My Android version of pcloud is working fine. The Linux version, however, is not. It will run for about 1 second and exit (exit returns 0, i.e, no errors), but does not open pcloud ... it just exits. Could it be that it's now a 32 bit app on a 64 bit system? Probably not, but worth asking. FYI, this started a few days ago.

Truly like pCloud but often frustrated with the App. Use Linux and when pCloud App crashes it does not always restart clean. Will be running but no GUI Window to see status and control it. Repeated uninstalls (thorough) and re-installs fail and when finally works it crashes to same interminable process again. Each reinstall removes all settings, syncs, and shares setup in the App. I am lifetime member so stuck with this. I often feel my primary source data is at risk in these situations as after a fault I may find pCloud trying to download to my sync source thousands of files that I do not know what is downloading so then un-trust its protection of my data. I had to decide to only run pCloud App or any sync function to pCloud via local data being a backup copy I run daily using one direction copy from primary source data to local source backup using rsync. Just found some possible alternate Sync to pCloud solutions that will try out. Rclone which is terminal based and aplha development of GUI for RClone called Celeste.

May 29 2023 - MacOS 10.13.6, pCloud 3.13.1, suddenly stopped working -- needed to "Enable Drive" but it never enabled. After a full reset and reinstall (more than one) I now get "pCloud Drive failed to initialize, you must restart the application" when trying to launch the newly installed app. This is VERY frustrating! I've already given up on my carefully cultivated Sync operations (re-establishing these can take DAYS), but I just want pCLoud to open it's virtual drive again! HELP!

Am using an Apple MacBook with an Intel chip and Monterey OS. Whenever I try to access the pCloud app it hangs and causes the cursor to switch to the spinning "bowling ball." Apple's Activity Monitor shows pCloud isn't responding. Cannot enable pCloud as a virtual drive.

After uploading some music files to my pCloud Drive yesterday, the pCloud virtual drive just disappeared from my Windows PC. Having more time to work on the issue today, I found that not only has the virtual drive disappeared, but the desktop app will no longer open. I ran the pCloud software repair program to no effect. I finally ended up completely uninstalling and reinstalling the pCloud program from my computer. The app still will not open, nor has the virtual drive reappeared. The only way that I have been able to access my pCloud account and files is via the browser, and uploading is via the browser is as slow as molasses. I would appreciate any and all help with this matter as it is highly annoying, and I only recently purchased my lifetime storage license. Thank you.

I'm running pCloud on Linux (Mint 20.3 and 21) and it crashes (core dump) every time i'm trying to copy a large amount of files to my pCloud drive via the Terminal command line. It works through the file manager though (either Thunar or Nemo) but i need to automate backups so this can't be a solution for me. I've searched the net and obviously this issue has been discovered at least 5 years ago but still not resolved which is a shame imho...

I had the same problem reported by Malc and Muz here, reached out to support and eventually got around to fix it, so I'll share what I did, hopefully that's useful for someone else. I've an M1 Macbook Air with Ventura 13.0.1 installed, and running the latest version of pCloud 3.12.1 (M1 version). First thing you should try is: a. Go to System settings/preferences, Privacy & Security, Others -> Extensions -> Added extensions and look for pCloud drive. If it's disabled, enable it, and try running pCloud again (I figure this was probably the issue, as somehow I had this off after Finder crashed on me during a transfer). If that doesn't do it, then follow the steps bellow 1. Go to the web version of pCloud, Account -> Settings -> Security and look for devices. There, clear the one you have for your mac (this will make it so you can at least pCloud will prompt login before crashing) 2. In you mac, open the Activity Monitor (search for it with spotlight) and force quit the pCloud process (you can use the searchbox on the right to find it) 3. After that, delete the app from the Applications folder 4. Next open the Terminal and enter the following command: rm -r .pcloud 5. Restart your computer 6. Download and install the latest pCloud drive version from their site 7. Right after install, you should be logged out so go ahead and quit the app 8. Do step a. (up above) 9. Start pCloud and login (should be working fine now) Hope this helps someone else. If not, do reach out to their support as they were actually fast and helpful (support at pcloud.com).

on M1 Mac mini I have exactly the same problem as Malc Gurnham here. Mac app crashes immediately after loading. Tried a re-install, but problem stays the same. This mean that app is totally unusable.

pCloud keeps crashing only MacBookPro (M1 Max Ventura) When I load the pCloud app it sets up in the toolbar, but when I access it in Finder it shows up ok then when I select a folder it goes to the folder but won't go back without crashing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still the same problem, at the moment mypCloud is totally unusable. It is working fine on my iPad and iPhone. Please help!

I can see the p:\ directory in a DOS window. The green icon on the folder in file explorer is missing. When I try to copy a file from the P: drive to a local drive, I get the error message "The specified network name is no longer available." Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
