We had a difficult time getting the scooters to work the first time we used them. One scooted has 92% battery life but kept stopping randomly. It also took us a long time to get the scooters activated. We switched scooters and they finally worked. We tried to use the scooters again the next day but BlueDuckScooter didn’t show any scooters in the area. We tried deleting BlueDuckScooter , updating BlueDuckScooter , calling customer service (no answer), and creating a new account. Eventually we had to give up because we had a limited time in town and already wasted the entire morning trying to find the scooters. Honestly don’t waste your time

It is a chore to signup, the link on the scooter that sends you to BlueDuckScooter Store didn’t work for me. One I searched it on BlueDuckScooter Store logging in takes forever it asks for credit card info instead of Apple Pay like every other scooter brand out, so that took more seconds of my time. When you finically get to log in it makes you log in again after finding a scooter. And their forgot password link doesn’t work it sent an email to my phone that I never recover about restarting my password

Tried to take my family. Of course they demand that you have a separate account for every rider. Then the place where I rented it all of a sudden was not a place where you could return it. And when there are lots of scooters there, you cannot see how much power is in the one you rented until you are already committed so one died and we had to ride double on the way back with the others. Who knows what they will try to do to me about the one we left behind.

Use one of the other three carriers in Jacksonville. Their app has a software issue where you can’t return your scooter. The technicality can’t correctly locate you, so your rental continued for hours after you’re down riding. We’ve escalated the issue 3 times and you revisited updates from an external 3rd party company that blue duck uses to handle inquires. 3 weeks later and no updates or refunds. Terrible company.

Cannot rent multiple scooters on one device. I had a scooter in front of me and was told no scooter was found in the location, had to walk all over the city to just find another bike and have the same issue, all within the same TRIP, BlueDuckScooter wouldn’t end the ride, BlueDuckScooter kept crashing multiple times. I don’t recommend this at all, complete waste of time.

We had a great time using the scooters until the end when our app wouldn’t turn in the scooters. I ended up getting charged $90 over what I should have then it took forever to get reimbursed. I ended up having to go through my bank. Then a month later I get charged again for a scooter rental when I wasn’t even in that city! We (4) had a fantastic time riding around downtown (after 7:30) Looked around Magnolia’s construction without the crowds and appreciated a beautiful sunset on the suspension bridge. Will be back again!

Will definitely do it again!

BlueDuckScooter really needs to have Apple Pay and/or PayPal integrated. There's no way I'm giving
my credit card details in a text box to a company that just sent me 7 identical confirmation emails when I signed up.

By far the worst scooter and app out of any brand we’ve used. Think some of my teeth are loose after riding around Waco. While other brands are using large pneumatic tires these solid ones help you to feel every bump in the pavement from your feet through your spin to your teeth. Which just fell out a mile back.

The scooter is fun and fast, however BlueDuckScooter requires far too much information, birthdate, phone number, address, and more. Credit card should be all that’s needed, even maybe. Deposit and refund at the end of the ride.

BlueDuckScooter didn’t work for one in our group and my scooter would work. I moved about 6’ by pulling it and it charged us for 3200+’. The second time I tried it it worked.

Unable to rent multiple scooters on one account forcing me to ride by myself, I was scared. Advertised as $.30 per minute, I rode for 2 minutes then returned it, I was charged just under $4. Downloading invoice does not work. Calling customer service was unsuccessful, the call would not go through. Do not ever fly blue duck.

The signup process away overly complicated but after that BlueDuckScooter worked well.

I wanted to ride with my family of three but we couldn’t ride because I disappointedly found out we could not rent more than one bike on BlueDuckScooter . What a disappointment since it took 25 minutes to download with the teens excited the entire time......

This application is absolute trash!! We wasted about 30 minutes trying to get one of the scooters to scan and it just keep exiting out!! Even when attempting to type in the barcode it kept glitching out! Don’t even waste your time!!

It would just close out instantly whenever I swiped “end ride”, costing us a lot of wasted money trying to figure out how to close it. At least riding was fun.

The scooter on BlueDuckScooter didn’t work when I go to it. But they charged me anyway saying that I had used it to go almost a mile. Which is ridiculous. I feel totally ripped off. Stay away!!

Really unsafe to use bc BlueDuckScooter is so buggy. Was using it and BlueDuckScooter bugged out and locked our scooters in the middle of riding on the road, was an extremely scary and unsafe situation. Then BlueDuckScooter didn’t let us unlock the scooters and had to walk the rest of the way. yikes !
