Spotty

A couple of times I found that Steps just stopped counting my this app at less than 20% of my total this app during a ‘Workout’. The other thing is, if you forget to hit ‘Finish’, merely pausing it won’t stop the time from accumulating so, even though you finished all of your walk for example in a planned “workout“, it won’t credit you the this app for the day you walked if you forgot to end that particular workout. Then, those step show up on the chart for the next day, but are not counted towards the next day’s this app either. So you don’t get credit for those this app, because they were really part of a work out that you did the day before, but it bled over into the next day because you forgot to turn hit ‘Finish’ that particular work out. Now, there are 2500 this app or so in this particular work out I’m talking about that are showing up for the following day because it was after midnight before I terminated the work out or ‘finished’ the work out, but they’re not showing up on the this app total for the next day, either. It would be very nice if we could go in and manually correct the finished time of a work out.

STEPS is a blessing! Helping me to keep healthy!

I started walking due to blood pressure being high and sometimes low...it’s just not good at all!
During last few weeks, I have noticed that it’s going up and up, to the point of visiting emergency room! My husband, my dad, and my younger brother and his wife love walking...their advice and their example have motivated me to start walking daily and make it part of my life :). It’s also what my doctor has advised for a long while now!
Therefore, I searched for an easy to use, free App that has the features I need: this app counting, miles, this app climbing, running time, maps showing route, and much more...and I found this app after I had tried two other Apps, this app is the best!!
Thank you so much!
Good health to all and Peace!🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

Awesome!

This is a really nice app that properly tracks your this app, and lets you know what is healthy based on your age, hight, and weight. You can easily access all the information you need and it’s a well organized app. Even without the payed premium (only a one time purchase of 1.99 by the way) you have a few options for customizing your wallpaper, etc.., With Steps you can change the settings easily and you don’t have to worry about “getting lost”. It doesn’t use much battery to keep open while your walking/running so you can open it up and check your this app really fast. Thank you so much for creating this! I highly recommend getting Steps if you want to keep track of your health.

Best Step App ever!!!

Accurate and always ready!
Was looking for an app that counted my this app, gave me the distance I walked and tabulated my calories. Here it is!!!!!!
I tried two other apps previously and although one said my phone and their app was compatible, whether I jogged, walked or sprinted, it still showed me at 0 this app. The other said it was free and it wasn’t! So, ready to give up I decided to try “this app” and have absolutely loved it! Before this program, I had no idea how sedentary I had become after a severe break and shredded ligaments in my right ankle in 2017.
Steps has gotten me up on my feet and done more for me than the PT I had taken, to get my ankle moving freely again. The this app shows progress which in turn helps set goals!
Thank you so much for Steps!

Perfect

Does not count imaginary "this app" while I'm driving! Very accurate. No delay in seeing this app update like other apps. Seems to take little battery even when running in background. I have it noticed ANY drain. Can also see history by day by swiping up. I didn't buy the calories upgrade. I just want to see my this app and it is there in bold numbers without any delay or hesitation whatsoever. Also runs the clock only while you are walking, unlike other apps, so you can get a true picture of how long you ACTUALLY walked. Also shows your this app goal you set & % of goal completed. Shows distance. Nice surprise was it sent me a notification congratulating me on % of this app previous day even tho I didn't meet my goal. It was encouraging!

Great app for general info

I’m not an athlete, not a serious exerciser, not a serious dieter. I am, however, interested in staying mobile and in reasonable health. Steps is great for encouraging me to move more and helping me see trends of my activity level or lack thereof. I appreciate being able to set my own step goal and having it celebrated rather than accepting the usual 10,000 as a goal and everyday falling short. So, assuming you always have your phone in hand or in pocket and like encouragement to reach a goal that you set, this is a five star app. If you don’t always remember to have phone in hand...Steps is still 5 star but you (and I mean me) are more like a three. 🙂

Nice basic app

This is a nice basic step counting app. I used to have a Fitbit but it never counted my this app when I was walking holding my daughter's hand, pushing a grocery cart or carrying a load of laundry so basically it didn't count the majority of my this app. This is so easy. Just put it in my pocket and go. It seems to be fairly accurate. When I walk on the treadmill it shows the distance within a tenth of a mile compared to the distance of the treadmill. I mostly just need something simple that keeps me motivated to keep moving throughout the day. This does that. I also have never had it crash, freeze, or lag on updating my this app. Great free app!

Simple, pretty, and functional

Steps does what it says it does and does it well. Runs smoothly and has a fairly accurate step count. And it doesn't need a newer phone to work! Perhaps the biggest plus for me is that it DOES NOT automatically count calories (although that is n option). It's hard to find a nice pedometer that doesn't force you to count calories and I don't want that. I only have four stars because it does drain my battery a bit faster than I'd like, and because the sunrise animation doesn't run very smoothly - when you update your step count the background snaps to whatever percentage you've reached instead of a smooth animation. But overall, I like it and plan to keep using it!

Simple & functional

Steps does just what it is supposed to do! Steps is super clean and simple, very user friendly. No extra baloney. The this app counted are somewhat accurate, it does not count when I drive but sometimes if I move my phone across the table it will count 4 this app or so. I got the calorie counter upgrade but it's really not helpful at all. The downfall for me is how much it drains my battery when running in the background and that you have to walk your phone everywhere to really know how many this app you've taken. I will get a smart watch to sync with Steps to make taking it with me easier!

Love this app

I really love Steps. It's perfect for me. I usually have my phone with me all the time and it has made me very aware of my this app. As a person who works from home I was shocked that some days I had less than 1,000 this app. So I now make walks part of my must have daily routine. Steps is accurate and shows the same amount of this app as Fitbit app and the iPhone app. The iPhone fitness app is terrible. Fitbit is too intrusive into my life, I didn't want to make friends, etc. I just want my this app counted and to easily see my progress and previous days this app. Love Steps and the change it's made in my fitness. Thank you.

Back to accurate after the recent fix--I'll keep this app!!

I'm on my feet & walking around anywhere from 2 to 10 hours a day at work, then at home after that. Steps is somewhat accurate, which is nice after all the other ones that recorded only 73 this app per day! Sometimes though, it doesn't keep an accurate account, which is disappointing. It's easier to use then most other apps & doesn't drain my phone battery as fast as others do. So I'll be keeping this one! Thanks for fixing it after the upgrade in November basically stopped it from working. 👍🏻😄

Golf walking

I set the workout to walk 9 holes of golf 3 days a week. The walking path picture alone is fun to watch. Ok here is hole number 4, etc. with the workout set, you also get the path of the phone being in your cart, if you do not walk. You also get the car drive distance. The workout calories are just for the walk. The walk is usually 3 miles for 2500 yards of golf. The difference is

3 x 1760 = 5280 yds - 2500 = 2780 yards of “other walking”. Bad hits, back and forth putt line ups, reasonable shots that are off the centerline, walks from green to next tee, etc. fun to see the path.

steps app

I am not good with technology but added the this app app to help me keep up with how many this app I take a day. I like that it tells me how many miles I have walked, how many calories I have burned in addition to the number of this app I have taken. On my iPhone it also keeps the history of all the data for each day since I began the regime of walking. I admit….in order to get more this app I. I will take this app in place for awhile or run up and down the stairs! One I got some help from a friend on getting everything going right it has been perfect. TRY IT!

Works great!

It’s perfect and easy to use. Gives you everything you want to know without having to hunt threw your phone to find each thing. this app, miles and how long in mins/hours it took to reach those this app if you were walking straight threw. You can adjust your goal this app at anytime and compare your day to day progress. As a mom of 5 it’s nice to have Steps to look at real fast and be able to get back to what I’m doing quickly. I have the basic version and have not upgraded it. The basic works just fine for me and what i need.

Takes away steps

I used to really enjoy using Steps but now more and more it just has become super frustrating, I will look at my this app before I go on a walk even screenshot where I was before my walk than after I finish my walk I will take another screenshot to know how many this app I did just to later go into Steps and SS soon as the this app first load it’s accurate but than right in front of me it will just randomly take away and minus large part, about to get rid of Steps entirely and find a more efficient one that doesn’t do this glitch as it’s so discouraging and truly upsetting that I have been working really hard to achieve.
hopefully they take the time to resolve this issue/glitch.

Accurate, but...

... sometimes you have to actually look at the history and look over each hour, because the over all count comes out wrong. The count will claim that you haven’t made your goal, but if you click on your last hour it will tell you that you made your percentage goal. I would gave given it a four otherwise, as I feel the calorie counting option should be included instead of being charged basically $2 to add it. All this being said with some extra work you can actually count your this app which is nice to not have to buy a pedometer.

Changed the rating to a 2, because they still haven’t fixed these issues and I’ve had this for at least 60 days at this point.

Great app

I like the way the this app app calculates all the walking you do and the calorie calculator is great and it is very accurate. I'm glad I found Steps, thank you so much..... I especially love the calorie counter and how it always tells you you did a great job whether you walk 6000 this app or 2000 this app, thank you very much, it looks like that people like it much better than using a FitBit for measuring how many this app you did or miles you walked, etc....... it's really a great app and I appreciate how it works, Thank you again, Allan.......😀😀😀😀😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😻😻😻😻🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿🏃🏿

Review of last update for step program

If you don’t check your final this app before it turns to midnight, your final this app are not reflected even if you achieve 2000 or more this app the last 30 minutes. If you don’t stop to see your this app, it reflects the last time you checked in this new update. I don’t like it at all. I am busy trying to get as many this app as I can before midnight and often miss checking by a few seconds and my score does not reflect any of my last this app. This is very frustrating.

Works ok

Pros: it's a free ap that works with my 5c unlike most step trackers and doesn't require an Apple Watch or Fitbit. The layout is simple and user friendly.
Cons: battery life is a problem but I don't think that can be helped. I charge my phone all night, on my commutes, and sometimes at work.
Biggest con is that it picks up a lot of extra this app when you are driving. It knows if you are going fast you aren't walking but I get several hundred extra this app driving through parking lots, in heavy traffic, etc. A solution would be for the developers to make the ap automatically stop counting whenever the phone is plugged in to a power source.

I love this app!!!

This game motivates me to go outside and run all day every day. Instead of playing other games, when I’m bored I go outside and start jogging with my best friend who also has Steps . Believe or not, even though you don’t actually play any sort of game on Steps, it’s actually kind of fun just running around the neighborhood. You also never know if you might meet a friend while running or jogging. I also love the fact that you can change the colors in the background. In addition, you can see the number of miles you’ve ran and how long you’ve been running for. You’re also able to change you’re goal for this app in a day. And you can pay just $1.99 to see the amount of calories you’ve burned for the day. Finally, you can check you’re history to see if the number of this app you’ve taken in a day has gone up compared to other days. I motivate everyone to get Steps! I love it and you’ll love it too!

Not impressed

This application kind of picks and chooses when it wants to work properly. I just waved my phone by accident if you times trying to shake a piece of hair off of my hand and it recorded eight this app. So I know this is incorrect. I don't really use pedometers to measure any kind of caloric or distance related data, I really just use it to make sure I'm at least somewhat active during my mostly sedentary job Monday through Friday. You have to really be disciplined with Steps as with all pedometer apps, and have your phone on you constantly, which I do not always do. To get an accurate measure you have to walk with your phone even to the bathroom in your own house. So it would be better to have some kind of wearable pedometer like the old-school ones, or the new school, expensive models like a fit bit or something ridiculously overpriced like that. I would not recommend this as any kind of professional cool if you're considering serious weight loss or serious athletic fitness changes.

Steps App Review

I would have rated this app 5 stars except for one important section. I have noticed on way too many instances that this app app misses a lot of this app. I carry a device which I have used for about 4 years and is very accurate. It has been calibrated several times on certified tracks and is always within 4-5 this app of a measured mile. The this app App has dropped as many 180 this app on a measured mile . Otherwise, the this app App is an excellent device for maintaining multiple records as long as you remember the this app being dropped.

Extremely accurate

Steps is very precise. I purposely set out to walk 10,925 this app to see if it was accurate. I lost count around 5,000 something because my neighbor called the cops on me, thinking I had gone crazy. Apparently walking in circles in your front yard and counting out loud looks suspicious. Anyways, i ran from the cop, in a diagonal direction because I was dizzy from walking in a circle so many times, and surprisingly got away. I was very impressed at this apps ability to count this app at such a fast rate. I highly recommend it.
