The PDN app is a basic, no frills reader that allows me to follow local news as easily as I can news from major outlets online. One complaint - and I can’t claim any documented proof of this - is that it seems that there are stories that show up in their hard copy edition before making it to the digital edition.

Another issue is that it also seems that PDN puts some stories up on Facebook before (or without?) making them available in PeninsulaDailyNews . The problem there is that my PDN login info doesn’t save via that portal, so I I eventually hit the ‘free story limit’, and have to go through a series of steps to login to my PDN account.

Ultimately, it’s better than generating a lot of solid, albeit recyclable, waste, but it’s not as good as it could be.

I enjoy the PDN in the morning with coffee. It has been very difficult to say goodbye to the actual “paper” because of course we had them every day for our entire life and it’s sad to see that go. Things change and we must adapt I suppose. You put out a good paper, very informative on local happenings and not politically over the top which I so appreciate after these last couple years felt like a guy with a giant hand standing in front of you and doing the Moe(stooges) slap Far Right SLAP!, Far Left SLAP! back and forth across your face and my head is still ringin’! Thanks for your hard work and keeping it up throughout the PAN! Hat’s off!

PeninsulaDailyNews is great when the delivery person can’t make it to our place, and I don’t blame her at all, must be climate change or the way the weather has always changed from year to year, lived here a long time

Nice to be able to read articles on line when I can’t get printed issue because of the weather. Good layout and also like to go direct to articles of interest

This new format for reading the Peninsula Daily News/PDN is much easier to read than the online version. I particularly like being able to read the print edition.

The PDN app is a significant improvement over a pretty good web site. The navigation alternatives are especially useful and the touch to read function, while similar to the web site, is very convenient.

Have enjoyed being able to pull up the paper, as we did not get paper for a few days, and now its arriving later. I really enjoy this.

Grew up over on Peninsula..Daily News then..this is nice to be able to stay in touch..thank you for your hard work..only problem seems to being able to retrieve print ad...

Very easy app to use. Lots of options for reading the “paper.” Makes it possible to read the paper edition on my phone.

Almost as easy as reading traditional paper! Excellent regional coverage.

Feels just like reading a printed news paper, but with enhanced navigation and zooming in when reading selected news articles.

Love the convenience of being able to read our home town paper while any where in the country or out of it. Thanks PDN!

For what is happening local to Port Angeles Sequim and The North Olympic Pennisula. Having digital copy while on the road has me even encouraged me to purchase the print copy for the Family. Thank You

PeninsulaDailyNews is sooooo much better than the online paper. I am a die hard hard copy reader that just converted to e-reading.

The layout, too few stories and when you read a story the text is too small, with too much white space and everything is in two columns. You are constantly having to scroll up and down to read a story! This makes it difficult to quickly read any article.

I pay for the digital edition of the news so now I get the news for free so why should I keep paying?

There are no dates in the articles something could be happening “tomorrow” or “Friday” and you will have no idea when events are happening.

Today there is an article at the top about firefighters being honored. There is an enormous image of the bottom of someone’s face taking up the top section of the list of articles. Why?!

There are other photos where people’s heads are cropped off!
