It would be much more appreciated if myself and the group I support cease to receive these messages. Typically the trend is when SEP is updated I or if I am testing my device for recording enrollment procedures and changes. Just not satisfied at all with this. If I could give negative stars I would. People who have upgraded their phone have received emails regarding the status of their old phone nearly a month after. Repetitive email response.

It takes longer for this app Mobile to finish scanning apps than it takes to restore an entire phone from an iCloud backup. I got a new phone and restored it in about an hour with all apps installed. this app Mobile has been “analyzing” for 90 minutes. Meanwhile, I can’t log in to my company portal because my device isn’t yet in compliance. What a crappy application.

Installed SEP on my company phone. This is the worst app ever as it drains a lot of battery. Even with power saving mode on, overnight it would drain 20% of battery. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have to use SEP.

Why does it make my phone sooo hot and run my battery down so fast? My employer wants me to run it all the time. I sure they would love it if my phone caught fire and burnt the place down. For now I’ll pass on leaving it open.

Although battery under settings shows only 2% usage, somehow my standby and usage figures are identical when Skycure is open. After I deleted SEP , standby and usage figures were dramatically different as they should be.

SEP highly recommends allowing it to see your location data. When this is always on, you will go through almost doubly the battery in a day. It’s a little after 5pm and I’m already at 50%, when I haven’t done much all day. I charged it up yesterday and unplugged it overnight only to awaken to it already being under 90% when all it did was sit on the counter. By far biggest issue.

I’m getting the notification that it is “Not running Mobile threat defense solution properly”. It wants be to go to alerts to fix the issue but there are no alerts to remediate. Please help

SEP says it is doing what it claims to do, but how can I know what it is actually doing? The developer appears to be located in Tel Aviv, employing 10-15 people. But, it seems to be privately owned. I find almost no info on it. How can I know whether the company is safe? Given that, how can I trust it's "always on" app is safe? I'm removing it.

Skycure has sent me three of their own weblinks to answer my questions. A typical example has a man with an acronym title at a firm with an acronym name saying ... I know we are safe with Skycure ... I trust them.

They also list their "Partners" but the examples they list do not appear to really mean "Partners". Is Microsoft actually a "Partner" in Skycure? I don't know.

They list investors. I searched a random few online, but their sites did not mention Skycure. So, I still don't know.

My questions and doubts remain unresolved. I don't trust something or someone on the web to access my location and wifi links just because they say they will keep me safe.

This application worked fine for quite awhile however recently it has become a major consumer of battery power at 10 to 20 times more than any other application. Someone needs to investigate this issue.

If we have subscribed to Skycure, and have received pop-up messages on our iPhone screen, "Cannot Verify Server Identity," and Skycure was aware of this as a security problem, then why weren't we warned not to tap on "continue" even before the iOS 10 update that addressed the issue?

I like SEP since day one then they started taking away features like the map showing hijacked WiFi hotspots and content manipulation incidents. That’s no good. Lately it’s alerting to content manipulation but even hours with Symantec tech support couldn’t tell me how to address that. It eventually went away but I’ll never know if it was real or false positive. Also you need an mdm subscription for app analysis. If you run your own equipment you can’t get this feature either. I keep it running for peace of mind but with so many features reduced and not avail to home users I’m not sure it’s worth it. It gets. 5 stars for alerting when an iOS update is avail though.

I am not sure where I heard about this, but it is a slick app that works in the background. It is not a VPN, more like a watch dog. After you open SEP , you don't know it is there - until you get an alert. The alert will tell you that a portal you are using, say at a restaurant is not secure, perhaps because it is routed thru an alias. Also, when there is a change in IOS, you get a message even before Apple's warning comes up in settings. As one company says about their product: don't leave home without it.

The combination of the skycure and Symantec technology is pretty amazing. I can setup complex or simple unwanted app rules, SEP uses a patent technology from what I have googled that protects you against network threats without intercepting and looking at your private data, and it also has awesome sms protection. Good stuff

With the most recent update I cannot get SEP to stay open. It automatically closes when you click on the icon. Please fix ASAP!!!! I am not compliant with security policies if SEP won’t stay open!!!

This has revealed wifi eavesdropping on 3 locations this month (a hospital and 2 different supermarket chains). Works silently in background unless it detects a threat, even on my iPhone 4. Recommended!

At first, I didn't think SEP worked because I have it running most of the time and nothing really happened. Until I got a pop up text message about not being able to identify a text message with a running program called *activatemymodem and I some how clicked "continue" and a few seconds later, my internet & modem no longer worked and had no internet. I had SEP closed but open it to see if it could see anything. It found that my information over the Internet could be intercepted by and to reset modem or contact ISP. I did and explained everything to my ISP and they tried to reset my modem but couldn't. It was escalated and the tech was able to finally access my modem to reset it after 4hrs. Now, I keep SEP active every time I'm in Wifi (secured). Oh, and it also alerts you if you need to update to the latest update!!

I’m able to run 2 of 3 scans. Not sure what it means but I get the “no mdm” app manager message. A rep was supposed to get with me about 3 weeks ago but haven’t heard anything.. other than that great app awesome on Android just not so sure on apples THANX!

Very cool app!! Warned me about my iPhone connecting to a suspicious wifi while walking around DC. Nice threat detection when my phone automatically connects to wifi
