Cannot Get It To Connect

Was bragging to my sister about my Bluetooth OBD saving me money, she gave me this one saying she could get it to connect. Took it home, came here to the App Store, found this app, downloaded it. Went to the vehicle, started the car, opened the app, plugged in the reader to my OBD port. In my settings window for Bluetooth, it showed that I was connected; in the app it didn’t. Tried several times to connect, would never make progress to actually show a connection. Deleting the app and throwing reader into my junk for donation pile. 😡
Dont waste your money

You will waste more time trying to pair the device than you will reading vehicle data. The tools that come with the free version only barely work and I have yet to see the tools that come with the plus version work either. There are so many other smartphone-compatible OBD2 readers out there for you to waste your money on this one.
WiFi version.

Don’t know if there connectivity issues with other models but I’ve had a really difficult time connecting with the WiFi version. My mistake when buying as I thought I had selected the Bluetooth version. Have only been able to successfully connect a handful of times (let’s call it 1 out of 10 attempts).
