When I try to play sound on IXL question it just throws connection error on my son tab. There is no connection problem. This happens only if I play sound

Hi! The app loads just fine. The error occurs when we press the speaker button to hear instructions or sounds. I then tells us, we are not online. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled twice but it does not help. It only started during the summer. It always worked great before. We would appreciate any help!

Hi there. Ive already received help, but accidentally erased that email. Im so sorry. Anyway, I can sign in, pick a subject, no problem. But the content is not showing/loading up on screen. I tried clearing my history. Didn't work. Any advice? Thank you, Christina M.

Recommendations from the teacher are not appearing on student devices when using IXL on ipads. Questions already completed also not showing up. Also is there a way to access the diagnostic arena when students are using ipads instead of computers?

How to fix IXL app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the IXL app on iPhone
Update IXL app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall IXL iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix IXL on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve IXL network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

IXL Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix IXL not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the IXL App
1. On android, goto Settings » IXL » click [Force Stop]

Update IXL to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear IXL App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » IXL » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart IXL.

Fix IXL unable to contact server/ IXL internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click IXL » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto IXL » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch IXL
