Greetings I recently purchased a ST2 belt drive. In the first 10 minutes of riding my bicycle, a warning light came on to tell me the motor is overheating. Then the motor stop the assist. I let the bike sit to allow the motor to cool and once the warning light went off I proceeded. Within another 15 minutes it went back on. I went for a bike ride several days later after 7 miles of fighting with the overheating situation I returned back and discontinued the ride Because the motor stop working with the assistance. I returned the bike to electric and folding bikes Northwest Seattle Washington I told him of the situation and they looked for a report on the warnings for the bike. I'm doing this because when I purchased the bike the original battery was swapped out without notifying me. I noticed the employee doing the swap. The original battery was blue and this battery is yellow. So is it possible it has a bad battery? Sincerely Les Buntting

first off, the new features of the app only show km/ kmh. my units are set to miles - was that really missed in testing?!? (which is why i rated it one star)

secondly, this app basically targets just maintaining your bike/ settings. i would expect it to provide MUCH more feedback in today’s world of data. i would be happy with just the basics, such as:
- tracking routes on a map (the bike already tracks via gps)
- trending amount of motor usage throughout a route vs speed/ etc to show my effort.
- various helpful ways to display that data, perhaps considering an integration with third party apps like stravia

so much potential, yet so far to go.

I believe that bike/app integration is completely broken. Connections to the bike fail most of the time and the app always tells me that the Stromer I'm sitting on is 1km away. Unusable!

Doesn’t launch

After updating to the latest version of the app, I can no longer get the app to open. It opens a screen with the Stromer OMNI logo but just sits there spinning. It used to work perfectly ... this update has crippled it.
