Just what I was looking for, but a small suggestion ...

My friends and I had been looking for an app where we could send challenges to each other and compete to see who has the most steps. StridekickActivityChallenges was just what we were looking for and is user friendly, simple looking, and has positive energy.

We love the challenge options but we’d love if there was a choice to make a collective target. We originally thought that the target challenge was cumulative with all our steps but it turns out it isn’t. I think it’s great to have friendly competition but it’s also fun to work with friends to meet a common goal. I look forward to the future updates with StridekickActivityChallenges and I’ve very excited to start using it with my friends.

Great app but necessarily for large groups.

** I really appreciate getting a response to my review. I reached out and they were able to help accommodate my group so we could switch back to StridekickActivityChallenges . Thank you!!**

I really like StridekickActivityChallenges! The only thing that I really do not like is the fact that you can’t have more than 10 people participate in a private challenge. I run a health and fitness Facebook group for moms and we were doing weekly step challenges with StridekickActivityChallenges. But because we have so many members and more people wanted to join, I had to make multiple separate challenges, so that meant everyone wasn’t able to compete against the group as a whole. Also, I believe you can only have 5 private challenges at a time so that wouldn’t have been enough to include everyone from my group anyway. I really wish you would change the number of participants in a private challenge to unlimited or at least to a cap of 50 or even 100. Hell, we even talked about paying an annual membership if that would allow us to participate together.

Thank you Stridekick

Many thanks Aubrey
It was there all along l just didn’t scroll down. Many thanks. I have truly enjoyed StridekickActivityChallenges. It has changed my lifestyle for the best. From dropping 16 kilos -(96 to 80 kilos ) and still improving. I am walking every other day. Outdoor and indoor. Carrying my phone everywhere to ensure to count my steps!! Thanks to the challenges and some l created myself. I joined June this year and l guess am hooked for life. Thank you for the motivation, tips and exciting challenges. I have truly enjoyed and challenged myself to waking up as early at 6am to complete the activity for the day. My completed challenges and steps walked this year after recovering from Covid-19 is a miracle from God and consistency and doggedness from me and most especially my husband, children, sister - a member and friends. They all have seen a new me - looking younger and stronger. Thank you to your team. Keep up the good work and inspiring us on.
Best wishes for 2021🏽🏽

Awesome Tracker App

I was looking for something that could track my steps and progress that was accessible through multiple platforms since my friends all have different devices! StridekickActivityChallenges does that!

Really like the UI of StridekickActivityChallenges , you can easily see your progression. I also really like the challenges, though I wish they were more visual, maybe a nice background photo ? I also wish StridekickActivityChallenges gave you the ability to archive your old challenges instead of waiting 60 days, which seems too long to me. It makes my chats section cluttered. Also please provide an easy way to sync with Samsung watches!!

Overall though StridekickActivityChallenges is great!! Thank you!!

Great app!

I love that StridekickActivityChallenges is compatible with many different types of trackers. I’ve been able to participate in challenges with people I wouldn’t be able to without StridekickActivityChallenges...we all have apple watches, Fitbit, Samsung watch and other devices but were all able to compete together. You can join challenges that are based on individuals competing or an over all goal that everyone tries to achieve daily. I also like that there are existing challenges you can join, or you can create your own. I reached out to support with a suggestion for one of the existing challenge groups and they were so friendly and even implemented the suggestion. Highly recommend StridekickActivityChallenges !

Good stats so I can challenge myself

I used a Fitbit for over a year and then an Apple Watch. StridekickActivityChallenges helped me make the transition because I could see my steps, distance and workout minutes tracked over time on three different graphs—and by week, month and year. Fantastic! And also free, which is better than some other apps out there.
I have 5 friends I sync with but we don’t really do challenges. StridekickActivityChallenges does help me compete with the one other competitive person in the group (Garmin wearer) and I would say we’ve maintained our streak longer than we would without an app. StridekickActivityChallenges is worth downloading and trying.

Disappointed

I’ve had StridekickActivityChallenges for a few years. I’ve completed with co workers and then introduced with family. The competitions have been good and the chats have been good for encouragement. Lately, probably the past 6 months there have been a lot of people who may use it for the wrong reasons. Also lately less than appropriate chats. I mostly just removed those people and left the competitions. Also, a group of people seemed to have started policing for users they consider to be fake or those to watch out for. I post maybe my first comment recently and a user with a female’s name put up the caution emoji. I did ask why to no response. But I don’t need a target like that put on me. I deleted the comment and then just decided to delete StridekickActivityChallenges . It just makes it not worth it. But thought you might want to know why you lost a long time user.

Love the app and challenges.

StridekickActivityChallenges is great. Love the challenges and the opportunity to make friends and challenge each other.
However, I’ve not been getting earned badges. I contacted support and they said it was a problem with StridekickActivityChallenges that they are working on it and when it’s fixed I’ll get my badges. However it’s been several days now since talking to support.
The badges are rewards and gives encouragement to keep going. I would really appreciate receiving my badges I’ve earned.

Love the app so far

I just started utilizing it and trying to get my friends from Fitbit to join. After that I will work on getting my Apple friends to join too. Although the limit of 10 in a challenge dampers things. I wish that journeys were free in StridekickActivityChallenges as it motivates allot of my Fitbit friends. Or even if the developer had a mid grade plan. I would pay for that. But the other app costs a lot for a bunch of friends or family to join. Its geared more for larger corporations in pricing. StridekickActivityChallenges is clean and so far user friendly.

Nice app to connect with different fitness trackers

I got StridekickActivityChallenges because my family has a variety of fitness trackers/smart watches and we needed something easy to connect us so we could motivate each other to walk/run/move more. We love it Stridekick! Simple to use and the bonus is the one time we had a problem with syncing our Garmins, the support staff responded immediately and took care of the issue. I haven’t had that kind of quick and personal tech service for years, thank you Stridekick for caring and getting that right!

Slow syncing

Will not use in the future as it is. The syncing for data from Fitbit is ridiculously slow if it does it at all. Using it as part of a company fitness challenge, but I’m about ready to drop if this thing doesn’t stop wasting my time.

We’re going by active minutes by the way. I’m going to try again with Apple Health, otherwise I would not recommend StridekickActivityChallenges simply because of how ridiculous the syncing is. There’s also a bug where when I try to connect my device, it will repeat itself without going anywhere.

(This has so far been mostly with Fitbit, and I know it is not a Fitbit based issue because that actually records my data unlike this garbage.)

Notifications, but I can’t see why?

This may be based upon my notification settings, but I see that I have 1 thing to check or look at, but once I open StridekickActivityChallenges , there isn’t an obvious place to go and check it. So now I have a chronic little red “1” on my app badge and I don’t know how to clear it. 🤷‍♀️

Other than that, I really like StridekickActivityChallenges . I like that it is across multiple platforms so my non-Apple friends and I can all join in on the step-counting challenge fun! The interface is pretty easy to use and I like that there are community challenges if someone is interested!

Best App for Step challenges

I am using Stridekick from last 1 year with 15-20 another friends. We do Leaderboard step challenges. Our group members use different devices like Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin..etc and Stridekick is the only App that syncs with all these devices and meeting our needs 100%.

No outages to StridekickActivityChallenges during last 1 year.

The only limitation is 10 users per challenge. I really hope Strikekick will increase this limit to 15 or 20 for private challenges.

Great idea but a bit buggy

The concept of StridekickActivityChallenges is great, the challenges are fun, and setting things up is relatively user friendly. Just needs to work out the bugs and the slowness at times. Sometimes it will keep you stuck on a user profile without letting you go back to the main menu (unless you quit StridekickActivityChallenges ). Response time is a bit off as well and lagging/slow loading also happens.

Will continue to use and would recommend to others, but bugs must be improved in order for it to be a high-quality app.

Best App for Steps Challenges by far

I help lead a health initiative at the school I teach at. We decided to do a steps challenge to encourage teachers to get moving. Stridekick is the best and most user-friendly app there is. I did a lot of research to find the right app that would collect all of the data, sync with varying devices, and allow participants to manually enter there steps. Stridekick is the only and best one I found. It is a great platform for anyone looking to encourage themselves and others to get moving!

Used for virtual challenge

It was fun to be able to a way to connect with friends all over during this quarantine. Nu Psi Zeta Military Sorority used StridekickActivityChallenges for our “step in the name of Lupus” challenge. Over 100 people participated but we ran into small hiccups. This might be user error but the challenge was only big enough for a group of 10. It was hard to keep track of everyone with so many sub-challenges. Another issue was StridekickActivityChallenges not being available to Fitbit users.

Like it so far, but I’d like to see more

I like StridekickActivityChallenges because I recently switched to an Apple Watch from a Fitbit, and I was really sad I couldn’t sync my steps to challenges in the Fitbit app. I would like to see push notifications for challenges as well. That is a major feature of the Fitbit app that I miss. It prompts you to move a little more when you are close to passing someone you are challenging.

The best app ever

StridekickActivityChallenges has motivated me to get at least 10,000 steps a day. You can join challenges with people from all over the world some getting as many as 100,000 steps a day so it definitely makes me want to push myself. I have a desk job and was merely making 1k to 3k steps a day now on a bad day I hit 10k and a good day 20k. I am hoping to start hitting 25k soon. It's a process but the reward of feeling healthier is worth it!

100% Recommend

My friends and I decided to start a steps challenge to help move more since most of us have been working from home and not moving around a lot. StridekickActivityChallenges has been perfect! Extremely user friendly and allows people using different devices to compete. The admin team is also amazing and have helped me out with questions I have had (shout out Natalie!).

Spectacular App

I love StridekickActivityChallenges. Sometimes workout is at the bottom of our todo list but StridekickActivityChallenges made it number one on my list. I love the motivation and the challenges that StridekickActivityChallenges provides. Because of StridekickActivityChallenges me and my family friends are able to spend time and even go outside. Thank you. Also the service is spectacular. They responded so quickly and politely. This is a really good app.

Great tracker, fitness tool, and social platform.

StridekickActivityChallenges is fun to use and keeps you connected with your friends. You can chat within StridekickActivityChallenges to challenge your buddies or comment on their performance. Create challenges and see everyone’s progress. Set parameters of each challenge and goals to be obtained. Besides keeping track of yourself, it keeps you socially involved with your peers. 👍

Stridekick 2.0

I love the Stridekick 2.0 app, which I just downloaded. It was very easy to create a challenge with minimal instructions, even with no experience using this type of app. It only took about 5 minutes from starting app installation to completing creation of my first challenge and inviting others! It’s a great way to encourage each other to stay active over the holidays. Great product!

Great app

I used to use the version one of StridekickActivityChallenges in the past. This version is a great improvement. It helps in bringing all my friends on different platforms to compete against each other. StridekickActivityChallenges surely has increased everybody's participation towards leading a healthy and active lifestyle. Kudos and big thanks to StridekickActivityChallenges makers.

Looking forward for other exciting features in the near future.

Great motivator

We started using this after several coworkers switched from Fitbit to Apple Watch and overall it’s worked great! The challenges are easy to set up and the interface is very nice. My only wish is that there was way to shorten the time for the final sync when the challenge had ended. Three days seems too long.

Great look + easy set up

I’ve used the original Stridekick app and downloaded 2.0 to give it a try. Right off the bat StridekickActivityChallenges looks really good! Nice updated look and easy navigation. Creating a challenge is fast. I like the new chats section and we can respond with emojis which is cool. Overall well done!

Absolute JUNK after Jan 11, 2020.

Updated StridekickActivityChallenges & it will not sync with my Garmin App anymore. Has not updated in 2 days. I even deleted StridekickActivityChallenges & re-added it. I tried everything they said in the stridekick app to try. I even deleted permissions on Garmin and reconnected. If you update an app, FIRST don’t log your users OUT and require them to sign back in. Second, don’t make it useless. The same thing happened to my whole family’s apple watches but deleting StridekickActivityChallenges solved it. Total junk now!!

Awesome support!

Customer support for StridekickActivityChallenges is outstanding to say the least! Responses are usually within minutes and they are very clear. Looking forward to my first created team challenge, beginning in a few days. Steve H.

Great for cross platform challenges

StridekickActivityChallenges is outstanding in general, but really great when you have a group that use different platforms (Garmin,Fitbit, Apple, etc). The people I’ve dealt with at Stridekick are always pleasant and helpful as well. I highly recommend StridekickActivityChallenges.

Makes exercise fun

Using StridekickActivityChallenges in a friendly competition definitely got me to walk a lot more than usual . This easy to use app makes getting more exercise fun. Highly recommended!

By

Love this app

Am part of a running group , StridekickActivityChallenges enables us to participate in monthly challenges , agnostic of which fitness platform individuals use . The support team is responsive . The version 2.0 is smooth and seamless .

By

Delayed and still not working as intended

StridekickActivityChallenges was touted to be launched on December 1st as noted in numerous alerts and pop ups in the 1.x app. December 1st came and went and then the communication was simply a link to the update. Now that the new app has shipped you can’t even use the basic sync functionality as linking to a Garmin device returns oauth error after error.

Awesome!!

I love StridekickActivityChallenges! I can keep up with family and friends! I love the challenges that StridekickActivityChallenges offers! It’s user friendly and the respond from the administrators was so fast!

Meh

Disappointed that to have manual entry you have to request it to be enabled - it’s not an automatic option. It would also be nice if you could record your activity from StridekickActivityChallenges itself instead of having to upload from somewhere else.

Pamala van den Broek   8 months ago

I am continually receiving fake friendship requests. That along with all the bible thumping has me leaving stridekick. There were actually people not saying 'hello' anymore because 'hell' was in the word. What is the world coming to?
