewards. The current challenges are lame and offer no real incentive. For instance, complete 350 games for 10 gold pieces, but you need 100s of gold for a single upgrade.

Add all the zombies (normal and special z’s) you had in the original Dead Trigger, and cut the waiting times by 20-35%, and please add more to the campaign, with an additional story that can start in Russia, where you try to find a cure. Another thing you could do is make an option to accessorize your guns with special sights and lights, lasers and barrels(suppressors, silencers, and muzzles). For the most part I think you guys should just add different iron sights, and make one or two sniper rifles available for non-mounted weapon levels, one could be from WW2 and one could be modern. If you add lasers but no option to accessorize, put a red on on the Scar, and a green one on the M4. The first thing I mentioned to work on would be the zombies, because that’s the easiest thing to do, then add more to the campaign. Bye! Dead Trigger Forever!

I got this game years ago. At the time all there was was North America and Africa for a campaign. I decided to get the game and to my surprise, there was so much to do! I I do agree that there could be a character selection/customization in the game and could make the game more fun.

There isn’t much for you guys to work on but there is one reason I had to write this review. In the China campaign there is a level/stage called “Can’t touch this.” As I finished killing the Z’s a Larger one appears just to destroy a machine a guy I was protecting was working on. Right as the large zombie hits the machine my game crashes. When I get back on the game hasn’t updated and I have to do it all over again. This keeps happening and I don’t know what to do.

Overall this game is amazing. I would love to see more from this game and hope to see the level fixed. Great Job Dead Trigger 2!

The game is fun and addicting and I enjoyed playing it, but I haven’t been able to play it for a couple of weeks now because it keeps crash every time i try to open it. I sent a request for them to ask them to resolve it for me and they said they would come out with a fix for it the next day, but I still don’t see a fix and am still encountering the same problem.

Also, if I were to offer some suggestions, longer campaigns and more story would be fun rather than only having to do thousands of redundant missions to level up, which gets boring after awhile. If there were extension packs where we could continue to use the character that we have invested so much time in leveling up and all the weapons we have bought and leveled up as well that would be fun to carry on the campaign further or have new campaigns.

Also, would be more fun if we could form teams with friends to do missions together.

Hello Madfinger Games. I love this game and have been playing it since it was first on DEADTRIGGER2 Store. The effort put into this game is noticeable, but I do have suggestions for improvement.

I’ve met many fellow players who take interest in the game, but they quickly get bored because of the game’s repetitiveness. Even I have to admit that the game has become repetitive, and that’s why I suggest an update. This update should include

1.) New weapons (like a flamethrower),and perhaps even some sort of creative weapon system, maybe something like being able to fuse weapons, or at least customize them.

2.) New zombies. This could be anything from zombie dogs to creepy crawly zombies or zombie piranhas.

3.) New maps and more ability to interact with them somehow.

4.) Character customization.

5.) New game modes.

6.) Multiplayer.

These are just a few suggestions. I understand that this game is old and that you’re probably more focused on newer games as well as future projects. But many people love this game, including myself (there’s a reason why it has over a hundred million downloads after all) and that’s why we would love to see it get an update to be an even better game. Thank you to the Dead Trigger staff and mad finger games for making such a great game and having such excellent customer support. I recently just got my level 60 account back but I have spent years playing on since it came out on Facebook. This is my favorite first person shooter mobile game and I am so happy to be able to play again. If you want to good time killer play this. It may take a while to level up and unlock weapons and stuff but once you do the game becomes so much more fun and the challenges and levels get harder and the zombies get tougher and the campaign just keeps getting better and better. A good looking game on the surface, BUT..... disappointment! Once you start to get higher in the game upgrades take 3-4 days, YES DAYS! A player already spends days collecting money to upgrade because rewards are so low and then 3-4 more days to finish upgrades? Are you kidding? Ridiculous. And I only achieved Tech Level 6 before I got frustrated. I can’t imagine how long it takes to upgrade in higher levels. Additionally, once you do achieve Tech Level 6 (Russia), the game runs out of missions. So what is the point in continuing to play to try and upgrade? There aren’t any more missions? Plus it takes 600,000 credits to upgrade to the next level. That will take 4-5 days with the low payouts you get for missions, plus Level 7 takes 4 days of waiting for the upgrade to complete. Not worth it just to see if there are more playable missions on level 7. Delete. I don’t know about you, but I am not going to drop $100 to buy the giant gold and money pack for an iPad game. I paid less for SW Battlefront and Battlefront II combined for PS4. Missed the mark Madfinger.

I have mixed feelings about dead trigger 2. The gunplay and moment to moment gameplay is great. Mission objectives are generic but varied, you know what your getting into without needing to read descriptions. Missions feel way too short in the campaign, ending in weird places as if it was a cod mission split up into many smaller pieces. You also have to wait 20 minutes between story missions which only makes it more difficult to understand the story. Text boxes show up in the center of the screen blocking my view non stop. Blueprints are given often enough but their contents are random. So you may spend weeks trying to get a gun but end up with 5 other weapons half complete because you don’t choose. There are just some weird design choices here, some are obviously out of greed. But overall it’s a fun game just don’t go into it expecting fast progression or anything revolutionary.

Games has great graphics and the audio is top notch. However, the game lacks intensity compared to other good shooter games. After the second campaign and becoming familiar with the game as the campaigns are too short and too easy even at the most difficult setting- I m no game wiz. The worst part is the time you have to wait to upgrade-up to 10 days?! I understand it’s a business but make it more interesting and difficult. I realize the limitations of a mobile game compared to the game console and the five campaigns are much too short and the missions become repetitive. Another downside is the tournament. Even though you have 200 plus health, you die as soon as you are touched by a zombie and you never know why and how I was killed. The five campaigns are so short it feels like one level on a console game like the Call of Duty. Good game overall but it can be great by adding more campaigns and increasing the difficulty level.

Great gameplay. Love the auto shoot and levels. The game seems a little pay to play. It takes forever to keep missions goin due to the timers on things. I think an upgrade takes way too long, I mean a lvl 5 tech takes nearly 2 days to upgrade? I suppose if your a rich celebrity or dentist you can afford to pay to play, but at the cost cod zombies would be better to play. If your someone who solemnly buys what he needs for the game like 5 or 10 bucks, this is not the game for you. I think the money gold system is a little imbalanced you should be able to buy more with cash and special things with gold. Also multiplayer would sweeten the deal completely with the super long upgrade timers. But it doesn’t. So in the end it’s nearly just a time killer. Bring a book. Great game play I mean don’t get me wrong, the timers ruin it for me completely. One of the best FPS shooters tho, cant wait to see what the future holds.

First off this is great game, I downloaded it 3 weeks ago and been playing everyday. It’s entertaining and the zombies aren’t super overpowered like other shooter games. I love the fact that there are in-game purchases but you don’t feel like you need to do that in order to progress with the game at any point. The reason I gave it three stars is that the storyline missions stopped after South America/tech rank5. For every tech rank you upgrade you get a new part of the map to play that have storyline missions and then generic missions to help build up cash to upgrade weapons etc. There are 11 tech ranks but only 5 of them contain different missions for the storyline. While you can still unlock all the tech ranks/ parts of the map, there’s really no need to as you would only be playing the same generic missions just in different areas. It’s an AMAZING game just really needs more content!!

The game is great and addicting and so fun to play, but the only problem is the optimization for iPhone X. The screen is stretched and zoomed in way too far, and even gets cut off because of the front camera notch. It almost makes the game unplayable for me because the buttons and controls are all messed up now, it is so hard to navigate the screen. To make it worse, whenever I pick up blueprints, I have to force quit the game (and ultimately lose my progress) because the “accept” button is cut off from the screen, so the blueprint just stays on the screen with nothing that I can do. It’s super frustrating and annoying because I love this game. I seriously hope the developer fixes this soon because it is a great game and because of these issues, I haven’t been able to play.

This is one of the best games I’ve played so far so much content and so much fun but mad finger here’s something I think you should add! Costumes. Now it would bring so much hype and a way to do this is on holidays you make special costumes and like the Christmas special where you had to find all the presents you have to find present to unlock the costume and a gun maybe. this would be so cool if you did this. Also another thing you say is more check levels and more states like maybe Antarctica or something. I think this because some people might be maxed out and they need to find something to do other than tournaments so I think it will be pretty fun for them because I’m only tech level 4 and they need more content.

First of all I am a lvl 47 player and this is one of the best shooter games ever. But there is a few tweaks you can do such as adding more bullets to the minigun (the funniest gun ever),adding more shotguns, having futuristic weapons would also be cool ( but a very rare blueprint drop), more special weapons, and maybe even armour. Here is some explaining of the armour can give you boost to different weapon types, block an entire amount of damage while wearing down, or block a percentage of damage. I would also love to see a something like a riot shield so you can shield bash zombies and use certain weapons with it. I would also love a continuation of the campaign because it ends at South America. Also less ads would be amazing. There are many things you could do to this game to make it better and more fun hopefully you will do this.
