I have mailed six tax-free forms at once on January 15th. After two months I get refunded all except one and ever since support keeps telling me to check back in in 2-3 weeks.
Support simply ignores my escalation request.
Now I started to let customs directly stamp the invoice (your invoice address needs to be your home address abroad). You get full tax free refund, its quicker and you don't depend on global blue company which obviously doesn't care.
Basically impossible to get refund. User experience is very bad. Customer support is non-existent. They take a large cut from your refund.

GlobalBlue allows you to update your passport expiry date but doesnโt change it even after you saved the information. I have changed my address and password expiry date a few times and when I go back still has wrong information. Need to fix this glitch.
GlobalBlue keeps having a error of not connecting to the server. So it doesnโt work at all.
I been trying to login for two were now and itโs keeps giving me error.
My refunds just disappeared. They were showing status and now I donโt see anything
No matter what location I chose in GlobalBlue it just says error cannot do a search. So this makes me ask literally every store if they offer tax free.
I had my 3 refunds on this site and it deleted them, I had gotten 2 of my small refunds but the big refund it states it cannot find it and they were all sent on the same day :(
When you select using face ID app keep appearing and not open the mean menu
Never works, canโt even create an account to process this. Constantly crashes when I try to create and account. Same issue when my fiancรฉ tries
Canโt proceed verification, all data was filled from passport scan, but Identification scan always failed.
Very dissatisfied, looks like way to not pay tax free using this as a reason.
Itโs shown on the preview but is no longer a feature. Also it seems to be stuck on Argentina. I canโt even see other countries.
It is a great concept but when you canโt even count on tracking basic purchases - it really destroys trust and value. Make sure to hold all your receipts and tracking numbers because GlobalBlue just has them disappear.
In order to create an account, you must tick a box agreeing that Global Blue can use your information for marketing purposes besides what is required to process tax refunds. Iโm not here to get junk mail - Iโm disappointed that you canโt create an account without agreeing to marketing! Deleting GlobalBlue .
Unfortunately the password requirements are far too insecure for me (letters & numbers only) so I did not want to give them my information. Without that GlobalBlue has customs info and a list of stores in various cities. Nothing I couldnโt find using Google.
GlobalBlue functions well enough but would easily be improved by two minor adjustments.
Issue 1: If you create your Global Blue account via GlobalBlue, you will STILL need to go to the website to complete the registration process.
Issue 2: The Global Blue "virtual card" is not integrated into Apple Passbook. You must log in each time (with an active internet connection), navigate to the "virtual card" and proceed from there. Many travelers do not use their phone's data plan whilst on holiday so please be judicious as to your own use.
If these two issues are addressed in subsequent app updates, GlobalBlue would receive 5 stars from this reviewer.
And yet I receive a notice that one was not. I had them all stamped at the airport. Someone else has messed this up. I received my refunds for my other purchases. Annoying. Not sure I will use Global Blue again.
Nice app. It crashes every time when try to open the calculator. You should add more currencies.

Used to be able to scan in your purchases barcode and keep track of refunds. After upgraded to new version, all that and the function is gone. Lousy app now. Will delete GlobalBlue now. Absolute rubbish!
After upgrading it to the latest version, i can't log in to my account!
Its showing that the password is wrong, but i tried it with the website and the password is working! ๐
I was happy at first with GlobalBlue , however suddenly it stopped working and when I reinstalled it, it removed all my tax forms which I have added manually and only kept those added through the shop system, today when I checked my refund tracker, guess what? It deleted one of the store added forms??! Very disappointed, next time I will use notes to save my doc ids. ๐

On 19 september 2015, I came in to contact with Global Blue for the first time after making a purchase at Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. I was truely disgusted and schocked at how the Global Blue foreign worker with black hair, at the Kiosk had treated me. In process of helping me she went to help another woman (who came in after me). The over stressed woman then started shouting loudly me, saying I am not going to give you any money. Go and get a stamp at customs otherwise I would have to take back the money ?? after informing her I had an open ticket but my son was leaving on the given date. ( please check check camera). I asked why are you shouting at me, she said nothing nor did she apologise. Is she possibly jealous or descriminate. Why is this onprofessional woman is working there? Truely flabergasted I had no idea what she was talking about. Tax free refund at stores are all new to me. I had never heard about Global Blue before. I normally buy tax free articles on my flights or at the Airports. I had tried to contact Global Blue help & support but no information was digitally coming through. I tried logging in without sucess since she had already processed my name, e-mail and passport information. I am truely disspointed customer with the onprofessional service that was provided
