PeninsulaClarion gives full access to an online version of the newspaper. Unfortunately, the experience falls well short of a good performance. The problems may be with the severs dishing up the online version or with PeninsulaClarion . I suspect it is with the people preparing the online version that PeninsulaClarion accesses. For travelers this setup is necessary but frustrating.
The links to next pages of articles often will not work. Tapping to enlarge a particular article often do not work, especially on front page articles. Often pages at the end of the paper are not there to read. Sometimes downloading of pages hangs up and communication with the server fails. Partially loaded pages show, but are blurry and no functions for reading them work.
While this is the only way to get the full local paper online, PeninsulaClarion falls short of the experience with similar online version of other newspapers.
